"It's so easy for the pumper..."

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

Basically, it's easier for all of us to see what the production is. Our pumper puts it in, and everyone is able to check out production reporting numbers without having to track him down. This is especially important because our data must be submitted in a timely manner to the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). Also, are production totals are no longer an 'estimate'... they are now much more accurate than they were before we started using the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Recommendations to others considering GreaseBook:

The app gets a 10 for accuracy and timeliness of reporting data. Also, the ease for the pumper is great. He can put it in on his phone right at the well site... he doesn't have to go looking for his paper gauge book. It's been wonderful so far! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

What I like best is being able to compile everything into one source and see everything in one view. And, the biggest ROI is communication of our mission to our entire team. Essentially, to be able to throw everything from Greasebook up on the big screen with our pumpers in a production meeting, to see visualize our input changes and what the effect they had on our production, and to communicate cause/effect relationships to our team has been really beneficial. The team no longer questions why we're doing something... they know where we're headed and what we need to do, and precisely what our desired effect is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Nothing. I've already told several other operators about the app, and we're acquiring a new field which we'll also be managing with the Greasebook. Also, as a side note: the ability to share this information with our partners and our investors so they can see what we're doing every day, that transparency has stopped a lot of phone calls and needs for meetings which has given us time back. What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

We've seen a number of benefits, but the biggest benefit to us is the instant recall on our production in our production meetings. In the past, this was a little bit out of site and out of mind. Now, we're able to trend and look back 30, 60, 90 days at the cause and effect relationships of our inputs which enables us to measure improvement OR no change in production, then move on with a new set of inputs in the field. "Great tool to confirm and verify your pumpers..."

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

One of the main benefits is being able to see our production in real-time in the office as well as being able to check up on our pumpers. And because we're able to capture the data a lot faster, we're also able to make adjustments to our production on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GreaseBook solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had a spill at one of our locations, and one of the land owners sent us photographs of the issue. With the Greasebook, we're able to go back and not only see when the last time our pumper was out on location but also verify his production numbers. As it turned out, he had no idea about the spill as he was entering random numbers each day into the app and hadn't been out to the site in several weeks. Unfortunately, we had to let him go. However, it it wasn't for the Greasebook and the ability to verify the time stamps of his work and when he said he was there, we would've never known he was simply making up numbers. "Getting Pumpers used to the app is really easy!"

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

Oneof the biggest benefits of the app is near real time data. We're a small company and we don't have scada. But being able to check the production immediately, see how much oil is in the stock tank, to see how much production was made overnight and better communications and back and forth with the pumpers have been a big benefit for us. What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

There are a lot of things we've asked to add to the app, and Greasebook has knocked these out for us. The app is currently an 8 for us today, but I have no doubt it's going to be a 10 as soon as they finish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"With the smallest amount of instruction, anybody can use the app. And that's a big advantage."

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

It's obviously fairly simple. It seems like a small statement, but we have some people in the field who are working with the app who are not technically savvy. The Greasebook is simple enough that with the smallest amount of instruction, just about anybody could use it. And that's a big advantage, because I've worked with other products that are much more complicated and because of that, they take more training and it's much harder for people to figure out what they're doing wrong. What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

They don't have a custom report writer. UPDATE: Since voicing our concern this has been addressed – Greasebook now has a very flexible, very powerful custom report writer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I don't have to worry about where the data is, or who's transcribing it..."

What do you like best about GreaseBook?

To me the benefit is the data that our pumpers and gaugers put in is automatically archived. I don't have to worry about where the data is, who's transcribing it – I know the data is always there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GreaseBook?

Many of my water tanks have oil, and my oil tank has water. The app needs to be able to make transfers between the two dual product tanks. If Greasebook could solve this issue, it would be a 10/10 and would be one of the best programs out there.

UPDATE: the app now does precisely what was requested, and allows for transfers from dual product to dual product tank, as well as dual product to oil or water tanks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
