## Greenhouse Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Candidate Management and Seamless Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kherissa M. | Human Resources Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate that Greenhouse is pretty customizable to what we need for our organization specifically. It has been super helpful in having external and internal job posting boards, allowing internal candidates from our organization to apply easily and enabling us to post jobs externally to gather candidates from a variety of platforms. The initial setup was one of the smoothest experiences I've had with HR products. Greenhouse provided a really great checklist to follow and had implementation meetings where we could walk through step by step any issues or things we wanted to implement.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think that the interview scheduling can be a lot cleaner and work more like Calendly, where interviews can be scheduled automatically when a candidate selects a time that works for both the interviewer and the interviewee. Some of the reporting features, while robust, could be easier to work with.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has been super helpful with external and internal job posting boards, allowing us to easily apply internally and post externally to gather candidates from different platforms. The auto-tag/reject features are extremely helpful as well as the sorting enabling us to filter through and find qualified candidates easily.

 ### 2. Streamlined Recruitment with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | People Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for recruitment and applicant tracking. It makes it a lot easier for us to track applications and import that information into our HRIS system. It's easy to use. Even though the stages were a little confusing at first, I now think they make a lot of sense. I value using the stages and really like the ability to easily pull out the resumes and swipe through them to approve or decline. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I don't think we had any issues going through it. I'm likely to recommend it because I think the system works very well.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish that the portal looked a little bit better for the job opening page. It's just very bare bones, like just a name of a position and a link. If it could have a nicer user interface and look prettier, I think it would attract a few more applicants.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for recruitment and applicant tracking. It makes it a lot easier to track applications and import information into our HRIS system.

 ### 3. Makes talent acquisition seamless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres R. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how intuitive the interface is, which makes it easy for recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate smoothly throughout the hiring process. The structured interview kits and customizable scorecards help ensure candidate evaluations stay consistent and aligned across the team. Integrations with other tools like LinkedIn and Slack feel seamless, and they help keep our workflow efficient.

Greenhouse also provides strong transparency and tracking across the entire hiring funnel, so it’s easier to see where candidates are and what’s needed next. The automation for tasks like interview scheduling and email templates saves us a ton of time and reduces back-and-forth. On top of that, the analytics and reporting features give valuable insights into recruiting performance and help us understand what’s working and where we can improve.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The initial setup can feel a bit complex, especially when you’re configuring custom workflows. Some of the reporting features could also be more flexible for advanced data analysis.

The mobile experience isn’t as smooth as the desktop version, and a few integrations require additional cost or extra technical setup.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has helped us centralize and streamline our entire recruiting process. Before, hiring was fragmented across tools and email threads. Now, we manage candidate pipelines, interview feedback, and communication all in one place. It improves collaboration across teams and ensures a consistent and fair candidate experience. We’ve also reduced time-to-hire and improved reporting on hiring metrics.

 ### 4. Efficient Integration but UI Needs Work

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahesh B. | Sr. Director, People Technology & Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate Greenhouse's native connectors that make seamless data transfers. It simplifies the flow of information between Greenhouse and Workday for job requisitions and offers after a candidate is hired, as well as to CoderByte for candidate technical evaluations. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy and quick, pretty straightforward. Also, the APIs are very easy to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse could improve their UI, especially with flexibility around the Jobs home page which cannot be customized. We're stuck with the default fields and can't add additional ones. Additionally, the dashboards aren't great, so we have to rely on external tools like Snowflake and Tableau for reporting.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse solves chaotic candidate experiences and makes data transfers easier between various systems.

 ### 5. Efficient Workflow Enhancer with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay R. | Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition Systems & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the interface of Greenhouse. It's really easy to navigate, and it's always easy to answer questions through the support article library or by chatting with a bot. When I have more complex technical questions, I find that submitting a ticket yields fairly quick and detailed responses, and I always get friendly responses with detailed suggestions on how to work through different problems. We're also really into the new AI features, and I'm excited about how they might integrate into our current workflows. I love Greenhouse, giving it a 10 on how likely I am to recommend it to a friend or colleague. The ability to organize candidates applying to various jobs and track where they are in our recruiting processes is helpful, as well as sharing insightful data on what's working and what's not. I'm also a big fan of custom reports and exporting the data I need.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I'm still waiting for the new Greenhouse analytics to come out. I was told it was gonna come out in 2025, but looks like we're still waiting for that. So I'm excited to see if the enhancements change that workflow for me at all and if I can eliminate having to export reports and upload them into Power BI if the new dashboards in Greenhouse will be better and more suitable for our team.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to organize candidates, track their progress in recruiting, and share insightful data. It helps identify process sticking points and works well with custom reports for analytics.

 ### 6. Positive Greenhouse Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clark P. | Lead Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really like the scorecard summaries feature to provide a consolidated overview of a candidates performance in the interview process. Its a great snapshot to share with executives that want a concise read.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Reporting is still lacking in my opinion. More intuitive dashboards similar to GEM would be great to see.

There are also scheduling features that could be improved. For example, when sending a candidate an interviewers availability, you can only select one interviewer at a time in the calendar. It would be great to select as many as you'd like to more easily share availability across multiple individuals. It's also frustrating when you need to shift around an onsite interview or panel interview. You can only reschedule one person at a time rather than see all scheduled interviews and easily drag/drop interview times on the calendar (like when you originally schedule).

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Were using the data to make informed decisions on hiring timelines and bottlenecks in the recruiting process. I do wish the reports could be viewed in a better manner rather than just in rows and columns.

 ### 7. Great for Recruitment but Needs Analytics and DocuSign Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the candidate profile view and the scheduling view in Greenhouse. These features, along with the flexibility to add job infos and custom fields, really stand out for me. It gives me a lot of clarity around scheduling, and I appreciate being able to see an overview of all the recruitment processes. The integration side is really working well, giving me an overview that's much better than other tools I've seen.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting could be improved a lot, given that it's not giving a lot right now. We're looking forward to improvements, as we're mainly using Snowflake for analytics instead. I'd really love the analytics tool to be usable by recruiters in Greenhouse. The DocuSign integration is another concern. I don't understand why Greenhouse decided that only one person from a company can sign as a company signatory, especially when many companies, particularly in Europe, need two signatories. I'd love Greenhouse to explore allowing more people to sign from the company side and not just one user. The pricing around Greenhouse onboarding could also be better if it comes as an all-in-one package rather than asking us to buy add-ons. The CRM, while working well now, still feels basic, and I think there's room for more features.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse gives me clarity around scheduling and I get an overview of the recruitment process. The integration side is working well, offering a better experience than other tools.

 ### 8. Smooth, User-Friendly Hiring with Incredible Implementation and Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** M’Kenzy W. | Talent Acquisition Operations Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse delivers a smooth, user-friendly experience for both candidates and recruiters. Their implementation team was incredible to work with, helping us tailor and configure our setup during a high-growth phase and broader technology rollout. Their ongoing customer support has been just as impressive—always responsive, collaborative, and quick to help us find the right solutions as our needs evolve.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some of the back-end configurations can be difficult to navigate, and the talent filtering and resume review experience can feel less intuitive than expected. While the platform offers strong customization overall, there are areas where additional flexibility would better support more complex or evolving hiring workflows.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us solve the challenge of scaling our hiring operations without sacrificing candidate experience or consistency. By centralizing our job board, pipelines, and workflows into one platform, we’ve gained greater visibility across roles and stages, increased automation in our recruiting processes, and built a more standardized, repeatable hiring framework that supports our continued growth.

 ### 9. Customizable Offer Templates Streamline Our Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa B. | HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how customizable the offer templates are in Greenhouse and how easily we can update or edit existing ones. I appreciate how well it tracks applicants, whether they are applying to multiple positions or using one profile.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

We send our offer letters through Adobe and it would be nice to be able to customize the look of the emails/sender of those emails more so they are more recognizable to candidates when they get the email. I also wish there was a better way to send multiple documents to employees with their offer as separate attachments rather than it all appearing as one large packet that they have to scroll through.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse lets us better customize offer letters for candidates and track applicants applying to multiple positions. I like the customizable offer templates and how easily we can update them.

 ### 10. Streamlined Hiring with a Few Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica A. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for the entire hiring process and really like its clean system that offers a great candidate experience, allowing applicants to apply quickly. I appreciate the ease of use, which makes it straightforward to navigate the platform. Additionally, I like the filtering and the AI summarization for scorecards, which are particularly valuable features.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find the reporting functionality lacking, some bulk functionality could be improved, and the app feels quite outdated.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for the entire hiring process. It provides a clean system with a great candidate experience, allowing them to apply quickly. I particularly value the filtering and AI summarization for scorecards.

 ### 11. Structured, Intuitive Hiring Workflows That Bring Consistency and Pipeline Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen Y. | Business Travel Consultant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like most about Greenhouse is how structured and intuitive its hiring workflows are. They make it easy to manage job postings, track candidates, and collaborate smoothly with hiring managers. Overall, it adds consistency to the recruitment process and gives better visibility across the entire hiring pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

What I dislike most about Greenhouse is that certain workflows feel a bit rigid, and even small configuration tweaks often require admin support. On top of that, the reporting interface isn’t as intuitive as I’d like when I need quick, ad hoc insights.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse addresses the issue of fragmented and inconsistent hiring by bringing job postings, candidate tracking, and interview workflows together in a single platform. As a result, it makes collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers smoother, helps teams move faster on hiring decisions, and offers clearer visibility into pipeline health as well as recruiter performance.

 ### 12. Structured Hiring Excellence, Scaling Fair and Data Driven Recruitment with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The Structured interview approach is a technical game changee, ensuring our team defines specific role requirements and candidate attributes before a single job is even posted. I love the visibility of the candidate timeline, which allows us to look back at years of historical interactions to understand past decisions instantly. The integration ecosystem is incredibly robust, allowing us to connect Greenhouse with 145+ other tools like Slack and LinkedIn to keep our entire workflow centralized.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting functionality can be a bit rigid, making it difficult for our analytics team to pull specific, non standard data snapshots for advanced performance analysis.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This structured approach has directly improved our recruiter efficiency and significantly reduced our average time to hire. Overall it ensure that every hiring decision is data driven and aligned with our company broader growth goals.

 ### 13. GH is solid

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abigail P. | Onsite Client Services Representative @ Guidewell, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

GH is pretty straight forward. You can't mess it up, but if you do it is very easy to correct.
It appears they are constantly working to improve the platform however some of the changes aren't always as user-friendly as the outdated processes. But its nothing that you can't get used to!

Also - the GH customer service chat is INCREDIBLE. The people who have assisted me are beyond amazing, kind and very patient! Very knowledgable.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish you could select multiple resumes at once ON a req, and do bulk actions that way.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

not sure

 ### 14. User-Friendly, Multi-Job Boards, and Strong Reporting with Easy Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis M. | Head of HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

user friendly, ability to have more than one job board, reporting feature, easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Inability to search phone numbers; Cant differentiate whether someone is scheduled within a stage; merge feature is not intuitive. Multi-applicant candidate profile is confusing. Application Review page could use work. More features, notes, etc.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple job boards, everything is in one place. One source of truth.

 ### 15. Easy to Use but Needs Improvement AI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like most about Greenhouse is the ease of navigation. I find it to be a very intuitive platform, which makes it pleasant to use. Also, the ability to customize is important to me in an ATS, and Greenhouse offers many options in this regard, including templates and other customizable options.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

For my part, what I find as a shortcoming of Greenhouse is the sorting of resumes. We know that in the era of AI in 2026, there is a significant influx of applications that can come in for each of our positions. It's an interesting problem to have, but it takes the right tools to handle that volume. I think Greenhouse could really improve in this area and implement AI features for processing incoming applications. There are some options, but they really don't meet the current needs. So, if it were possible to have something perhaps a little inspired by LinkedIn, to be able to set up searches to really target the right profile, it would be very interesting. Also, if there was a possibility to have an artificial intelligence option to look at the job requirements and highlight the relevant resumes, it would be a huge plus for Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse centralizes all the information on applications, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and allowing for rigorous tracking to avoid forgetting any.

 ### 16. Streamlines Recruitment with Automation, Needs Interface Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa H. | Mrs., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as our recruitment platform. It streamlines our process by allowing us to view everything going on with candidates for specific roles and of course candidate profiles in general. The automation feature is really helpful, as it makes our job easier by handling tedious tasks that would otherwise take up more time. With automation, we don't have to manually trigger emails in bulk rejection situations or when moving candidates to the next step; the system takes care of that, allowing us to focus on other important recruitment tasks. The staff at Greenhouse is really fast at responding in chat and willing to think in line with my needs. It's also simple to adjust to, which was great for our team.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find that having to have the bright colored screen in Greenhouse kind of affects me throughout the day since I'm having to work in the system all day, five days a week. So, that would be a nice option to have. Also, I think a bit more integration capabilities would be helpful because Greenhouse and Webex can integrate, but not to the full extent that we need to. We can automate scheduling for recruiter interviews, but not for the following stage interviews due to the complications in the integration process.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines our recruitment, allowing us to view everything going on with candidates and automating tedious tasks. It saves time, especially with automating email triggers for bulk rejections, letting us focus more on recruitment activities.

 ### 17. Effortless Application Tracking and Referrals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saksh P. | Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like best about Greenhouse is how simple it is to track my job applications and referrals. I can easily see where I am in the process, what stages are coming up, and any updates without having to chase someone down. It’s also really straightforward to submit referrals and keep an eye on their progress. Overall, it just makes the whole experience of applying and referring people much clearer and less stressful.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The interface can also feel a bit plain and not super intuitive

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse addresses the issue of uncertainty in the hiring or referral process. Rather than having to guess or repeatedly check in, I can conveniently monitor the progress of my applications or referrals all in one location. It keeps everything well-organised, including stages, updates, and any necessary actions. This level of transparency makes the entire experience less stressful and allows me to stay informed without the need for constant back-and-forth communication.

 ### 18. Comprehensive, User-Friendly ATS with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony T. | Director of People & Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is probably the most comprehensive ATS available. In my experience, it's been helpful for both smaller and larger companies. Any time I've ever had a question or didn't know how to do something, customer support has been there to help me quickly and efficiently. As a talent acquisition professional, it's the tool I use every day. Although it can seem overwhelming, I find it pretty user-friendly, from basic use to its ease of integration with other tools we use internally. Implementation is pretty simple as well for both non-tech-savvy users and experts.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing that makes Greenhouse stand out the most is the amount of customization you can have across all jobs. This, however, comes at a price: it's very easy to end up with messy data with all that customization if teams aren't on top of consistency.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing thousands of applicants in one place, from inbound to prospects, and being able to have a user-friendly platform where anyone from a coordinator to a hiring manager can access a candidate and know precisely where they are in the process, along with who has been in touch with that particular candidate.

 ### 19. Robust Features, but Overwhelming to Navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabby R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like using Greenhouse to keep track of candidates along the pipeline, know when offers go out, and see which candidates have applied more than once. It's really helpful for keeping track of candidates in the recruiting process, especially when there are hundreds of applicants. I appreciate being able to view candidates in the applicant review mode, which allows me to see the entire resume, including work history, education, and the most recent experience. This feature helps me see the facts without bias and determine if a candidate's experience aligns with the role we're hiring for.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think one of the pains that I'm feeling in Greenhouse right now is that it is so overwhelmingly got a lot of features, and we don't use more than half the features. The plan that we're on was initially to do the DEI reporting, but hardly any candidate ever completes that portion, making it difficult to determine hiring trends with diverse candidates. I also don't like how including images into Greenhouse has to be done through Imgur. I feel like that's a very poor design, and I wish I could just upload images within Greenhouse instead of using a third party. The initial setup wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. The rep that worked with me did a good job of helping me get set up and checked in frequently enough at the beginnign that I didn't feel totally lost. The only downside of that initial setup is that they couldn't map interview questions into the system very cleanly, all the notes from Level lived in the notes section in Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to keep track of candidates in the recruiting process, especially when we have hundreds of candidates. It's really helpful to know about offer status and see if candidates applied more than once.

 ### 20. Good Customization but Complex Setup

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corina C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the ability to customize scorecards per role and interviewer in Greenhouse. I also appreciate being able to ask role-specific questions and have them already inputted, so I don't have to copy and paste every time. It's helpful to track what questions hiring managers ask in their interviews.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I don't like not being able to view jobs by the hiring manager. In Lever, it was easy for me to visually sort all my jobs by the hiring manager, so when I did my check-ins, I could pull up all the jobs in one click and go through the pipelines. The implementation and setup process was long and much more complicated than Lever. It took a couple of months to set everything up with our CSM.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for tracking all applications, storing scorecards, tracking candidate interview processes, and creating and sending offers. The ability to customize scorecards per role and interviewer helps me with role-specific questions, reducing repetitive tasks.

 ### 21. Centralizes Recruitment with Intuitive Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the user experience of Greenhouse because it's very intuitive. That's something that I really like about it. I appreciate the shared visibility feature, which is important to me as a manager to have visibility into all the work being done. I also love the data, reporting, and analytics features within Greenhouse, which I definitely leverage to ensure we're making informed hiring decisions. Greenhouse makes it easy to show where things are blocked and where process improvements can be made.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting can continue to be enhanced. Right now, it has primarily basic reporting functions. Oftentimes, I have to export the data and then kind of play around with it and filter it outside of the app. I would love to do more of it inside of the app or inside of the platform itself.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to centralize candidate tracking, providing full visibility into hiring. I love the data, reporting, and analytics features for informed decision-making.

 ### 22. Streamlined Recruitment Process with Robust Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria V.

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really enjoy the automated functions of Greenhouse, like having all of our scorecards being sent out and the updated reminders for our hiring managers. The setup was also simplistic, which allowed for an expedited process. I appreciate how quickly we can manage our applicant tracking system since we switched from a much smaller ATS. The automated scheduling function is particularly helpful as it allows us to focus less on scheduling candidates manually. I can send out a link to candidates who already have my calendar, streamlining the process not just for me but also for team interviews.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Not being able to manage your own number of interviews is frustrating. If I want to have only five interviews a day, I have to ask someone else to go into my settings and update that for me. It should be something that I can update in my own account settings. Also, not sending out the candidate invite automatically is a hassle. If I'm setting up the interview for the hiring managers, there should be an automated calendar invite sent out to the candidate. Having it be a two-step process when I'm managing so many different candidates, there are times where it gets missed, and then that candidate doesn't get the invite. It's just a hassle, and I end up having to apologize to the candidate and the hiring manager. It should just be one click.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to automate scheduling, review applicants timely, collect feedback for compliance, and manage recruitment efficiently. Its automated functions help focus less on scheduling, sending links to screen candidates, and managing interviews with team members easily.

 ### 23. Smart email notifications, easy scheduling, and automated reminders that keep interviews on track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the emails notifying me off my actions (moved to stage I schedule for, candidate has added availability), being able to request availability and suggest times, templates, and the automated scorecard reminders that prevent me from having to track down interviewers to submit, reminders to candidates about interviews (I don't think we've had one person miss an interview since, which used to happen frequently!) and the fact that candidates can record their names and enter their pronouns.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

When going to the Candidates page, it would be really nice to have a filter for not only searches assigned to me, but the stages alone that are assigned to me. Right now, it shows candidates in other stages that I do not schedule for such as recruiter screens, which I don't schedule for. It requires filtering by stages and clicking every single stage that I might schedule for.

I also wish there was an option to show candidates which interviewers have the suggested availability, because right now I suggest times that are combined for all interviewers on a loop, and the candidate might only select times that work for one interviewer, not realizing that the availability might only satisfy one interviewer.

It would also be nice to restrict availability entered to the timing of the interview (so they can't enter just 30 minutes if the interview time is listed as 45 minutes). DocuSign integration would be great as well. I also wish I could get reminders from Greenhouse about availability that I requested from a candidate that do not have a response for an allotted amount of time (i.e., you requested availability from Candidate A 3 days ago, but they have still not responded).

Another thing that would be great is being able to assign templates to specific stages of the search, as right now it always defaults to the initial interview and I need to remember to manually change it, sometimes forgetting and confusing the candidate.

Tokens:
One big thing missing from the tokens is adding the interviewer's job title, so in the confirmation email it lists the interviewer's name along with their job title.

For the external invite, it would be ideal if we could customize this so that either in the subject of body of the email, it says the org the interview is with, the interviewer(s) names (particularly handy for loops, where they might have 2+ interviews, it would make it easier for the candidate to know by looking at the calendar who they are meeting with) and the job title.

Another small thing is separating the tokens so that it does not automatically add the long teams link to the email. It just doesn't look super clean, and they should have the link in their actual invite. Another option would be to hyperlink the teams link so instead of Meeting Link: https:// ..... it says "Join Meeting" with the link hyperlinked to look cleaner.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual availability collection is one of the biggest (saves so much time and many back and forth emails), and sending invites (before, we did these manually - one internal and one external, so with loops it would be 4-10 manual calendar invites!). The candidate docs are helpful so I don't have to attach these manually to every invite, along with the scorecard. I no longer have to create a Teams form for feedback, circulate that on the internal interviews, and track down interviewer's to submit and compile into an excel sheet.

 ### 24. Powerful, Scalable ATS for Structured, Data-Driven Hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is a powerful and thoughtfully designed applicant tracking system that truly shines when it comes to structured, scalable hiring. Its interview scorecards, hiring workflows, and reporting tools make it easy to run fair, consistent, and data-driven recruiting processes. The platform integrates smoothly with a wide range of HR tools, and its API and automation options are especially strong for growing or enterprise teams.

The user interface is clean and intuitive for recruiters and hiring managers, and Greenhouse does a great job promoting best practices in inclusive and collaborative hiring. Features like interview kits, structured feedback, and DE&I reporting help teams stay aligned and reduce bias. Overall, Greenhouse is an excellent choice for companies that take hiring seriously and want a robust, long-term ATS solution.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse can feel overly complex and rigid, especially for smaller teams or companies with simpler hiring needs. The setup and customization process is time-consuming, and many workflows feel locked into Greenhouse’s “approved” way of hiring, which can be frustrating if your team prefers flexibility. Common changes often require admin access or workarounds that slow things down.

The user experience for candidates and hiring managers can also feel clunky at times, with too many clicks and notifications. Reporting, while powerful, isn’t always intuitive and often requires significant configuration to get meaningful insights. On top of that, Greenhouse is expensive compared to many ATS alternatives, making it hard to justify for organizations that don’t fully use its advanced features.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps recruiters manage the full applicant lifecycle — from initial application to offer and onboarding — in a centralized system rather than spreadsheets or email threads. It keeps applicant data, statuses, and feedback all in one place to avoid chaos and information silos.

 ### 25. Efficient for Recruiting, Needs Better Dashboard Functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teresa I.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is easy to use and the fast customer support via live chat is impressive. I enjoy the job wrapping feature, particularly how well it works with LinkedIn and other job boards. The stage automation is another great feature as it speeds up our process significantly, moving pipeline communications and case studies along faster with less manual effort.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Dashboards and reporting are not 100% reliable. Dashboards require a lot of filtering to get to the view you actually wanna work on or share with other stakeholders. We cannot use it to track KPIs as there's still limitations in what we can actually add as a widget for custom reports.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for pipeline tracking, job boards, and approvals tracking. It's easy to use with fast customer support and features like stage automation that speed up processes. Job wrapping works well with LinkedIn.

 ### 26. Streamlines Hiring with Customizable Pipelines

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tetiana M. | Recruitment Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like being able to easily customize the pipeline and the process for each role I'm working with in Greenhouse. It's really helpful to ensure that everything stays consistent and that each hiring management team is satisfied with the flow, the pipeline, and the process itself. Also, the team from Greenhouse was really helpful during the initial setup, which made the process enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Sometimes it shows potential duplicate warnings for irrelevant situations. We have people with the same name but with different phone numbers or emails, and the system still thinks it's a duplicate.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse saves all candidate information, aligning hiring management teams and ensuring a consistent flow in the pipeline. I can easily customize the pipeline and process for each role, which keeps everything consistent and satisfies the hiring teams.

 ### 27. Intuitive ATS with Great Integration and Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abigail K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse incredibly user-friendly, which stands out compared to other similar software like Workday and Taleo. Its intuitive interface significantly reduces the ramp-up time for our TA team, making onboarding much quicker and more seamless. I appreciate the excellent support team, consisting of chat and assigned customer success managers, who are consistently responsive to immediate concerns. The product team is impressive, constantly iterating and rolling out new features that enhance the usability of Greenhouse for talent acquisition teams. Moreover, Greenhouse integrates effectively with other platforms within our tech stack, such as Calendly, BrightHire, and UKG, which streamlines various processes such as scheduling and interview management. Overall, Greenhouse makes the application process easy for candidates and simplifies our recruiting efforts across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some features are not currently built into Greenhouse. I want a feature that allows copying permissions from one user to another, which would streamline the process of managing user roles. Additionally, the lack of capability to revise referral links and the limited fields available for API connections are constraints that need attention. The integration with Calendly could be enhanced to allow scheduling directly from the candidate view instead of just the candidate pipeline view. Also, the filters in the candidate search/application review section need to be more effective, which would improve the overall recruitment workflow.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for easy candidate application processes, seamless integrations with platforms, and it provides an intuitive user interface for quicker team ramp-up. The platform's support is responsive, and continuous improvements by the product team enhance its value.

 ### 28. Greenhouse is a powerful ATS, it excels in flexibility, collaboration & data-driven decision-making.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy O. | Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

User-Friendly Interface: Greenhouse boasts an intuitive interface that is easy to navigate, making it accessible for both HR teams and hiring managers. The dashboard provides a clear overview of the recruitment pipeline, which enhances visibility and management.

Customizable Workflows: One of Greenhouse’s standout features is its customizable workflows. Organizations can tailor their hiring processes to fit specific needs, allowing for various stages of interviews and assessments. This flexibility can significantly improve candidate experience and collaboration among team members.

Collaboration Tools: The platform encourages collaboration among hiring teams through features like shared notes, feedback forms, and interview scorecards. This functionality promotes a more cohesive hiring process and ensures that all team members are aligned on candidate evaluations.

Integrations: Greenhouse integrates seamlessly with a variety of HR tools, job boards, and sourcing platforms, which helps streamline the recruitment process further. This connectivity is a significant advantage for organizations looking to build an efficient tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting capabilities could be more advanced, especially for detailed or custom metrics. The mobile app needs to be improved. It offers very little functionality. It's hard to navigate and the usability is very limited.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks, Greenhouse helps reduce time-to-hire, making the recruitment process more efficient.

 ### 29. Customizable and Intuitive Recruiting Solution with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenden M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse primarily for both external and internal recruiting. It helps us streamline our job postings and provides more access to the candidates we are searching for, along with reporting capabilities that go beyond typical expectations in an ATS. I love how customizable and intuitive it is. Despite our company's industry not being unique, the way we do business is, and Greenhouse allows us to create postings and add custom data that’s unique and important to us. Even out of the box, it gets new users up and running quickly, and they offer a simple way to add our own unique questions and workflows without over-complicating things. They also provide a very detailed step-by-step guide to help set up the account. I appreciate that support through a dedicated representative who reviews my setup weekly.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There's only a couple things that come to mind. 1) There is a bit of a learning curve. Some of the features can be a bit confusing for people who aren't too familiar with the system yet. 2) Where there are a decent amount of customizable features, I could see some companies feeling limited who want to really have full control over every little feature/display, etc.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines our job postings, expands our candidate access, and offers advanced reporting capabilities.

 ### 30. Greenhouse Keeps Hiring Organized and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radulescu I. | Team Leader Recruitment Operations , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like best about Greenhouse is how easy it makes my day-to-day work. From managing candidates to collecting feedback and tracking progress, everything feels organized and efficient. It allows me to focus more on candidate experience rather than manual processes.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing I find challenging about Greenhouse is that some workflows can feel slightly rigid, especially when hiring processes need to be adapted quickly. While structure is a strength, more flexibility in certain stages would make it even more efficient.

If I had to point out something, I would say that reporting can sometimes require extra configuration to extract very specific insights. It’s powerful, but not always immediately intuitive for complex analytics.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse solves the problem of fragmented and unstructured hiring processes. By centralizing candidate data, communication and feedback in one platform.

 ### 31. Great Organization, Needs Improved Scheduling

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the organization of how to set up a job in Greenhouse. I also like that my candidate pages are organized with sections like application, scorecard, and activity feed. It makes it a lot easier to follow along and find candidates' information or their current status in the pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I am not happy with how scheduling works in Greenhouse; it needs improvement. I wish there were options for selecting 'alternate' interviewers rather than 'and.' It would also be great to have templates for candidate calendar invites instead of generic ones with no customization. I am also disappointed that email templates don't allow bolding or changing fonts.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse organizes applicants, jobs, and interviewers, making candidate pages clear with applications, scorecards, and activity feeds. It simplifies following along and finding candidate information or status in the pipeline.

 ### 32. Still Room to grow

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It seems to be liked by Recruiters and people who use front-end. Integrations with some tools run smoothly

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The lack of customization opportunities and backend possibilities. Also how slow the connectors are.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling others to access Greenhouse data and systemic functionality, as is my job.

 ### 33. Greenhouse has been an upgrade but there is always room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the built-in DEI/reduced-bias efforts and organization. Library/resources are nice.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Pulling the metrics we need hasn't been as clear or simple as I expected and I don't understand the reasons why. Filtering through candidates also isn't as great as I'd hoped.

Navigating through the application isn't intuitive for most of our employees.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing/housing our applicants, how we plan our interviews and the built-in DEI/reduced bias efforts.

 ### 34. Decent Scheduler with Potential for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse to be a fairly stable product that rarely has big coding issues or hiccups. I appreciate its decent scheduling capabilities and the customization it offers. It's helpful for coordinating time zones when scheduling with candidates, making it easier to connect with people across the world. I like the concept of the autoscheduler, especially the ability to send a link to get availability and convert time zones, despite its limitations.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The scheduler for onsites is lacking, they can't record Zoom calls for instant feedback and have to use external partners like BrightHire. Their reporting is really bad and they should just have it use natural language instead of 30 tabs.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse coordinates timezones for candidate scheduling and offers an autoscheduler that converts timezones for global scheduling, though it has some limitations.

 ### 35. Effortless Hiring and Seamless Collaboration with Greenhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gagan P. | People Ops Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse makes hiring less of a circus act. The interface is clean, automations save a ton of time, and collaboration between recruiters and managers actually works smoothly. It’s like someone finally built an ATS that doesn’t hate its users.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse can feel a bit too structured. Customization is limited, reporting can be clunky unless you’re a spreadsheet wizard, and integrations occasionally throw tantrums. It’s powerful, but you’ll probably need patience and coffee to make it bend to your workflow.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse takes the chaos out of hiring. It centralizes everything—job postings, interview scheduling, candidate feedback—so you’re not chasing updates across a dozen tabs. The structured hiring workflows keep interviews consistent and fair, while analytics help spot bottlenecks before they waste weeks. In short, it saves time, keeps everyone aligned, and stops recruiting from feeling like a group project gone wrong.

 ### 36. Business Development Representative

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse provides a clear, structured workflow that makes it easy to manage candidates through every stage of the hiring process. The visibility across pipelines and collaboration tools between recruiters and hiring managers are especially helpful for keeping everyone aligned.Greenhouse streamlines recruiting by improving efficiency, consistency, and data tracking. It’s easier to identify what’s working (and what’s not), so we can continuously improve our hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Some functions can feel a bit rigid — especially when customizing workflows or reports. It’s powerful, but not always as intuitive as it could be. While Greenhouse is strong on structure and compliance, that same rigidity can make it harder to adapt quickly or tailor workflows for unique roles or teams.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us manage a high volume of searches more efficiently and track every touchpoint with candidates and clients. By having everything centralized, we can move faster, stay organized, and provide our partners with real-time updates — which builds trust and keeps relationships strong.

 ### 37. Highly Intelligent ATS with Deep Customization and Data Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela P. | Recruiter Senior, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

This is a highly intelligent ATS that offers a wide range of customization options tailored to different contexts. It enables you to work in an efficient, integrated, and comprehensive manner. One of its greatest strengths is the depth it provides for data analysis, allowing you to explore insights extensively.
During the implementation phase, Greenhouse's Team was extremely attentious and made everything easiest. Even with some language and cultures difference, they didn't made it a barrior and was always putting a lot of effort on making it as soft as it could. This was very important for us to have a successful implementation and Roll Out.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While the interface is straightforward and the features and icons are logically organized at each stage of the journey, I feel it could be made a bit more user-friendly. Additionally, some custom field details do not always fit the needs of users from other countries and cultures, like Brazil. It would be great to have options for further localization to better accommodate customers of different nationalities.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has greatly improved the efficiency of our processes by centralizing everything in one place. Additionally, it allows us to ensure a more unique, unbiased, and structured hiring process, while also providing an excellent candidate experience. Furthermore, it encourages us to adopt better practices that focus on data quality.

 ### 38. Highly Customizable ATS with Great Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the customizable nature of everything within Greenhouse. The ability to customize specific features like pipelines, interview kits, templates, and reports is at the top of my list. It's incredibly valuable for me to have customizable reports per project or over multiple projects, especially since I have about 30+ Hiring Managers who want data at their fingertips. Greenhouse is set up to ensure organization is always paramount, and access to the data I need to make quick decisions is at my fingertips. I also have LinkedIn Recruiter connected through RSC Connect, which makes Greenhouse even better for my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The LinkedIn Recruiter interface within Campaign Pools could use development improvements, as could the ability to turn off access to posting job board details for internal-only job boards. Internal job boards should have very easily turned off access to prevent other users from accidentally sharing internal-only details.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse ensures organization is paramount, provides quick access to needed data, and allows integration with LinkedIn Recruiter, enhancing my workflow. Its customizable pipelines, interview kits, templates, and reports make it incredibly valuable, especially with 30+ Hiring Managers needing data at their fingertips.

 ### 39. Effortless Integration and Customization with an Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Easy interface, very easy to navigate, pleasant and intuitive UI, good integration with BambooHR, JIRA, Azure etc, and very simple to change settings and customize fields in the backend.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Using document templates for sending out contracts is a very clunky process, formatting is really bad and very difficult to edit once uploaded.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Funnelling applicants from a variety of sources
Easy capture of screening and interview notes with templates
Integration with two key systems - BambooHR and JIRA

 ### 40. I’ve been using Greenhouse since 2019, and it is a reliable and effective ATS.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niki D. | Talent Acquisition Operations Team Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is extremely intuitive and user-friendly, which makes it easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to adopt. I really like the structured interview kits, automated workflows, and how customizable the platform is to fit different hiring processes. The reporting and analytics features are very powerful, and the wide range of integrations with other tools makes it easy to connect Greenhouse with our existing tech stack, streamlining the entire hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While Greenhouse is a strong ATS overall, the reporting could be more flexible, especially when trying to combine different data points into one view. The mobile app is also somewhat limited compared to the desktop version — it’s great for quick updates, but more advanced features would make it much more useful on the go.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps streamline and organize the entire hiring process, from posting jobs to managing candidates and collecting interview feedback. It solves problems like inconsistent interview processes, lost candidate information, and lack of visibility into the hiring pipeline. For our team, this means faster, more structured hiring, better collaboration among recruiters and hiring managers, and data-driven decisions that improve overall hiring quality.

 ### 41. Streamlined Hiring with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelia H. | Research Project Lead

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for scheduling interviews, offer letters, and background checks, and I really appreciate how it helps everything run smoother. It's so quick and very easy to use. I find it super great for sourcing as well, and the whole process is seamless. I really like the ability to integrate the schedules for hiring managers into the app, so I can see their schedules when I schedule them, which makes the process quicker and smoother for both me and the hiring managers. The resume loading feature is another aspect I like because it allows me to review resumes without having to press a button, enabling me to go through all of them quicker and reject or advance candidates quickly. I also found the Greenhouse tutorial guides and the text now feature very helpful, especially when initially figuring things out.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find the offer letter tagging a bit cumbersome because it's a lot to always update a new tag into Greenhouse. Also, I wish there was a way to sort resumes by questions while reviewing them, which would make the process more efficient.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse makes everything run smoother, it's quick and easy to use. It's seamless for sourcing, integrating schedules for hiring managers, and loading resumes which speeds up candidates' responses and helps me process them faster.

 ### 42. Best tool to manage your referrals and track them

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubhank S. | Support Analyst, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate being able to refer my friends to any open position at my company directly through the Greenhouse recruiting portal, and I also like that I can track the progress of their recruitment.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The functionality is quite limited. I’m unable to use this on my mobile phone, which is disappointing. Additionally, if dark mode were available, I think it would greatly improve the appearance.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used Greenhouse Onboarding during my own onboarding process, and it really helped me avoid having to follow up multiple times. I was able to upload all the necessary documents and complete the required tasks directly through the portal. Now, I use Greenhouse Recruiting to refer my friends to the company and track their progress easily. I also receive a unique referral link that I can share with my friends, allowing them to apply for positions as my referrals. This feature is very convenient.

 ### 43. Streamlines Hiring with Customizable Solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse primarily for its applicant tracking features and I like the ease of scheduling interviews, offer creation, and customizability. The many integrations available in Greenhouse are also a big plus. Our offers have many nuances, and the customizability with features like offer fields and sections really helps us streamline making offers easier. The automated and manual scheduling options, especially the 'schedule all' option, have been very helpful and nicely line up interviews for me.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think there is room for improvement with the job creation aspect of Greenhouse. For example, I do not believe I can use a job description template. It would be nice to have sections for things that remain a constant like the "WHO ARE WE" section, in our case. So, better to have an Intro section that is set from Settings and constant (but we can change if need be). I would like better options for posting remote positions where a specific place is unnecessary or we can list an entire country or set of countries. For example, we have salespeople that cover the UK and The Nordics.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to manage job creation, distribution, and applicant tracking. It simplifies scheduling interviews and creating customizable offers. The integrations save time, and the 'schedule all' option helps align interviews effortlessly.

 ### 44. Flexible and Automated Recruiting Powerhouse

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Astghik G. | Talent Acquisition EMEA

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate Greenhouse for its flexibility and robust reporting features, which allow me to customize according to my specific needs. The process automation tools are a standout attribute, as they significantly save time by streamlining operations. Additionally, Greenhouse provides a scalable platform that supports growth and offers better automation and customization than our previous product, BreezyHR. I find the initial setup process very easy, especially with the guidance provided. Overall, these features substantially enhance our recruiting process.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I feel there could be more flexibility in reporting. It would be nice to combine different segments and have better integration with Teams for reminders. Also, I wish it worked better with the MS package to export reports easily. Plus, Greenhouse doesn't work with the tools we have.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for pipeline management and process automation, which saves time and helps track success with data. It offers flexibility and customization to our needs.

 ### 45. Head of Total Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalia H. | Head of Total Rewards, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The product stands out for its ease of implementation, reliable customer support, and the wide range of features it offers.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Limited flexibility in customizing review forms and rating scales.

Weak analytics and reporting compared to dedicated performance tools.

No built-in calibration or distribution curve features.

Poor visibility of past review cycles for managers and employees.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps to standardize and organize the hiring process across different teams, making it more consistent. It brings all candidate data and communications together in a single system, which streamlines information management. Collaboration and accountability in recruiting are improved, as team members can easily work together and track progress. The analytics provided offer clear insights into the hiring pipeline and the quality of hires. Additionally, the platform enhances the candidate experience by ensuring communication is transparent throughout the process.

 ### 46. Feature-Rich ATS with Room for Reporting Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I think Greenhouse is okay. It has a lot of features, such as jobs, candidates, and a CRM. It also provides profiles where I can put private notes and create notifications. There's a lot of integrations, for example, with DocuSign, allowing us to send offers to candidates. The important thing for me is having everything in the same place, which adds value since these features are pretty standard with other solutions.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I mean, everything related to reporting. It's just like reporting is really bad. Approvals, automations and things like that, not the best. With approvals, having more flexibility into how to set those up. Also, GDPR configurations can be improved. Like, things like that, I think, are things that could be improved.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to manage our candidates and applications, schedule interviews, and manage our pipeline. It keeps everything organized in one place, which is valuable.

 ### 47. Streamlined Hiring with AI and Seamless Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne H. | Talent Acquisition Manager

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate Greenhouse for its ease of use in creating filtering systems and setting up templates, which significantly enhance our recruitment process from the start to the offer letter. These features allow us to maintain consistency in our messaging while offering the flexibility to customize according to our company's needs. The use of AI in Greenhouse is another standout feature, providing quick options to summarize scorecards, locate candidates, and develop messaging, thereby streamlining our workflow and boosting productivity. Additionally, the efficient management of candidates through these systems allows us to focus on priority candidates in our queue, further improving our team's productivity. Switching from iSolved Hire to Greenhouse was a strategic decision driven by the need for better documentation and reporting options, which Greenhouse provides. These improvements have kept us more efficient, especially in scheduling interviews. Overall, Greenhouse addresses our internal hiring and recruiting needs very effectively.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find the integration between Greenhouse and Workday flawed, as updates in Workday do not always mirror in Greenhouse, leading to complications, especially since both systems are newly implemented. The lack of fully customizable offer approval settings is another area where Greenhouse could improve. Currently, there is only one default setting for offer approvals, and adding more flexible options, particularly in the settings tab to allow multiple logic flows, would significantly enhance functionality. The initial setup of Greenhouse was challenging since our HRIS integration wasn't live until six months post-implementation.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to manage candidates efficiently, streamline reporting, and boost productivity with AI filtering. It allows us to focus on priority candidates, customize messaging, and enhance consistency from recruitment to offer approval.

 ### 48. Highly Efficient, Intuitive, and Customizable ATS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James G.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse incredibly easy to use. Its intuitive design makes navigating through the system straightforward, reducing any potential confusion or stress when managing candidates. I appreciate the customization options available in Greenhouse, allowing for a tailored experience that aligns better with our unique hiring needs. From a candidate's perspective, the application process through Greenhouse is quick and efficient, significantly enhancing their experience by simplifying how they apply for positions. This seamless application experience helps maintain candidate engagement throughout the hiring process, which is crucial in our competitive job market. Overall, I would rate Greenhouse highly because it stands out as one of my preferred applicant tracking systems, offering a comprehensive and user-friendly interface.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find it challenging to manage multiple accounts within Greenhouse because my organization oversees different companies with distinct branding, values, and hiring processes. This situation requires me to regularly switch between separate Greenhouse accounts, making it cumbersome to handle everything under one system. It would be beneficial to have a feature that allows for creating sub-branding or secondary-company profiles within a single parent account and the ability to toggle between different entities more seamlessly.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to manage candidates and track applicants, keeping potential candidates engaged. It’s customizable and easy to use, providing a better candidate experience with its intuitive CRM capabilities.

 ### 49. Customizable, Intuitive, and User-Friendly with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah P. | Director of Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I appreciate that Greenhouse is quite customizable, intuitive, and user-friendly. I especially like the chat feature, which allows any user to get assistance and guidance on where to go. I also value how simple it is to tailor the platform to fit an organization's brand, as well as the wide range of integrations available.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There are some strange limitations in the settings when it comes to integrations. For instance, there are restrictions on when a background check can be processed automatically.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform has been instrumental in modernizing our recruiting and onboarding processes. It allows us to stay more proactively connected with candidates, which has made communication much smoother. Managers and leaders can easily add their own prospects, and the ability to incorporate referrals directly into the system is a significant advantage. Additionally, the seamless integration of onboarding with our HRIS system, UKG, has streamlined our workflow considerably.

 ### 50. Customization Powerhouse with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johanna K. | STR

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I can't go back to another software after using Greenhouse. I find Greenhouse incredibly valuable for its customization capabilities. The ability to tailor hiring stages, interview questions, scorecards, and email templates to fit our unique needs is particularly beneficial. I also appreciate the streamlined process for tracking metrics and sending follow-up emails to collect interview feedback, as it enhances the visibility and efficiency of our hiring process. Additionally, compared to more basic ATS platforms I've used in the past, Greenhouse stands out with its scalability. Having a single, central system for record-keeping simplifies our operations and integrates seamlessly with other tools we use, such as our HRIS Rippling, ad platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn, and the texting add-on Grayscale. Moreover, the visibility into interview feedback is noticeably better, providing us with meaningful insights to improve our recruitment strategies. I also found the initial setup process to be fairly easy, as it was designed to be understandable and allowed me to handle most of the setup independently as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, with minimal assistance from HR or IT.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

1. No native texting to candidates. 2. There's no dedicated space to work on interview question templates without tying them to specific jobs. 3. I want more AI functionality to recommend role matches in the CRM and prioritize applications for open jobs. 4. It lacks automated reminders based on what the users do/don't do (if candidate does not reply in X days, do Y) (if candidate is in stage for X days, do Y). 5. Setting up the infrastructure feels daunting; without proper guidance, the full potential of Greenhouse and its CRM is underutilized. 6. I find it frustrating that I can't bulk save candidates as prospects while migrating their specific source, as it forces me to save the same source for all. 7. Bulk changing CRM pools isn't as straightforward as it should be. 8. The interface can be complex for lower tech hiring managers, and simplifying it would greatly enhance usability. 8. Cheaper/better integration with the Predictive Index.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse solves application management, facilitates hiring stage customization, automates communication, and improves interview feedback visibility. It offers scalable system integration and better metrics, enhancing our overall recruitment efficiency.
