My experience with the Groundswell platform has been exceptional. The user interface is highly intuitive, making everything from onboarding to daily tasks smooth and enjoyable. We have not experienced any downside of using Groundswell at this time.

Groundswell allowed us to rapidly expand our employee matching program and employee gift program. This has been a tremendous benefit to the firm and our associates.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

I like how easy the mobile application and desktop interface are to navigate. It has made automating and tracking my charitable giving much more efficient. I also feel that our company's use of Groundswell has motivated even more philanthropy within our team, too.  The customer service has also been outstanding.

Nothing that I can think of at the moment. Groundswell has been a phenomenal benefit provided by my employer that I enjoy utilizing!

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

The service level at Groundswell is unmatched. The team is incredibly responsive and made the transition of both our volunteer platform and grants platform seamless. Their team has been incredibly collaborative and has worked through all of our internal processes to get our programs up and running.  It's been a game changer having a partner that is willing to work with us on our unique needs for our grants and volunteer platforms.

During our initial months using Groundswell, we haven't found anything to dislike.

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given our limited bandwidth, it was essential for our volunteerism and grants platforms to be as straightforward as possible for our team. Groundswell's exceptional service has minimized the time we need to spend on backend tasks, freeing us up to focus more on our strategic priorities. Our transition to the platform took less of our time than the maintenance of our previous platform!

As we’ve spent more time on Groundswell, we’ve noticed an added benefit we didn’t expect: speed. Our team members are hearing from the charities they support, who have mentioned how much they value receiving funds more quickly through Groundswell compared to other platforms. That faster delivery is helping them put donations to work sooner.

I think if they continue to integrate with other systems, that could be amazing.

Our entire implementation process was great from the beginning.  With a supportive specialist that was willing to bring our ideas to engineering and turn them into life, Groundswell creates products that best support company needs.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

As the product was so new, there were tweaks in functionality that needed to be made.  However, they were made!  Just another testament to the forward-thinking of Groundswell.

Our biggest gap to fill is an associate assistance program.  They have been so thorough in the design of that program.

No, not at this time. Everything works just fine in my opinion.

I don't really need to track my donations to charities anymore as I just upload volunteer hours or put $ directly in my account, it gets matched instantly and I direct the donations accordingly.

Groundswell is a hub for all charitable giving functions.  It allows a single location where all workstreams are housed.  The support staff is the gold standard and the teams and products are adapted to the organizations needs.

Groundswell's products help us house, track and execute volunteering, provides the platform  and manages our employee assistance fund, give us a central CRM database and will provide the platform for our external grants programs.

The VolunteerMatch integration has been especially valuable, allowing our distributed teams to easily find opportunities based on location and cause. Features like segments and campaigns help unify our teams and encourage community engagement. Additionally, the platform’s intuitive design empowers more volunteers to create and share their own opportunities.

We encountered some confusion during the initial signup process, which we attribute to the learning curve of adopting a new platform.

Groundswell has been a game changer for our company’s giving strategy. The contracting and setup process was refreshingly simple, and their team made every step clear and easy. What has stood out most for us is the grantmaking feature. It has saved my team countless hours and eliminated the frustration that often comes with manual processes. Groundswell is solving the problem of complexity and fragmentation in employee giving and grantmaking. Instead of stitching together multiple tools or dealing with clunky processes, their platform keeps everything in one place and makes it easy to manage. The grantmaking feature alone has saved my team significant time and frustration, replacing what used to be a manual and error-prone process with a clean and efficient system.

I also appreciate that Groundswell has built their solution from the ground up rather than acquiring and merging different platforms. That approach aligns with my company’s “build it rather than buy it” mentality and makes the experience much more seamless. It keeps the data transparent, the reporting clear, and the support consistent.

Groundswell has made the process of distributing grants and managing employee matches straightforward and transparent. Since using it, we have significantly shortened our grant distribution timelines by 98% and cut down the administrative hours required to oversee annual grants by 93%. The results have been excellent!

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

I haven't encountered any downsides so far. The platform operates efficiently, and the partnership has proven to be effective.

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Groundswell, managing our grants and employee-matched benefits required a significant investment of time and involved many team members. Every step, from vetting organizations to making payments and tracking progress, was both complicated and lengthy. Since adopting Groundswell, we're able to verify non-profits, process payments, and monitor outcomes with just a few clicks. Tasks that used to take us weeks can now be completed in only a few minutes.

My employer does matches.  Groundswell does the match automatically, so I don't need to submit a form for each contribution.  And related is that it does the donations (and contributions) on a monthly basis so I don't need to do so.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

Honestly, other than some difficulty recently figuring out how to cancel a recurring donation, I haven't  had any problems or anything to dislike

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I contribute to several places and (as noted above) can get matching funds from my employer.  Making that automatic on a recurring basis saves me time and effort.

The speed of implementation: How smooth and fast the setup was—it didn’t drag on like so many other tech rollouts.

Ease of use: The platform is simple and intuitive, making it easy for your team to adopt.

Partnership approach: From your first conversation with Jake through today, they’ve worked to make the relationship collaborative and fair.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

I wish there were more built-in options for communicating directly with participants on my team. Right now, when I run a campaign, it’s on me to send everything out. It would be really helpful to have more automation or customizable settings for what gets sent, so there’s one less thing for me to manage.

Groundswell makes it easy for our organization to support causes in a way that is streamlined, transparent, and engaging for our team. It takes the complexity out of managing charitable giving and campaigns, and the platform ensures everything runs smoothly from start to finish. **What do you like best about Groundswell?**

The DAF model for employee giving and volunteering, matched by the company, provides a user-friendly interface (and mobile app) that is sleek and future-forward. Our previous system had multiple screens and acceptances required and Groundswell is one-click into a very intuitive platform to search and engage with organizations. The large number of eligible charities further streamlined the experience for employees. The Groundswell team is responsive, professional, and eager to innovate to solve any issue with integration and roll-out. They have been able to customize to meet our company's policies and are at the forefront of future in-demand offerings.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

Nothing that I dislike. It is such an improvement. We are still working to expedite vetting of international charities and exploring other solutions but that is an issue with any product.

Groundswell is providing a user-friendly interface for employee giving, volunteering, and company matching. It provides ease of administration and provides employees with an account that they can take with them, even after leaving the company.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

We are thrilled to partner with Groundswell. At their core, they have a remarkable group of people who are dedicated to making 'giving' and grant-making easy. Their platform makes it easy to give and their team is responsive to ideas and suggestions on how we can drive a culture of giving and engagement with our employees. All donations are distributed within 24 hours. The tool is very easy to use and we love how we can manage our volunteering events and manage it through the Groundswell app.

Groundswell is a four-year-old company and growing swiftly -- a testament to the product-market fit that they have brought forth with their platform. Like anything with nascent software tools, there are things that can be improved along the way. We actually prefer to work with them through this journey, as we want to increase and grow our culture of giving. They have proven to be a terrific partner.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

I love that we can match our employees donations instantly. This is a total 180 to what we were doing before where employees made their donation and then submitted for reimbursement for half of it... this is such a better experience overall. I love our ability to spotlight certain causes and highlight non-profits our team has volunteered at in person really helps to connect alll of the dots of our growing CSR program.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

I'd love to see some more integration with Slack so we can push out spotlights or reminders there but from what I hear that may already be in the works! Groundswell continues to innovate.

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant donation matching and facilitation of our annual donation matching policy. Freeing up space for our accounting team who previously spent a ton of time trying to reconcile donations submitted through expense reimbursement.

We're excited to see some additional features as the product grows, like employees being able to view their own volunteer hours, but that would simply be a nice to have for an already slick product.

As a relatively new platform, they continue to expand thier capabilities and modules.  We are anxious and excited for them to expand their capabilities to other types of corporate giving beyond donation and volunteer matching.

They are solving the cumbersome, expensive and slow process of employee donation matching and volunteer tracking.  They are also eliminating the burden of an employer vetting and processing payments to nonprofits. Groundswell has been a breath of fresh air  in meeting our needs and then some. It’s been a been a simple and easy solution for our diverse workforce from corporate to warehouse staff. Groundswell has helped us solve a number of obstacles we’ve had within our internal community engagement programs for team members: #1 Groundswell has provided a way for us to easily connect to all team members. #2 By doing so, we have also been able to succinctly and efficiently communicate our numerous, complex programs across the organization #3 Drastically reduced the number of hours spent on administration while eliminating manual tracking and check donations to getting the money to our nonprofit partners who can instantly put it to work. #4 The Groundswell team has been a great though partner in this work. Going so far as listening to us from the beginning when we communicated the critical need for volunteer hour logging and they went and built it.

A relative newcomer to the space, Groundswell has been open to customer feedback and has done a good job evolving its product based on our requests & feedback. The support team is quick to answer questions and always open to new ideas. It's helpful that they receive suggestions from all their customers, improving our collective experience with the product.

Again, as a relative newcomer, they might not have all the offerings available immediately or currently so some patience is required. But, thus far, there haven't been any must-have features lacking.

First of all, the customer service has been top notch!  They are extremely responsive and always avaliable to assist our employees with their questions. The Groundswell platform is really easy to use which was a plus in getting our employees adapted to using a new method.  Change is never easy, but with over 4,000 employees at my company; I would say it has been pretty seamless.   The Groundswell reps are also willing to jump on a call to clear up any confusion that I may have as an admin.  
Switching to this new way of donations has been a great experience for OneDigital!  We are VERY pleased with the results.  Thank you for being amazing at what you do!

I have contributed to many organizations over the years and most of my employers have had some sort of match program. It has always been such a big hassle to get the match submitted. I have worked for very large organizations of 50k employees down to 4,000 employees. They have always been hard to work with. I love that Groundswell is so super eacy and now my contribution will be higher because they will actually get the match. I know this will lead to a better impact to the organizations out there that need our contributions.

I did not find anything I disliked.  It was super easy and intuitive.

It is making it easier to actually maximize the contribution you want to give to an organization. As an employee who receives the benefit of having my employer match my contribution, this is a no brainer. I am sure there are millions of dollars lost in company matching because employees give up. I ran a campagin for LLS a few years ago and it took me hours and hours to follow up with my donors to make sure they got their company match submitted. This program would have helped me save time but more importantly- provided more dollars to non profits that need it for their cause.

The platform is extremely easy to use and I think that's why we've had such a strong adoption rate with our team. Plus, the app is fun! But, honestly, the best part has been the customer support. Any time we've needed assistance the Groundswell team has responded with urgency and the communication has been superb. They are patient and helpful - genuinely interested in hearing what could be better about the experience and then promptly solving for any issues with creative solutions. It's clear they are constantly innovating to improve their product.

Giving away money has never been so convenient or easy.  I love the fact that I simply  click a few buttons and my donation is made.  And, if I need recommendations for organizations or causes I may not be aware of (particularly those impacted by recent national disasters), Groundswell is always a step ahead with on-point options. 

Groundswell's customer support is also top-notch. As a comany administrator, I had a few issues at the start of our implementation, but Groundswell was quick to respond, act and find a solution to my problem.

Our firm had a great matching program and passionate associates, the challenge was we were missing a painless way to link those together in an effective way.  That's just one of the ways Groundswell shines. 
The pilot and implementation was straightforward to integrate with our culture and very well received and we have seen continued adoption since day 1.  The mobile app features make it a few clicks for our staff to go from wanting to support a nonprofit to a donation.  Having your personal "Foundation" making an impact is very empowering!  They have fanatical support that has anticipated many of our questions as we expand the system globally.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

This may sound like a surprise, the first thing that comes to mind is that we regret are the years that we spent managing this matching process manually before we were able to implement the Groundswell solution.  There have been some folks that may in the future would like to invest the funds while it awaits its distribution.

The "speed to give" has been the challenge for our firm.  Our corporate matching programs, while generous, were high touch with administrivia.  Our prior process required for the organization receiving the funds to be known to the firm and the matching was done AFTER the associate intention was made.  The best part is that Groundswell flips the script and the firms match happens before, and the associate's election is not known to the firm.

Our company has has a philanthropic strategy and commitment for years. But, in joining forces with Groundswell, we were able to redirect the corporate decision making on where our donations were made and put it in the hands of our team members.  This changed the whole team's perspective on our CSR commitments; many team members expressed such gratitude in allowing them to have a say in this process and for allowing the causes that mean the most to them benefit from our donations.

I can't say there is anything I dislike about the organization or the platform.  A few of my original recommendations to our implementation team were actually addressed in system enhancements, which really demonstrated the organizations commitment to listening and continuous improvement.
The only comment here is that we have a large part of ourworkforce who do not have access to emails as part of their job.  A texting function might help improve this group's engagement in the program.

Groundswell has helped me to set charitable giving goals and work toward achieving them!  In the past I was much less organized in thinking about exactly where I wanted to contribute to make the most impact in my community.  I appreciate knowing that any of the charities listed are certified 501( c )3 organizations in good standing, so I have peace of mind that the dollars I contribute will support the causes I intend to. 
 
In the past I did not take advantage of my firm’s match, only because it seemed confusing and a bit onerous.  Now, I can take advantage of it with no additional effort on my part and my community receives the benefit.  Groundswell really has been a game-changer in helping me to clarify which causes I care most about and identifying the best organizations to support to make an impact.

We have been using Groundswell for nearly a year and have been very happy with the increase in volunteer engagement, the platform provided to employees and the ongoing level of service and support. Utilizing Groundswell for our existing charitable matching program successfully reduced the administrative requirements of managing matching activity, and implementation and onboarding was easy and straightforward. 

The Groundswell team is also continuously adding features and expanding the platform, and they have been responsive to feedback provided by our admins and users. On a personal level, each member of the team I have spoken with has been positive and eager to help. They are clearly doing something right and it's great to see their growth!

We started using Groundswell since around a year I enjoy several things about it. To begin with it's got a great team behind it that has run a very successful international nonprofit. So it knows nonprofits very well. They are very tech savvy and that has ensured they have a very easy UX. I would imagine the experience for the beneficiary organization is equally good. Beyond these, I like the ease of searching for 1000s of nonprofits from across the world. This has allowed me to track my donation goals. Our organization does a donation match, which means my impact is doubled! 

For the few times I've had to reach out for help, I've found their support being really good, even when I've reached out on weekends. They are very earnest about feedback and taking action. Tax filing is coming up soon and how cool is it that I have one place for my tax receipt.

"Dislike" is a strong word and I don't have anything that I dislike. I also know that they switched to using PayPal Grants which will mean donations will be processed in less than 5 business days.

Single place for all my donations allows me to track my goals effectively. The donation match allows me to double my impact. With the 1000s of nonprofits listed, I am even able to donate to my local community organizations.

Groundswell is remarkably efficient and easy to use, while having an outsized impact on employee engagment. What I appreciate the most is how it streamlines the entire process of corporate philanthropy and donation matching. It's incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for employees to engage and support causes they're passionate about. The initial setup and implementation process of Groundswell quite literally took minutes.

Nothing - it is truly the easiest platform I've ever used, and their customer success team is extremely responsive and helpful any time I've ever had a question.

Groundswell provides a one-stop seamless shop for us to match employee donations and make company-level chartitable donations. It also allows us to respond and provide support to organizations in real time when disasters occur, which allows the organizations that need funding the most in the moment receive funds quickly.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

We implimeted Groundswell with our team members and it has been flawless! The support Groundswell offers is handsdown the best customer service I have seen in a long time. We integrated payroll deductions with over 700 team members and it was customized and smooth because of the Groundswell Team. They are worth the investment.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

We are new to Groundswell  but have not found anything of concern. The team is willing to make the program work for our team. We love that they find solutions!

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently the volunteer hours logging is manual. So is the match that our company offers. We didn't have much participation because the old way was clunky. Now the volunteer hours are entered and automatically matched by our company. The team member quickly has money in their account to share with other non-profits they are passionate about.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

I really appreciated how easy it was to implement Groundswell. I've implemented a lot of tools in my time and Groundswell was very easy and straightforward. Within minutes I had loaded our employees (we chose to do a manual file for speed of launch) and set up a fundraising/matching campaign. The platform was very intuitive and they have many helpful resources available should you get stuck or have questions on the set up process. I also really appreciated that my account team was very proactive - they shared resources, checked in, offered timely suggestions, and even helped troubleshoot one random issue we had with an employee's offline donation. I could not have asked for better customer support.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

No downsides. Groundswell perfectly met our needs for our giving/matching campaign!

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had historically been running an annual company giving & matching campaign but we were tracking it manually. Groundswell enabled safe, secure, online donations; anonymity for employees; great reporting - number of employee donations and donation amounts by organization; the match was automatic and seamless - no more running calcs and making extra donations; and there was one easy to use platform for employees to find our chosen organizations and make their donations. Groundswell even sent a grant summary email to each donor at the end of the year so they could use it for their tax filing!

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

I love how Groundswell's platform makes it easier than ever to donate to the causes I care about and take full advantage of my company's employee matching program. Using their app, I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly fast and simple it made the process. The UX design is seamless, easily intergrates my company / funding info, and I love how it tracks your progress on meeting your annual giving goals - makes it a fun and satisfying process! Thanks to Groundswell, giving back to the organizations making an impact in my community has never been easier and I plan on using this platform for all future charitable donations.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

The only downside I can think of is that not enough people know about it! I wish all companies were aware of how great this platform is.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

The team's willingness to go above and beyond. Our implementation process was a lenghty one, mostly because of internal approvals. The team couldn't have been any more flexible and patient. Once implemented, the platform continues to surprise us with its user-friendliness, speed, reporting functionalities and customer service - second to none!

absolutely nothing! it's been a near perfect experience all around.

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

I like how Groundswell organized non profits into purpose/impact which helps with choosing where you want to focus your support.  I like how easy it is to see how much money I had available from my employer to donate and could easily navigate through the non profits I was considering to learn more about each before deciding which to support.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

It would be helpful to have more information visible up front about what will happen once you donate (no email until a full recap in January).   I found this information in the FAQs, but it can be confusing at first since typically when you donate you get a corresponding email to let you know the donation was successful.

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Groundswell was a great way for my employer to gift me funds to support some of my favorite non profits!  I really appreciated the freedom to give back to non profits of my choosing versus my employer donating to a non profit on behalf of me (which of course would also be appreciated because helping is helping!).

**What do you like best about Groundswell?**

Beyond the obvious benefits provided by the DAF structure, I found the platform to be a wonderful benefit to our team to provide support to causes as diverse as our team itself.  It is simple to use from the employee side and easy to adminsiter form an employer perspective.

**What do you dislike about Groundswell?**

Not a dislike, but I look forward to continued product developments as user experience evolves.

**What problems is Groundswell solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As on organization we were often asked to support various causes on behalf of our team.  Sometimes, team members and clients had differing views on this support.  Groundswell has provided an opportuinity for us to support all employees and give them the option to support what they see fit, without the firm having to be involved and "take a position"
