I have been using Greenshades since 2012 and it works great with GP Dyanmics. The tax filing service is such an easy process, The employee portal and accessibility for paystubs and W-2's is a great tool for our employees. They can access all of their information instantly. As a supervisor, placing the power to review timesheets prior to approval in the hands of my employees is important. We had to use our old (other service) and new (Greenshades) clock in/out services simultaneously. Also, the default is to show how much income you have - not ideal for preventing workplace envy. It syncs with our Dynamics GP database and allows us to have an employee self-service portal. We have it set up for nearly ten companies, with employees logging in to view pay stubs, complete benefits open enrollment and changes, and to make updates to W-4s. There are additional modules available for Greenshades as well, that allow our team to calculate complex garnishments, process W-2, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Greenshades? The Greenshades Connector just the job, but it is a nightmare when it comes to scheduling. Since we have several companies on GP and Greenshades, we often have instances where a single company needs to be manually synced to Greenshades. If we do not go back into the Connector and re-select all our company databases, they will NOT be included in our regularly scheduled sync. This causes delays in employees receiving paystubs and everyone gets worried that they didn't get paid, phones start ringing off the hook, and so on. Greenshades could make major strides by improving how syncs are scheduled and preventing manual syncs from overriding what is already scheduled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Greenshades solving and how is that benefiting you? We have solved paystub distribution with Greenshades Employee Services. For some of our companies with more field personnel, we have chosen to send PDF paystubs out via email through Greenshades ES. Companies with mostly/all office personnel are simply logging into the ES portal to view their paystubs. Additionally, after moving to GP this year, we were left without a good way to perform Open Enrollment benefits elections. Greenshades ES allows us to build our benefits packages so employees can view the offerings and select their health, dental, etc. choices. "Green shades is merdiocre " 2/5 What do you like best about Greenshades? Pretty self explanatory when usuing the site. It’s very easy to navigate once you have all of the access codes. For a position that travels and like my position does, it would be more beneficial to have a better mobile app. I hate that it only lets you clock in and clock out instead of input times like the desktop version. It makes it easy for leadership to see how much overtime is being worked on by employees. Which is much Better than our personal spreadsheets we kept when we were salary. " 5/5 What do you like best about Greenshades? I like having all my forms available online and it's easy to access. I also like how the app operates. How there is not a way to copy the same hours for every day. You have to manually put in each day. If the app or the website allowed you to easily copy the same amount of hours for a previous day for other days, it would make the website/app better for users, making it faster to complete my time sheet. When I do not have my computer on me, the app on my phone allows me to complete what I need to on time. he two-second verification factor allows me to quickly be able to log into greenshades from whatever device. You are able to save the document easily on your phone from the app and it is not complicated. While getting my taxes completed, I was able to quickly get all my documents uploaded and saved to my phone and email it my accountant. When applying for loans, I was able to get my previous pay stubs quickly sent over to my banker, the app was allowing me to send over the right information needed.
