"Gurucan a great solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

I like a lot of things about GuruCan:

- They have good documentation

- They have efficient support

- They have a lot of extra options that you can use: Webinars, Quizzes, Exercicies, discount coupons.

- It's in Spanish too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

I'm still discovering new features, and I haven't been able to test them all, because I don't really need them, like landing pages.

I couldn't highlight anything bad that was essential. The only thing is that the white label is quite expensive for those who need it, which is not my case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of it's kind: User friendly mobile platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

Though I have come across a few online LMS, Gurucan is the first platform that addresses Mobile access applications that can be designed by the course creator. Usually getting an app requires a developer to design and set up. But, with Gurucan, the creator can decide what kind of app they want and how they want to design it. All technical and backend management is done by gurucan, meaning less headache to the course creator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

Nothing at the moment. Looking forward to new designs and themes for the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"THE online platform for all my courses and teaching resources"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

There are a few things I really like about Gurucan.

Firstly, the ability to house and sell all my courses and teaching resources (challenges, memberships, etc.), as well as host webinars "under one roof".

Then, there's the smartphone app...how cool is it to offer access to a course through an actual smartphone app, that's automatically created for me but that I can still customize?

Speaking of smartphones, I'm a big fan of the push-notifications Gurucan lets me send to students or customers of a specific product. Now, I can rest assure that every message or announcement I share is going to be seen!

Plus, Gurucan even lets me create automations that are triggered once certain parameters are met.

So, for me, Gurucan is an excellent tool because of its versatility – I can sell courses, challenges and memberships, host webinars, set up automations, create landing page, give access to students through the Gurucan iOS or Android app, and interact with them through email, native chat and push-notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

The are two things I'm not a big fan of, and that I hope will be addressed soon – though neither is a deal-breaker.

The first one is the limitations of the course and landing page builder, which lacks certain elements, such as columns, for instance.

The second point has to do with the Gurucan "framework" when creating a course. Basically, when creating a course, you might want/need to create accompanying elements such as an offer, an email, a chat and a landing page. It would be great if, once I create a course, everything else was created automatically, even if on a basic level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive, versatile e-learning software!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

Although this software for about a year, they have developed a versatile software for producing e-learning content, marketing it for potential customers, communicating with and among their subscribers. They even have functioning mobile apps avaiIable, and possibility to white label. Pricing policy is very competitive, if you are not into publishing with white label app. Embedding video from various sources worked well, even from Alugha.com Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

Nothing so far. Whenever I have found something to criticize and contacted support, they have either fixed within 24 hrs or responded to my issue or responded and suggested adding the issue on their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stunning LMS with own mobile app"
5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

The GuruCan app lets you create an online course, challenges, or memberships quickly and easily, and lets your members access the content from their phones and it lets you promote your course, challenge, or membership with easy with build-in landing pages and drip-content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

There should be more features that involve gamification to encourage users of the courses to active participation in the courses. Also, it's not possible to embed 3rd party services and show it for mobile content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Awesome LXP/LMS!"
5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

I am super impressed with GuruCan! I am blown away by the amazing features, the great support (instant replies with solutions!), engaged founders and above all an awesome understanding of what an LMS / LXP (learning experience platform) needs to have in order to engage learners (and teachers alike).....

Among all the other Learning Platforms that I have had experience with, this one is the most versatile and hopefully (Fingers Crossed) the one that I see will have the brightest future! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

Nothing to dislike so far! I like what I see at the moment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"With Gurucan: You can really be the Guru!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

Where to start with this review. I've been waiting for a platform exactly like Gurucan for ages. I already have a few LMS platforms such as FreshLMS, Classtra and more. While they are solid, they are single purpose. With Gurucan you have Courses! Webinars!  Blogs!  & Quizzes! a White Label !!! possibility. It's a 7-in-1 All you can eat buffet of learning technologies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

Other users have mentioned the platform speed issues and some mislabeling issues. but I expect that is something that will improve based on all the feedback already provided. The Gurucan team has been highly responsive with the community feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great potential but not needs improvement"
3/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

1- It offers LMS with an app for IOS and Andriod

2- Easy to use

3- offers membership and webinars(Beta)

4- very responsive support team (it gives me some hope) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

1- Very ugly footer https://nimb.ws/FlQzEU with a link to the app So it's not completely white label

Over 200 vote on the road map suggested removing it, and finally, it will be removed after 3 weeks! on Feb 25

2- The app has access to a lot of private information that is not necessary for the app functions for example (Mic, Camera, precise location, contact list, phone status, modify system settings) way more than similar apps like Udemy requires. the support team said they will simplify it in the next week but it's still there.

3- It allows you to offer only one payment method PayPal or stripe, what if some of my clients have Paypal others have stipe!

4- The landing page and the course is very slow (8/100) on google speed test! (simple page with few pic and one video) https://nimb.ws/Cd3maT

the support team also mentioned in the Q&A that they will work on the speed and using CDN.

5- there are small glitches here and there as the company is new, for example, I want to have some parts of the course available for free so people can have a look before they buy. that's not available yet. not easy to add testimonials and manage it, you can't customize the check out like what you do with Teachable and other softwares.

I'm still trying with the product and I will update my review as I see things changing.

The main important thing for us is how fast is the product development. 3 weeks to just remove the footer is very disappointing and too slow in my opinion. There are over 20 highly important requests on the road map if each one took you 3 weeks or more we need to wait some years before we can fully use the product

I hope my feedback is helpful and im looking forward to them implementing the new changes so I can switch to using GuruCan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A GREAT FLEXIBLE TOOL TO DELIVER YOUR INFOPRODUCT"
5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

I moved my academy in a couple of days from another platform that missed many features that Gurucan has.

Clear and nice, flexible and easy to understand both for creator and users.

great support

CRM well organized with tags

white label

mail automation

offers (where you can combine different products like a course and articles etc.)

specific chats for each product

articles

and so many useful features that do not need integrations so that in one platform you have almost all you need. At this point integrations are only a way to empower and not to compensate the frustrating missing peace that makes online business an hell :-)

Thanks Gurucan ! (they also matches the colors of my brand, so I won't need a white label app :-) ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

There are a few things still missing but Nothing I car really say I dislike.

At the moment, you can choose only one type of payment (stripe or PayPal) and not both at the same time.

But they are workin on it :-)

Another thing is that embedded video from services not yet integrated are not visible on the mobile app.

But the roadmap is solid and they seems to be really serious about developing an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"time to be a guru"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gurucan?

Multiple unique features such as built-in webinar platform, landing page, emails, memberships, video hosting and on top of everything else - Responsive apps for both iOS and Android Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gurucan?

Not cons per se, but i believe this is the same with every other tool in this segment (LMS) - even though it has both PayPal and stripe as possible integrations, they only can be connected at a time. Having the option to have multiple gateways for students from different countries would have been awesome as many places don't have PayPal or stripe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
