I like how GridBuddy provides the ability to view & mass edit multiple children in the same grid as the parent. With both the flat view and hierarchical view as options, the grid can be configured to best meet users' needs. For instance, if a user is most familiar with a tabular Excel view, the flat view can be very helpful. The tabbed view is also a great way to organize data. It provides an easy to navigate view of data with different filters. By embedding grids on a parent record, it also enables users to edit child objects on the same page. In our GridBuddy implementations, some of the grids load slowly, which has been raised by end users. Since data is not auto saved in the grid, there is the potential that data is lost if the page is accidentally refreshed. It would be useful to have an auto-save or restore option. seems like some of their upgrades only partially test compatibility with new standard Salesforce features (eg: when the standard time field was deployed by Salesforce 2 releases ago, the grid doesn't function with a default time set); wish they made it easier to deploy from sandbox to production (using metadata instead of having to export and load in dataloader.... it is so clunky!) Gridbuddy is generally used in Salesforce and both of them have there own design style, I know Gridbuddy has provided the new feature to match the style with lightning design system, but still, there are many components which look different, making the screens look different from the salesforce style. I am not very happy with the User Interface. It sometimes becomes difficult to go through number of data you are looking at times. App slows down as well. But this is not something to worry about if you are not surrounded by too much of data.
