Full featured wallet that is Easy to use. Not in love with the backup system. **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Dan S. | Owner / Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2021 **What do you like best about Guarda Wallet?** I am a big fan of the layout. Many wallets show coins and tokens without clearly expressing how they are related to each other. With Guarda, there is a tiered type of interface, and tokens are listed as subsections under the coin whose blockchain they run on. This makes it significantly easier to understand which USDT I am interacting with, whether it be TRX, ERC20, or OMNI. I don't have to hunt for this information, and it is clearly displayed and easy to understand. **What do you dislike about Guarda Wallet?** The backup function feels convoluted. It has my export a large txt file. This file plus my password is supposed to be able to restore my wallet. Unfortunately the one time I needed to restore my wallet using this function, it gave me an error and said that my backup file was corrupt or my password was incorrect. I am quite certain the password I provided was right, so I am not sure what went wrong. Luckily I had the mnemonic seed phrase from when I used this wallet in a different application and was able to use that to add my wallet to Guarda rather than do a restore. **Recommendations to others considering Guarda Wallet:** Guarda wallet is a great option for crypto-wallets. My biggest advice would be to make sure you have either the private key or seed phrase for your wallet. Had I used Guarda without having my private key, I could've been in a bad situation when restoring my wallet with their backup failure. I'm not sure if Guarda or my PC is to blame for the backup becoming corrupt, but I am sure that keeping a secure copy of your private key is the best practice no matter which crypto wallet you decide to use. **What problems is Guarda Wallet solving and how is that benefiting you?** I found a lot of use in the ability to import a wallet using a seed phrase. I used this function for about five wallets, and it worked great. It is allowing me to consolidate multiple smaller wallets into one application. Some of these wallets I did not use often, and because I can easily see all of them in Guarda, I have been able to use some funds that I otherwise would not have realized I had. This also allowed me to delete multiple other wallet apps from my PC and phone. I cherish free space and available RAM, and the fewer apps I have to use, the better.
