I use Gumlet for online courses and a hybrid format that consists of a mix of Zoom live streaming and watching videos together. Videos shared over Zoom are completely unusable for us β everything comes through ultra-pixelated and choppy.
With Gumlet, I can upload videos that even work in 4K, and everyone automatically gets the quality that their own internet connection can handle. That makes a huge difference.
For us, it is particularly important that audio always remains stable and the video runs synchronously for everyone, because we continue in the paused Zoom call afterwards. This works perfectly with Gumlet and has really saved our lives. π
I also find it great that the videos start without loading time β compared to our LMS, it's like night and day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For live streaming, it would be great if there were permanent streams. Currently, the stream is automatically set to inactive and archived 30 minutes after I turn off the stream in OBS. As a result, I have to create a new stream for each event and set it up again in OBS β this is tedious and time-consuming. But this topic is at the top of the development pipeline, so I'm looking forward to when it's available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
