The Grooper data processing platform has been invaluable to our organization through our transition to a paperless environment. Instead of manually scanning/batching hundreds of contract documents each week, we email .pdf sets of documents to a designated emailbox. The system identifies, separates, and indexes the various documents with incredible speed, security, and, most importantly, increased accuracy. The Grooper system was difficult to set up for our particular organization. The transition was both time-consuming and labor-intensive due to the specific complexities of our internal IT structure. During the initial sale, we were also not advised that costly periodic upgrades are necessary approximately every 3 years. Others claim they can and have many similar tools, but Grooper has the best image processing we have found and with their multiple OCR engines and layering, they really figured it out.
