"Efficient Time Logging, Minor Input Annoyances"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto allows me to easily log my hours, and I can even add them in retrospect. It really helps me focus on doing my work when I'm on the clock. The live hours tracking is also a nice feature. I find the interface to be simple and easy to use, making it easy to see when I worked, how it translates to my pay, and when I can expect to get paid. It has been exceptionally easy to set up from my end, as it's just some forms I need to do for any interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

When I enter hours, the numbers function for the time (say, 07:00 PM) is really annoying to enter. It's just annoying to have to type '07, [enter] 00 [enter] PM.' It would be better with an easier interface for clicking when I started and ended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto Makes Payroll and tax reporting Simple, Fast, and Stress-Free"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

makes payroll simple - Gusto works hard to make it as easy to understand as possible. LOVE having my 'dashboard' of key actions to take care of. Helps me not worry about what I might be missing as everything timely is listed right there. They work very hard to make each function as simple to understand as possible. Streamlines things. example: changing payroll review to one screen to review and add bonuses from one screen that functions like a regular spreadsheet for filling in multiple info, yet is 'smart' and autosaves so you can go back out and back in without worrying about losing/re-entering info. LOVE how easy it is to onboard someone or remove. Love how they allow us to easily have team members in multiple states and those relevant taxes paid through gusto without me worrying about compliance in all those areas. I love the integration with background checking so we don't have to use a separate service. Simple to understand pricing that appears to me to be of great value for the services included. It's quick - our team can input hours from their phone app or online. HIGHLY recommend! I've referred to quite a few other businesses even before I knew they had a referral bonus available! "Easy-to-Use Payroll with Smooth Onboarding and Reliable Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is easy to use, largely because of its intuitive navigation bar. It helps me quickly find exactly what I need, whether that’s my most recent paycheck or my available PTO hours. Onboarding was smooth, and in the three years I’ve been using Gusto, I haven’t run into any performance issues.

I’m not aware of any integrations or AI features within Gusto. If those features aren’t available, I’d love to see them added; if they do exist, I’d appreciate it if they were more visible and easier to find. Lastly, I’m not responsible for payment, so I can’t speak to the cost or ROI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

While I can see a high-level overview of my benefits in the Benefits tab, I wish the platforms that provide my benefits (for example, UnitedHealthcare) were integrated into Gusto so I could view everything in one place. I also wish I could customize the Home tab to better fit what I want to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified HR with Gusto, Minor Payday Glitches"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like the user interface of Gusto, which makes it easier to process payroll and manage employee information with minimal hassle. The simplicity of both the website and the app is what keeps me coming back, as it effectively simplifies my payroll and employee management tasks. It's very easy to use for clocking in and out and processing payrolls for both independent contractors and employees. Also, I find the HR services added to Gusto really helpful. Plus, their customer service is great, which adds to my overall positive experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I find it problematic that employees cannot clock in and out on payday. This issue complicates things because it means a lot of manual work to go back and enter the clock-in information for those days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Training-Free Timesheets and Payroll Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

The platform feels really intuitive, easy to use without any formal training required. I use it for timesheet keeping, and tracking my payroll mostly. The onboarding process also felt extremely smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I had filled my I9 form when I joined DriverAI LLC, and I made an error in it. There was no way for me to correct it, or raise a request in the platform so that my supervisor could provide me access to correct it. I had to reach out to my supervisor separately for it. "Gusto Makes Payroll and HR Effortless with an Intuitive, Reliable Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

**Gusto Review**

We've had a great experience using Gusto for payroll and HR. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has made managing our team significantly easier.

**UI / UX:**

One of Gusto's biggest strengths is its clean, modern interface. Everything is well organized, making it easy to navigate whether you're running payroll, onboarding a new employee, or accessing tax documents. Employees also find the self-service portal straightforward and user-friendly.

**Integrations:**

Gusto integrates seamlessly with many of the tools we already use, including accounting software, time tracking, and benefits platforms. These integrations reduce manual data entry and help keep everything synchronized across systems.

**Performance:**

The platform performs consistently well. Payroll processing is fast, reports generate quickly, and we've experienced very few technical issues. The reliability gives us confidence that payroll and tax filings will be handled accurately and on time.

**Pricing / ROI:**

Gusto offers excellent value for the features it provides. While there are less expensive payroll options, the time saved through automation, compliance support, and ease of use more than justifies the cost. The return on investment is especially noticeable for small and growing businesses.

**Support / Onboarding:**

Getting started with Gusto was simple, thanks to its guided onboarding process. Customer support has been responsive and knowledgeable whenever we've had questions, and the help documentation is comprehensive enough to solve many issues without needing to contact support.

**AI / Intelligence:**

Gusto has continued to add intelligent features that simplify administrative tasks and improve workflows. Its smart recommendations, automated compliance features, and helpful insights reduce the amount of manual work required, allowing us to focus more on our employees and business operations rather than paperwork.

**Overall:**

Gusto is an excellent all-in-one payroll and HR platform. Its intuitive design, dependable performance, strong integrations, and thoughtful automation make it a solution we'd confidently recommend to businesses looking to simplify payroll and employee management. "Easy-to-Use Platform With Top-Notch Transparency"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

Ease of use and transparency! Their online platform is extremely easy to navigate and user friendly. The transparency with their process is top notch. I know exactly what I need to do, when I need to do it and they even check to make sure I have sufficient funds in my checking account to clear payroll. It's night and day over my last payroll company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I wouldn't count this as a dislike, more of a slight annoyance, but I don't care for the advertisements for other services. It's really not a hendrence though and I recognize they are only showing me services that might benefit my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast Setup, Helpful Support, and Big Payroll Savings with Gusto"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I needed to find an alternative to Quickbooks Payroll and did some checking and saw Gusto was rated high. I figured I would do a trial to see. I setup the entire thing, even added the employees and linked it to QB in about a half hour. A rep from Gusto called me while I was setting up and even helped me through it. I processed my first payroll the next day in about 5 minutes and save about half the cost of QB. I entered all the employees and their withholding without having them do the onboarding but for any new employees I will have them do it themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The only thing I didn't like is that you have to come into the system again a day or 2 later in order to download the QB IIF file then import it. Also, maybe I just don't know how to do it properly but it only imports the main info into QB, not the details by employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Navigate, Top-Notch Support, and Seamless Integrations with Gusto"
5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

excellent website that is easy to navigate, top notch support team that resolves issues quickly & efficiently,

It is reasonably priced, had ADP before for several years and switched to Gusto. So happy that I did and have never regretted making the change.

has integrated with several 3rd parties to expand services such as medical and dental benefit and worker's comp insurance which is more efficient for a small business to handle fewer vendors.

As Gusto has grown bigger, have not seen a drop-off in response rates nor in quality of services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

haven't seen any. there are more services that I would like them to take on such as being able to pay 3rd party vendors such as buying wokrer's comp insurance thru Gusto would be more helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stupid-Simple Payroll Setup With a User-Friendly Employee Dashboard"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love how stupid simple Gusto makes setting up payroll. I am truly grateful for that. All you have to do is enter your employees' hours worked and Gusto will calculate everything else (including taxes) without you needing a degree in math. It also has an extremely user-friendly dashboard for employees to log in and get their own w-2's at the end of each year instead of asking me all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

The customer support for Gusto has completely died over the last year. When you create a ticket, you typically wait 3 days just for some random agent to respond with a copy and paste message that does not even fix your problem. I hate this keyboard it keeps skipping spaces and its driving me crazy They also charge extra for silly things such as filing amended returns with the irs (even though you already pay for there full service tier).
