The biggest drawback is that ClaimCenter can feel rigid — the system doesn’t always adapt well to unique claim scenarios, and certain fields or workflows are locked down in ways that slow you down.

ClaimCenter organizes all things claims-handling related in one central location allowing for more claim rep efficiencies and less time spent searching for claims information or signing into other systems to support claims work.

Sometimes, the design isn't intuitive and with so much content within the system, it can be hard to find one specific thing when working a claim due to all the pages, tabs, and subtabs.

ClaimCenter is providing a higher ease of use experience for claims reps within my organization and is allowing for a simpler, faster integration process with products and services that the claims reps need to complete their work.

Guidewire ClaimCenter already has all the basics for claim handling.  For the best implementation experience, I suggest keeping a lean mindset.  Guidewire gives you almost everything you need without too much customization.   With each new line of business we bring to Guidewire ClaimCenter, we focus more and more on less is more, which leads to a much faster speed to market.

**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

There are a few out of the box processes that are difficult to customize.   This is with good reason, so it is important to understand when working on some of the black box functionalities what your options are.

**What problems is Guidewire ClaimCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidewire ClaimCenter allows us to focus on the most important aspects of handling a claim.   With the GW Marketplace, we are able to work with external partners to easily integrate processes like state reporting, electronic payments, salvage and vehicle rentals.

**What do you like best about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

ClaimCenter provides a lot of customizable features that allow multiple lines of business to be handled in the same platform.    It's helpful that it's widely used because new hires with prior experience are able to rapidly learn to use our instance of it.   However, for inexperienced users, especialy those coming form legacy systems, the learning curve can be steep.

Also, since the ecosystem is large and growing, we've been able to implement new features quickly.   Overall, it's a good system and most users across the spectrum like the features it provides.

**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

ClaimCenter is complex and should be customized carefully.    Adjusters sometimes quickly get overwhelmed with 'Activity Patterns' so any newly created and automatically triggered patterns should be considered thoroughly.

Also, one of the most frequent user complaints we get is that ClaimCenter does not allow a user to have multiple sessions open at the same time.   Finally, we found the Bulk Processing of invoices to suffer from occasional performance issues.

ClaimCenter helps us have one system for all lines of busines.

Guidewire allows us to leverage world class claim technology tools to accelerate our claims transformation program. Providing solutions for various LOB's an decreasing time to market for new capabilities. Guidewire support teams are top tier when issues do arise, and we feel supported when we find gaps between our business needs and the Guidewide solution. Guidewire is user friendly and intuitive which helps decrease the amount of training required of our users.

**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

Overall my experience with Guidewire has been positive. I would say the challenges we face with Guidewire are the mandatory upgrades, and partial workflow support for entities issues like SIU and Coverage in Question.

**What problems is Guidewire ClaimCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Guidewire is enabling us to scale from using multiple applications, to a single application for all claims handling needs. This in turn will improve our cycle time, file handle efficiency all of which play a direct role in our KPIs and expense management strategies.

Would like some more built-in work comp features and performance test that take into account the long tailed work comp claims that can have thousands of documents, transactions, and notes over the life of the claim.

ClaimCenter has been in use for a number of years to manage a large volume of claims across multiple lines of business.
We use Agile methods and have found the platform facilites a higher volume change.
There has been an increase in the number of integrations with internal and external services which greatly improves the flow of information in the claims lifecycle.

We are looking forward to the evolution of the GW product.  This will see key features being split out from the core product which will allow us to be even more Agile and make changes that do not require a full application deployment.

I really like how flexible the system is.  There really hasn't been a business requirement we haven't been able to fullfill.  This is a very configurable system which makes development easy.

Deciding on the best architecture to use to develop what you want is sometimes a challenge.  With mutiple options possible it makes that decision making a little tougher.

ClaimCenter is very intuitive and easy to use. If you don't know how to do something, you can figure it out with ease.

Some things are a little quirky. The contacts screen can get a little complicated and our organization has had some issues with the built in assignment manager.

Integrates all of the features that are needed for claims processing. Streamlines the process driving the flow of the next steps of the claim process.

Seems set up more for the physical damage side and not necessarily for the casualty adjuster.

We have had the company make multiple modifications to the software since we integrated it.  So it is still customazible or you cause it as is.

Full switch from our  own software to this out of the box version.  We have a more streamlined process.It is driving customer satisfaction

**What do you like best about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

Easy to use Guidewire Claimcenter functionality to process claims .
Security features of Guidewire Claimcenter works best when there are hundreds of users using the Guidewire application.
Reporting functionality in Guidewire provides is very handy when you want to generate reports realtime and with very less development effort involved.
Integration of Guidewire with the other third party vendors is very effective .
Integrations with other Broker application. 

Security of the data in the application.


**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

Configuration of Guidewire Claimcenter needs very specialised skills in Gosu language.
Claimcenter Data model is not very easy to absorb when it comes to Migrating existing data in Guidewire.
Claimcenter support very limited relation databases like Microsoft SQL server , Oracle etc . .
Workers comp claims administration is not very streamlined in claim center. 


**Recommendations to others considering Guidewire ClaimCenter:**

Guidewire Claimcenter works best for the Property and Casualty and especially Workers Comp claims.
Claimcenter is expensive but streamlined the claims processing to very high extent. 

**What problems is Guidewire ClaimCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Guidewire for the Property and Claims administration.
Workers Comp claims administration is very useful in Guidewire Claimcenter.
Claims processing is efficient and there is time and money savings using claims center. 
Application downtime in claims centre is reduced.
ClaimCenter provides efficiencies in handling insurance claims and through its intuitive interface reduces clicks and processing time for documentation and financial transactions.

The assignment and workload balancing tool are ineffective and unreliable.

Build a comprehensive assignment logic tool that would allow us to effectively balance workload across various departments and associates. 

**What problems is Guidewire ClaimCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClaimCenter allowed us to go from operating in 4 different claims systems down to one. The cost savings of not having to maintain multiple systems was huge.

Claim Center is very easy to use and intuitive. It is very easy to onboard a new associate with this platform. It also has very robust data collection capabilities and is highly customizable for differing business needs. Claim Center is also available in several languages.

Development can sometimes take time and the system needs to be built out in order for it to reach its full potential.

Claim Center IDE: Normal IDE for code development. Lacks many features and plugins available in Eclipse.

Guidewire makes the claims handling process so much simpler and smoother. 

**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

Takes a while to learn where all of the fields are. You have to set up parties correctly from the start of the claim or it could be a big fiasco when paying or closing.

Claims process handling. Less busy work and higher efficiency. Reduced costs.

I liked the emailing function the best - being able to send directly from the system and have them logged in the file. 

**What do you dislike about Guidewire ClaimCenter?**

From a reporting perspective, the batching of data in the system became an issue when I moved to the administrative side of claims. 

**What problems is Guidewire ClaimCenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very easy to use system for those not very comfortable utilizing a computer. Better than previous claims system the company had utilized previously.

I do not appreciate how slow it becomes when there are many users and/or the software ages.
