"Great reliability in containing malware outbreaks through real time internet scan"
5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

Incredibly powerful and intelligent in threat detection, uses a bare minimum of system resources, and very effective at tagging IP addresses that have been observed sending web requests that contain out-of-band interaction domains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

Although network monitoring is very effective, there is some room for improvement in terms of graph interpretation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is a must have tool for companies who value security without much complexity."
4.5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

What I love most about GreyNoise is how deeply it analyzes unknown programs without overwhelming me with unnecessary data—something that I find lacking in other tools. Its interface is clean, and I don't need to spin up a VM or sandbox just to get basic threat context. Compared to verbose platforms like some alternatives, GreyNoise gives actionable insights with minimal friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

That said, I wish GreyNoise provided more information about some artifacts—it occasionally feels like I need to do extra research elsewhere to fully understand what’s being flagged. Also, the free tier can feel limiting; sometimes I hit scan limits due to accidental interruptions or repeat submissions. A more transparent or flexible quota model would be appreciated. "Reliable Context for IP Analysis with Small UI and Workflow Frictions"
4/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

What I like most about GreyNoise is how it helps me quickly differentiate between harmless internet noise and potentially targeted activity. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, which makes searching IPs and reviewing context very straightforward. I especially appreciate the rich metadata they provide on noisy IPs, things like classifications, tags and historical activity make it easier to decide whether something is worth investigating further. Their visualizations, like timelines and tag breakdowns, give a helpful snapshot without needing to dig through raw logs. I use it regularly to support incident investigation and reduce alert fatigue, and it definitely helps save time by filtering out irrelevant traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

While GreyNoise is incredibly helpful for filtering out irrelevant noise from internet background traffic, there are a few areas that could improved. One challenge I face is that the data granularity sometimes feels a bit limited when I'm trying to investigate a specific pattern or need more context around an IP's behavior. Additionally, the search interface could be more flexible when handling bulk queries or custom filters. Lastly, while their enrichment is solid, deeper integrations with other security tools I use daily would help streamline the investigation process even more. "GreyNoise knows what’s just noise and that’s exactly what I needed"
4/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

What I like most about GreyNoise is how it filters out internet "background noise" so I can focus on real, targeted threats. It drastically lowers alert alerts by marking various scanners and useless traffic, therefore cutting through the noise. I love the simplicity of the dashboard — I can investigate IPs in seconds and get enriched context like actor behavior, scanning patterns, and intent. It saves me hours every week that I used to spend manually triaging false positives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

Some of the tags could be a bit more descriptive, especially for newer or low-confidence IP classifications. Occasionally, I find there's a lack of historical context for some behaviors, making it harder to assess long-term risk trends. I wish it had tighter integration with some niche or legacy tools we still rely on internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GreyNoise is a really useful tool for threat intelligence and it has a proactive edge too"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

GreyNoise is like a flavored stream of insights for the respective industry it serves and as a banking cybersecurity person, I love that it lets me focus only on things that matter and not general noise. The context details, whether it is leaked credentials, malware signatures, or APT tracking, are very detailed and often correlated with clear visuals and graphs which help us connect the dots quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

While the intelligence is high quality, the UI feels a bit scattered and important information sometimes takes a few extra clicks to locate. There have been times the portal was sluggish, especially during large queries. Also, some threat actor updates feel delayed or surface-level, particularly when compared to niche feeds we use for Vietnam specific data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I stopped worrying about security thanks to GreyNoise"
4/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

I find GreyNoise very appealing since it aligns with the real way I use my devices, especially as a person who signs up on lots of new websites, learns Python, and downloads scripts and datasets from all over the web. It’s not just some background AV application, but actively filters out those fishy ips, secures my inbox and keeps an immaculate work zone without me having to look for spam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

GreyNoise makes it way too often to enforce me legitimate tasks without letting me know why like downloading code snippets or tools that I really need, which is the biggest issue I run into. On several occasions, it has even hung my machine post-upgrades, which can be quite irritating when I am in the middle of focused work or online classes. Honestly, the sheer number of features and the fairly steep learning curve initially left someone not working in a large IT department feeling a bit lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GreyNoise is a smart ally for smarter threat detection"
5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

GreyNoise's approach of stopping attacker strategies even before they reach our firewall truly appeals to me and their threat intelligence is quick and proactive, like an always scanning early warning system. The tailored notification tools also help us to remain informed and so even during periods of heavy traffic or suspected activity spikes, performance has been always steady. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

GreyNoise lacks native remedial or reaction mechanisms, hence we still depend on other tools for follow-up measures. For several of my junior analysts, the learning curve for API-based customizing was really steep. Although the main functionality is excellent, a more thorough dashboard would speed data understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GreyNoise helps us cut through any unnecessary noise and focus on real cyber threats"
5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

GreyNoise's ability to separate benign from malicious internet traffic stood out to me the most since it will enable my team to greatly reduce false alarms. It just fits right in without much overhead, hence I truly enjoy how effortlessly it interacts with our server and current SIEMs and SOARs. My particular preference is the tagging feature; grouping undesired IP addresses greatly facilitates analysis. Even during high-stress danger assessments, the simple UI facilitates navigation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

Although I'm good with the price, I could understand how smaller security teams or startups with tighter budgets would find it overly costly. For testing, the free tier is useful; yet, its limitations can soon cause a bottleneck. GreyNoise is more of a potent booster than a single defense mechanism; it does not offer a whole security solution on its own either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"help me to focus on real threats."
5/5
What do you like best about GreyNoise?

Greynoise is great for getting rid of all the spam alerts. It's like it knows the difference between a real threat and the noise on the internet. It works well with my other tools, so I didn't have to make many changes to use it. The real-time information is great; it helps me find bad things quickly. I also feel like I can trust the facts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreyNoise?

It's not great. I wish I had more control over the platforms to make them work better for my team. Also, it's not easy to understand at first. The guides work, but they could be easier for people like me who are just starting out. It misses some information on strange threats, so I have to look around on my own.
