"Effortless Knowledge Management with Powerful Workflow Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

What I like best about Guru is that it keeps all important information organized and easily accessible with its card-based system. The browser extension is extremely helpful because it answers directly into your workflow, whether you're using Slack, email, or your CRM. The verification workflow is another strong feature; it ensures every piece of knowledge is kept up to date by assigning experts who can verify content at regular intervals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

What I dislike is that Guru can feel complex for new users. Understanding collections, boards, and card permissions takes some time. For large teams, managing verification tasks can also become overwhelming if a lot of content gets outdated at once. The interface is full of features, which is helpful, but sometimes feels busy for simple tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Knowledge Sharing Platform, Optimal Team Alignment"
4/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I like how easy Guru makes it to keep everyone on the same page and reduce the back-and-forth questions. It helps my team work faster with more clarity and consistency. I also appreciate that it keeps everything in one central place for updates and internal information, which helps keep my team aligned and reduces confusion. The initial setup was also very easy. What do you dislike about Guru?

One thing that can be improved is in regards to search results within Guru. If they can be more precise when there are similar documents and repeated topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Team Collaboration and Intuitive Navigation"
5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

The clean and simple profile view makes it easy to understand who someone is and what they're working on. Centralized access to team information, documentation, and onboarding content. Easy navigation between pages like Home, Tasks, Chat, and AI Agent Center. Encourage knowledge sharing across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

Some profile sections (teams, manager, working hours) require manual updates, which may be skipped by users. Content discovery can depend heavily on how well pages are organized and maintained. Limited customization in profile layout compared to fully customizable wiki tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Our sales teams love Guru - feedback has been overwhelmingly positive"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I manage all the presentation and organization of our sales and marketing collateral on Guru, and my organization uses it for many cross-departmental functions as well. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from our sales reps. The ability to customize our own departmental landing page has been helpful. The analytics are awesome. Permissions let you easily decide who can review and update cards, and who can see them. The AI functionality is next-level and with the new chat feature it's been amazing to help me ensure information is easy to find and accurate for our sales teams. Overall, I think Guru is doing an amazing job staying ahead of the curve. The webinars they host are very helpful and it feels like the company really cares. What do you dislike about Guru?

Card layouts are somewhat limited compared to other content management platforms I have used so this is my biggest gripe. A lot of people don't realize that there is a sidebar you can toggle for deep links to sections, because its not extremely obvious, so if you have a card with a lot of content, people don't realize they can go there rather than scrolling forever. Having a really nice consolidated layout with graphics can be tricky. For instance, sometimes I just want to embed a video but I can only do it from some sources, so I have to create a screenshot that links to the video, and then sometimes the screenshots do not load. "User-Friendly and Customizable, But Needs Some Tweaks"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I like a lot about Guru, especially the general look / vibe and the overall user experience. I find it relatively user-friendly, which makes it easier for our team to navigate. The ability to customize things, like the homepage or tagging items in searches, really stands out to me. It just looks nice for teams and helps ensure everyone knows exactly where to go to access the information they need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

I think there's some improvements needed with some of their newer functionalities. When I think about pages, that's something that should pull into the search and would allow for an easier experience. There's certain features and functionality when it comes to things like designs and being able to add or edit cards in a certain way. Additionally wish there was more flexibility to add / edit certain announcement notifications, and the reporting / analytics were more robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Search and Quick Insights with Guru"
4.5/5

I like how easy it is to search for some information with Guru. I also enjoy the fast, quick questions we can do, like with the EA dot AI feature on Guru, which makes the process very easy for me. I like asking them for proofing questions that bring me very easy information to use. The AI makes it quick to find the information I need at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Verified Knowledge, Instant Accessibility"
4/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I love the "Verified" checkmark in Guru because it provides psychological safety. It allows me to trust the information without second-guessing, saving mental energy and preventing unnecessary conversations. I also really like the Browser Extension, which embodies the "Anti-Tab" philosophy by bringing knowledge to where I am without interrupting my workflow. It's incredibly helpful during high-pressure tasks like customer support chats or complex proposal writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

The 'Maintenance Tax' is a bit of a hassle for me. Guru isn't a 'set-it-and-forget-it' kind of tool. It needs our subject matter experts to be on top of verifying information regularly, and if they're busy, the verification notifications can get overwhelming. Seeing too many 'Unverified' cards makes it hard to trust the tool, so it's important to have a strong culture of documentation. Also, I find the basic text editor in Guru pretty limited. It's not as robust as Google Docs or Notion, so formatting, especially for complex layouts or deeply nested tables, can be a struggle. It's mainly for bite-sized info, which isn't ideal for longer, detailed documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Information Access with Guru"
5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I like using Guru because it provides a quicker and more reliable way to access company product information and any updates on policies. The chat box feature and the search feature are particularly handy because I can type what I need, and it brings up everything related to my query. The easy accessibility is crucial for me, ensuring that we provide our customers with accurate information in a timely manner. I also found the setup to be very easy to use, with everyone catching on in minutes. I love Guru. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Ultimate Source of Truth and Efficient Integration Hub"
5/5
What do you like best about Guru?

I love how Guru acts as the source of truth for all company information, making it our internal wiki and enterprise search to easily find needed data. I really appreciate how it allows us to create and search content efficiently, which saves us tons of time by reducing the need for answering individual questions on Slack. The integrations are particularly valuable, allowing Guru to connect with a wide range of other tools, like Notion, Zendesk, Google Drive, Slack, and HubSpot, making it much more versatile than other internal wikis. Setting up Guru was very easy; migrating content from Notion and Google Drive took about an hour, with only a little QA needed afterward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Guru?

Some UI changes would be nice such as the ability to view Guru cards not as a pop-out. A lot of our team doesn't love the pop-out structure. More rich text editing features would be nice too, like better customization of charts/tables within Guru cards. Also, more customization of the AI features, i.e., creating a source hierarchy or natural language AI training prompts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
