"Convenient Features and a Friendly UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse ATS has been an excellent addition to our recruitment tech stack. From the very beginning, the platform stood out for its ease of use. The interface is intuitive, well structured, and easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to navigate without extensive training. The implementation process was smooth and well supported, allowing our team to get up and running quickly with minimal disruption.

When it comes to customer support, one of the highlights has been the strong set of learning resources and documentation available. The platform provides clear guides, help articles, and step by step resources that make it easy to understand processes, troubleshoot issues, and learn new features independently.

We use Greenhouse frequently in our day to day hiring operations, and it has significantly streamlined our workflow. The system offers a strong range of features, from candidate tracking and interview scheduling to structured hiring workflows and reporting tools. Its ease of integration is another advantage, especially the seamless connection with LinkedIn and other job boards, which makes sourcing and managing candidates much more efficient. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Since we migrated to Greenhouse from our previous ATS just 3–4 months ago, one thing we’re still figuring out is how to automate parts of the availability requests and interview-scheduling tasks. It’s a little complex, but I’m sure we’ll get it sorted out within a week or two. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organized, User-Friendly Hiring Workflow That Streamlines Recruiting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

What I like best about Greenhouse is how organized and user-friendly the hiring workflow feels for both recruiters and candidates. The interview scheduling, application tracking, and collaboration features make the recruiting process much more efficient and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

One thing I dislike about Greenhouse is that some workflows can feel a bit complex for first-time users, especially when navigating multiple interview stages or feedback sections. I also think certain reporting and customization features could be more intuitive and easier to configure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Structured Hiring, But a Learning Curve and Some Reporting/UI Friction"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

What stands out most about Greenhouse is its structured, data-driven approach to hiring. The platform makes it easy to build consistent and fair interview processes through scorecards, interview kits, and standardized workflows, which helps reduce bias and improve decision-making quality.

I also really appreciate how intuitive and collaborative it is with hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers can all stay aligned in one place, making communication and feedback seamless. Its reporting and analytics capabilities are another big strength, providing actionable insights into pipeline health, time-to-hire, and candidate experience.

Finally, Greenhouse integrates well with other HR tools, making it a flexible solution for scaling organizations that want a more strategic, organized, and candidate-friendly hiring process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

While Greenhouse is a strong platform overall, there are a few areas that can be challenging.

One common drawback is that the system can feel complex and somewhat overwhelming for new users. The level of structure and customization is powerful, but it also means there’s a learning curve, especially for hiring managers who use it less frequently.

Another limitation is reporting flexibility. While Greenhouse provides solid standard reports, building highly customized or advanced analytics sometimes requires extra effort or external tools.

Some users also find the user interface a bit less modern compared to newer platforms, and certain workflows (like bulk actions or candidate movement) can take more clicks than expected.

Lastly, integrations, while extensive, can occasionally require additional configuration or troubleshooting to work seamlessly, particularly with less common HR tech tools.

Overall, these aren’t deal-breakers, but they can impact efficiency depending on how the platform is implemented and used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and structured hiring platform for growing teams"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse provides a very structured approach to recruitment. The interview pipeline is easy to customize, which helps keep hiring processes consistent across teams. Collaboration between hiring managers, recruiters, and interviewers is smooth because feedback is centralized and easy to track. I also like the integrations with other HR and productivity tools, which makes it easier to manage the entire hiring workflow in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The platform can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new users who are not familiar with ATS systems. Some configuration options require admin support, and reporting could be more flexible without needing additional setup. While the system is powerful, the interface occasionally feels slightly outdated compared to some newer tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Integration but UI Needs Work"
4/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I appreciate Greenhouse's native connectors that make seamless data transfers. It simplifies the flow of information between Greenhouse and Workday for job requisitions and offers after a candidate is hired, as well as to CoderByte for candidate technical evaluations. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy and quick, pretty straightforward. Also, the APIs are very easy to set up and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse could improve their UI, especially with flexibility around the Jobs home page which cannot be customized. We're stuck with the default fields and can't add additional ones. Additionally, the dashboards aren't great, so we have to rely on external tools like Snowflake and Tableau for reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Feature-Rich and Flexible, with Continuous Development of AI Tools and Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Optionality and continuous addition of features. I like the AI/Intelligence tools, however they still need improvement. I find that I get better results when using tools outside of greenhouse rather than within. Pricing is always more than we want to spend, but I think in general it is fair. We are about to go up a tier with added features, so we will see if the price increase is worth it for the new features. I'm very interested in getting the onboarding tool, however I'm trying to get our onboarding team onboard. I like how it is able to integrate various tools and functions into one. Regarding integrations, we don't currently use that many, however I am hopeful to integrate with ADP. I do however feel the integrations with Microsoft could be improved. Scheduling can be difficult with multiple schedulers. Also, regarding remote offer approvals, it can't be done via email, it has to be redirected to the app, which isn't ideal for most executives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The app has limited functionality, and I wish more could be done there. It would be helpful to have quick scheduling options, plus the ability to add Zoom links or reserve a conference room for an interview.

It’s also difficult to make scheduling changes if you aren’t the one who originally scheduled the interview.

I’d like easier reporting breakdowns with better filters, and a more searchable CRM overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive, Intuitive ATS That Streamlines Hiring (Plus Powerful Integrations)"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse is continuously pushing out improvements that making using the software easier and more intuitive. I also appreciate that the software makes it simple for candidates to apply without jumping through hoops. Overall, it's a very comprehensive way to gather data and make the hiring process more streamlined.

The fact that it integrates with Rippling and Slack also make Greenhouse much more powerful. I am exploring the way that Greenhouse and Claude AI can also be integrated.

I typically don't have any issues with bugs or performance within the ATS which is much appreciated.

I can't speak to pricing that our company specifically has, but I do know that it seems to be worth whatever we are paying as we continue to renew our contract and see the benefits of what we are paying for.

Our account rep has also been awesome in showing us what we are underutilizing within the system and ways that we can make our jobs easier. It's really nice to have that 1:1 time to explore and learn.

The new AI features are impressive but I admittedly need to play around with them more. One that I benefit from regularly is the feedback summary feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

It can be a little tricky to find things because they tend to be buried within other tabs/links. Sometimes these things make sense, but others it seems counterintuitive. I dislike that I can't schedule ALL types of messages (including those with availability links). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Candidate Tracking but Needs UI Improvements"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Greenhouse?

What I like most about Greenhouse is the tracking feature that ensures candidates are on the right pipelines. I also appreciate the scorecard feature, which is great because it helps me to keep track of my notes for specific candidates, making scorecards very useful. Additionally, the step-by-step, structured process for candidates is customizable, helping to keep us organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I think the interface could be a lot better. It's a little less visually appealing than other ATS. I think it lacks a bit of color and it's also a little bit clunky, like it's too wordy. If you're a new user, you might get overwhelmed because there are a lot of things in there, so it's not really as straightforward to use. And then aside from that, the sourcing tools could be improved because right now we are using a different platform for sourcing. So if there could be some sourcing features added, that would be much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
