The developers did a great job.

If one has to manage courses or an online school it is a must have.

It has excellent support, the servers are very fast, and the app is extremely useful.

A plus of this platform is the possibility of doing webinars.

I don't like the possibility that the platform is limited.

In the sense that I would like more HTML control in what I publish or in emails.

The footer is not editable and you cannot add corporate data clearly visible in it.

This is a great imitation, I hope they solve the problem.

Payments are another problem.

They are limited to paypal OR stripe.

You can get around this by creating a page with other payment methods, but it can't be linked.

Update:

A client of mine has problems viewing videos both in the app and in the web version.

I think it's a problem with videos that are too long and heavy and the server can't handle them.

Also, sometimes the site stays down for a few hours.

Finally: over time they have not made any improvements.

This platform is stable, intuitive, and integrates into my existing architecture. I was so amazing when my entire Kajabi course library was so easy to import. From there, it was just a few tweaks with the block editor and I was ready to go. In under an hour! That's amazing. A group feature would be a nice addition to the chats for engagement. Chats can sometimes feel like a wall of text and connections can get lost. Other than that though, I really don't have any issues, concerns, or complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the way they guide you through set up. And there is so many features which is great including the mobile app. You can upload and host a whole lot of different types of content from images to articles and videos, pdfs even meal plans. You can create tests. There's so much you can do. I'm so excited to be on board and create my first course which will be free. You can use it for free and paid courses which is fantastic. A few issues. One is the question of security with some types of content. They really need to get on fixing that. Also my domain name is my username which I didn't know was going to be the case or I would have chosen a different name. Lastly if you want to translate your content you need a certified translator. It's not just any learning management system but a full suite of tools like a mobile app for learning things on the go, a built in CRM, Products Management for your courses, webinars, articles, and challenges, Offers or upsells management, marketing automations, and so much more being built inside the platform!

You can quickly create courses in a convenient way. And the control you have over building/ laying out your content is mind blowing!!! No code needed

The quiz section has a 200 character limit which is too low for.

Another thing that was nearly a deal-breaker, is ...

"If your customer cancels their subscription and you use stripe..... you need to log into Stripe and manually cancel it, or else they will continue to be charged" but still lose access. That's the worst.

* No lesson/course import - only copy & paste. The text doesn't format when pasted. You just get one long paragraph.

*I use my own landing page but I would like to be able to customize the signup and login pages and direct my learners straight to these pages (from my landing page).

*There are still some small slowness here and there and the page loading speed is not as fast as I would like. Also, some functions are missing to replace a funnel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have created membership sites in many different platforms and I can say unequivocally that GuruCan is the most impressive, easy to set up platform that I've ever used.

I already have content created, and so I was able to get a membership site up and running in under an hour.

This platform is going to be a valuable addition to my business, the mobile App is very easy to use and will increase my ability to get contents in front of my clients.

So far, customer support has been very responsive and helpful. I have not experienced the slow load times that others have mentioned Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is very attractive with colour customization options along with a dark mode option.

You can set up a sales page for your product very easily.

They have a mobile app for both android and ios users which helps with making the courses more accessible.

You can add a subscription plan, set a duration for course access.

They have marketing automation that can send push notifications to students.

I like that you can create custom chats and even make the chat a paid feature to keep it exclusive for VIP customers.

Currently, you cannot provide both paypal and stripe payment options to the customer, it only allows to use one payment option at a time.

Cannot add a payment plan option to my products.

The video embed only works for the web app as of now.

In March 2021 they had a lot on their roadmap such as improvement in integrations (such as with sendfox for mailing) and UI (such as the ability to view the bandwidth consumption ) but they have been very slow on delivering and many features are still awaited. The functionality is there. It is really already a full offering and I look forward to the new UI UX as they grow. The service is affordable and they seem to be very friendly they people who own and run the company. Not only that, they listen to the userbase and they understand what tools we need to help us with getting the message out. I have high confidence in their expertise and leadership. - I'm still learning how to work the landing pages. Not super intuitive to me, but I think I need to play with the platform a bit more. Not a deal-breaker, but could be more straightforward.
