I like that I can see the date I am getting paid when I login, and that past pay stubs are easy to get. I find this most useful when I am needing documentation of pay stubs such as when applying for a rental, I can easy find all that on my profile. I also really like how easy it is to switch/ split my paycheck. At other jobs, it was always a pain to switch my bank account that is connected to direct deposit, but gusto makes it very simple. I also like I can get my W2 online and not have to wait for it in the mail, as i like to do my taxes as soon as I can to get it done. With this feature I can do it very easily. Gusto is really helpful because it keeps all of my information in one place—benefits, PTO, clocking in and out, and more. The benefits being integrated into Gusto is my favorite part of the program. It’s also very intuitive and easy to use. On top of that, the mobile app is convenient to have on my phone. The website online and the app both perform really well. The support options are also very helpful if I ever need help navigating the program or have questions. The AI support is very useful. Using Gusto day to day, I’ve found that the integrated GPS feature for clocking in and out can occasionally have performance issues. When that happens, I notify support, and since the clock-in/clock-out feature includes a space to add a note, I clarify there that I’m in the correct location. I’m not sure whether the GPS problems I run into are caused by Gusto or by my phone’s GPS itself, so it may not be Gusto-related at all. It's very user friendly, I know where to find all my information. I like that it easily integrates with other apps / sites that I use. I've never had an issue performance wise using the site. I can always easily log in, as can my spouse who helps with benefits. I've used the support team and they've gotten back to me in a timely matter. As an HR representative, I use Gusto daily and rarely run into any performance issues. When I do come across a problem, the chat support is super helpful and quick to get me answers. Gusto is easily the best payroll software I've utilized. The streamlined and intuitive interface is easy to use, bright, and inviting. I really appreciate the mobile integration, allowing me to access all my HR and payroll info, benefits, and more quickly from an app on my phone without needing to log into a dedicated website. The ability to integrate with the kiosk app, time clock, break room, desktop apps, and phone apps is really helpful. The directory features make it easy to find who I need for a given task and contact them, which is a huge plus. The software somehow makes HR and payroll fun with features like answering fun about me questions and seeing coworkers' responses, which adds a personalized touch. I like having all my information in one place, and I don't have to dig through separate portals for paycheck stubs, paychecks, and onboarding paperwork. The countdown feature for break times is a nice touch that makes life easier, and the app's design is smooth and effortless to use. Gusto has been super easy to setup and start using. Adding people and paying them compared to other platforms is seamless. The price is reasonable per month compared to some other platforms I was thinking about. My staff find the app and web page very easy to use when clocking in and out and requesting time off. Gusto also helps with integrations with other companies to make sure that we're compliant and great for getting set up with retirement options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Gusto? The downside of Gusto is the logging in and out may sometimes be unresponsive, but rare. It is extremely easy to navigate and to use. We migrated from having a payroll company handle everything beyond our reporting of the number of hours for our employees; the conversion into this "do it yourself" method that Gusto offers was surprisingly easy. I like the look and flow of the website, also; it is very intuitive and follows common sense standards. I would definitely recommend the system to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It is definitely giving us access to seeing the entire history of our employee payroll which is a huge improvement over having a payroll company handle it! I also appreciate the direct deposits; we have always had our employees cash paper checks, but dd is greatly appreciated by our staff for the timeliness and the ease of it. I use Gusto to accurately track my work hours and compensation, and it helps me ensure my time is recorded correctly for each pay period. I appreciate the transparency it offers, allowing me to easily review my hours and earnings, which gives me confidence that my payroll is accurate. The automation of much of the payroll process saves me time and reduces manual errors, making tracking my hours and payments more efficient. The initial setup of Gusto was very straightforward and intuitive; I was guided step-by-step in a clear, organized way, making it easy to complete the setup confidently without assistance. I love how user-friendly the interface is, with a clean layout and simple navigation, which makes it easy to find what I need without spending time searching through menus. I’d like to see more customizable notifications and reminders for timesheet submissions and payroll updates that would help ensure important tasks aren't overlooked. More customizable notifications and reminders will make it easier to stay on top of important payroll tasks, allowing users to choose when and how often they receive reminders before timesheets are due could help prevent missed submissions. It would also be helpful to customize notifications for events such as payroll processing, direct deposit confirmations, paycheck availability, tax document release, or requests to review and improve hours. Having the option to receive these alerts by email, text message, personal notification, and to set individual preferences for each type would create a more personalized experience and reduce the likelihood of confusion.
