"Efficient Integration but Rigidity in Workflow"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I have used Greenhouse as an ATS at multiple companies ranging in size from 1,500 - 10, 000 employees. It is fairly easy to manage from a configuration point of view and supports the basic needs of candidate and search management well. The API functionality and BI connectors are standout features, allowing us to get data out to support reporting and integration with other tools, which I find to be well above any other competitor. These features also help automate processes via integration between Workday (and other tools) and Greenhouse and allow the combination of recruiting data with data from the rest of our people system and scheduling tools. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

There is some rigidity around the offer approval workflow that could be improved, as well as the ability to create more field logic with branching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Hiring Process with AI Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I really appreciate how Greenhouse simplifies the application flow process. It allows me to go through applicants with filters and seamlessly share resumes and scorecards with hiring managers or the interviewing team, making it easy to compare notes and feedback. I recently discovered the AI feature, which is super helpful during interviews as it helps fix grammatical or spelling errors, allowing me to focus more on listening and jotting down responses. It's a lifesaver for making the interview process more seamless. Using Greenhouse for the first time was very simple and easy to navigate, even for people who haven't used an ATS before. I also integrate it with DocuSign, Zoom, Google Meets, and Calendly, which makes setting up interviews and managing schedules really convenient. Overall, Greenhouse offers an intuitive and user-friendly experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I think that there are a lot of permissions which makes sense, but can be sometimes a very manual task. To update permissions per job, I have to go in and update things manually quite a bit when I'm working with different hiring managers or people on different teams. I understand why it is that way, but I think there potentially could be an easier way to update permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Hiring with Exceptional Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I appreciate Greenhouse for being my single source of truth and decision engine, especially in a fast-paced, PE-backed company. It helps me set the bar upfront, control the top of funnel, and run structured interviews which drive decision clarity. The software supports me in moving fast and maintaining data hygiene while ensuring that hiring decisions are owned by managers and I maintain the process, quality, and pace. I like the visibility it provides into hiring decisions, showing bottlenecks, decision quality, and consistency, which really improves the signal and speeds up hiring while making accountability clear. The robust training materials, community support, and constantly evolving product updates are fantastic. I love that there are always new additions, like viewing multiple calendars for panel interviews, which make a huge difference. The improved automation on rules and the ability to learn through videos, blogs, and chat are incredibly useful. I found the support team extremely knowledgeable, and despite the effort needed, the setup process is something I would gladly undertake again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The filter UI on jobs isn't intuitive and often results in hiring manager frustration. Same with the interview plan UI. Sometimes folks get lost because there are so many ways to do the same thing, but I personally love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recruitment Process, Needs Better Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like that Greenhouse is easy to learn, which makes it simple to teach new hiring managers who need a quick ramp-up. I also find the custom field options really beneficial, as they help manage complexity in our job applications, offers, and across different departments and locations. This flexibility allows us to tailor Greenhouse to fit our specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I would appreciate a more detailed reporting for sure. Being able to filter for all the fields we can use in the columns would be great. Also, I'd like it if all the job and candidate fields were available in the reports. Furthermore, if the dashboards were more flexible, allowing us to process more data in different layouts, it would be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient for Budgeting, Needs Clearer Approval Workflow"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like the job filling estimation feature in Greenhouse. It's crucial for me to have an expected schedule for all job openings, as it directly affects the company's budget. This feature helps me adjust these timings in real time, which has been great for model adjustment. I also find the range of features justifiable for the competitive price, making the setup very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Actually, the approval process isn't as streamlined as it could be. It's still easy, but sometimes it can get a bit confusing. Some approvals do not show up on my email inbox, nor at the 'approval requests' section in the home page, which is weird (I can only join and approve by a link the creator sends me). Although this is rare, it happens. But the main point for me is the approval pipeline. It's great to have plenty of details, but sometimes it can cluster my view and get in the way of knowing what actions I actually have to take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Feature-Rich, Minor Integration Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I feel like using Greenhouse is relatively positive, especially because it's easy to keep up with the app throughout the recruiting process. I work a lot with hiring managers who are first-time managers going through the interview process, and it's pretty easy to use. The scheduling is easy to do, and the new AI features are nice. I like the integration with LinkedIn. It has been easy to navigate through and find the right people for our team, which helps to get the right talent in the door. I like the ease of use, really. The interface is very easy to follow, which is what I like best. When our recruiter left, it was very easy for me to jump in and get started in the interim. The integration with DocuSign is very helpful for me when sending offers to candidates. I do like the integration there, and I don't have any hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I think a little bit of update on integration would be helpful. There's always token issues that I'm having when it comes to the connection with LinkedIn. So maybe, like, updates on integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Greenhouse Transforms Recruiting into a Cohesive, Data-Driven Process"
5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I love Greenhouses ability to transform recruitment from a series of disconnected tasks into a cohesive, data-driven, and efficient process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse offers reporting capabilities, but if you need highly specific or deeply customized analytics, the built-in options can feel somewhat limited. In those cases, the effort required to extract the data and analyze it in the exact way you want can be significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Streamlined for Recruitment and Onboarding"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I really like using Greenhouse because it keeps everything nice and streamlined, especially when it comes to onboarding tasks, which tell me exactly what I need to do. It's intuitive enough that I can sit with our hiring managers for just about thirty minutes and share how our hiring process works, and they are able to figure it out from there. I also appreciate the chatbot (and tell our hiring mangers to use this frequently) - great answers! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

With the Greenhouse onboarding tasks, it's a bit frustrating that if a new hire hasn't started but they're already in our system, and we need to update a task, it requires manually going back and updating each one. For example, if we tweak something small like the instructions for creating a Slack name, I have to update that for everyone who's already in the system but hasn't started yet. "Customizable Yet Challenging Recruitment Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like how Greenhouse offers better organization and tracking for our recruiting process. It simplifies posting jobs and has an easy interview scheduling process and scorecard process. The customization is what I like best about Greenhouse. I can make templates for emails, offer letters, offer packets, interview setups, scorecard setups, and job creation. This flexibility ensures the system works for us even as our needs change. Additionally, we've never had any issues with Greenhouse and have never considered moving off of it, which speaks to its reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

There is a bit of a learning curve with the system if you're not already familiar. Because it's so customizable there are a lot of settings and capabilities, but you kind of have to know they exist. It's not always the most intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
