A lot of the features are not user friendly - logging in/adding guides can be difficult for our users. The backend is circuitous, publishing is complicated and in multiple places. UI for admins isn't streamlined. Nothing is easy like it should be with manipulation of different users and groups. Thank you for taking the time to write a review and great job thinking about the efficient flow of accessing information in minimal taps. Info statements can be posted in a variety of ways. If you want a single item directly on the menu of your guide, you can create a one-tap menu item using a Custom List. This allows you to put a single Custom List item on the menu rather than an entire list with only one item inside—perfect for what you're describing. Alternative options would be to send a push notification to users, post on the Interact feed, or add Quick Info to your home screen. There are also a few options for posting images. Photo Albums work well when you want to categorize images since you can have multiple. However, a great option is to include the Interact feature along with a Photo Album so that users can share images and comments along with allowing people to like and comment. Maybe it did what it's supposed to be but kinda clunky, basic and caged. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Guidebook? BAD UI/UX, people won't find easily the log in button. counter-intuitive, terrible customer service, data from surveys were so RAW and unorganized. They didn't consider customer feedbacks. we used them for two years in an event but they didn't literally changed.They put down early our event immediately it finishes, which is a major let down unlike other providers we can still update after the event as we are doing after event surveys/feedbacks. I remember calling with their representative and she was from australia. she was literally making a lot of clicking sounds and seems to be chewing a gum. Not professional. and this is really a BIG LET DOWN: before the event, they switched dedicated customer rep to assist us. kind of unethical for us, doing this before the event. they're difficult to reach out to also. Recommendations to others considering Guidebook: NO. maybe for small events but this ain't going anywhere with their prices. their prices can get a good provider. their price are same as crowdcompass.
