Gridly uses a highly intuitive, spreadsheet interface that anyone can understand immediately. Unlike a standard Google Sheet, it allows user to store strings right alongside their relevant digital assets in the exact same row. The app slows down significantly and can be incredibly laggy sometimes, especially when loading massive grids with thousands of rows or when multiple team members are translating in real-time. What problems is Gridly solving and how is that benefiting you? Massive time savings. Studios like Rovio and Playrix report drastically shortening their localization cycles. I like that you can export all the target languages to one file, which makes it easier to share. Creating separate grids for various strings like UI and VO is another feature I appreciate. I would like to be able to export batches of strings of my choosing, but that feature doesn't seem to be available. What problems is Gridly solving and how is that benefiting you? I use Gridly for localizing game text. It helps in tracking changes, organizing text, sorting, exporting, and translating.
