It is often hard to find tools that have these built-in. The built-in transformation layer is quite simple and easy to use. **What do you dislike about Grow.com?** Some key basic features which I don't understand with how much effort has been put into the product can be missed. Multiple filters on dashboards being able to sort on multiple fields and have it work Row-level security Slow support turn around and communication **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been trying to visualize our business's data to give the executive team the ability to investigate the data we are capturing internally. Great platform for businesses with consistent data needs **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2019 **What do you like best about Grow.com?** The platform is fairly turnkey, and the support teams are pretty great at responding quickly to inquiries and helping you solve how to join data to present it in a meaningful way. It's an amazing stopgap for companies that are small to medium sized that don't currently store than own data in a data warehouse or have access to the more advanced report building features of GA360 and Google Query. **What do you dislike about Grow.com?** If you need custom reports on a consistent basis, the platform isn't always well suited depending on how much information you need to edit. We actually moved into a template system, but because Grow is evolving their platform so quickly, we're finding that things increasingly break. It can also be a little slow at peak times if you're not storing items in their data warehouse. A lot of our data happens to fall into that category, but it's strictly because there would be a sizable effort to convert our templates over to that new format that wasn't available when we first became a customer. **Recommendations to others considering Grow.com:** If you need to move behind manually compiling reports, and your reporting needs are fairly consistent, then this product is fantastic. If you need custom reporting for very specific pages that launch on a fairly frequent basis, then it may not be for you. But they do have template options available for certain account tiers, so it really just depends on how specific your needs are. **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grow helped us almost instantaneously deliver more meaningful updates at a much faster pace to our wider teams. The visibility we gained on items like campaign performance and individual page traffic really helped us guide big decisions and a much faster clip than we had been able to before. We were in a major growth mode and had outgrown our manual report pulls, and this solved this problem in a major way. ### 7. Getting data in front of our employees makes them perform better. **What do you dislike about Grow.com?** Lack of API's to integrate custom data connector(s). Lack of Apple TV Application to show dashboards on TV's in the office. Data transformations constantly break. Cost is higher than Power BI and other services. Lack of Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. **Recommendations to others considering Grow.com:** No Recommendations at this time. **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Getting KPI's in front of our employees makes them perform better. If I need help, I have to submit a ticket or schedule a call with my account manager. It delays how long it takes to get answers or fix errors. **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing our clients with a good-looking reporting dashboard helps them get a glimpse into what our automation system is doing for them. ### 9. The design is very clean and elegant. GROW can connect to just about any tool you would need. The customer support is fantastic. It was easy to get up and running. The connections to Google products are very stable and seem to work the best. We also liked that it connects to Act-On as there aren't too many BI tools that will connect to Act-On. **What do you dislike about Grow.com?** The API needs some work as it tends to lose connection. For complex metric building, you need to know SQL. The filtering system could be quite cumbersome. Sometimes you'd want to filter with an AND instead of an OR. We made the mistake of pushing the dashboard out to our clients when the dashboards just were not ready for primetime. When the metric loses connectivity, it displays a big "!" in the corner. Clients don't like to see those big "!". Also, we build a lot of metrics that require multiple connections. We would track leads through our marketing automation tool, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Content Syndication, AdRoll and Email. Combining all these tools to create a Master Cost per Lead Acquisition required me to learn SQL. I wasn't expecting to have to learn SQL, but here we are. Plus, it meant that me, myself and I were the only ones who could manage the platform and create dashboards. **Recommendations to others considering Grow.com:** Sign up for the trial and make sure you build a lot of metrics. Check it every day. Make sure it maintains its connectivity. **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** GROW helps visualize our funnel. We can track marketing qualified leads as they become sales qualified leads. ### 10. This makes it easy. Also I like the reusable datasource connections. **What do you dislike about Grow.com?** Confusing interfaces at the more detailed levels. Not clear how to do simple things like add a $ to an axis label. Need support for multi-line graph and slope charts. **Recommendations to others considering Grow.com:** Cheaper and faster than creating your own KPI's using open source software. A little tricky to get the hang of, but once you understand it, can work well for basic KPI. Their support staff is fantastic. Perhaps a little overpriced. **What problems is Grow.com solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making various analytics consumable and actionable.
