What do you like best about Graylog?

I like its great flexibility, it is a good tool that works very well and is simple, easy to install and has a great graphical interface that is quite intuitive, and the function of collecting records is not difficult to use, one of the aspects that most I liked it is its ability to capture the sequence of records and analyze and collect, it is and will continue to be a very powerful tool. What do you dislike about Graylog?

The negative of this tool is that it is necessary to have Java to be able to use it, and taking into account that Java will no longer be available very soon, then they should be implemented in another way so that its use is more pleasant. What do you like best about Graylog?

It is a different tool since it is a system of registration analysis where it unifies the operating systems, data of the company and audits and research of the organization, I like it because it is a system with the purpose of maintaining an order within the company a lot More spacious and clean, we are happy because it allows us to save the information and delete any duplicate file offering a more concrete database. the service is very direct, due to the large amount of information that we had to implement to the system, it was thought that it would be complicated to do it manually, but it was quite the opposite is easy and the work does the best job, I recommend them because it worked very Well, it is very easy to use, which makes work much more comfortable and saves time, which in turn saves money. Due to the large amount of information that we have within our organization personally it was necessary to look for a system that will help us eliminate duplicate information and save the most important information by adjusting it in a data base and cleaning the system to have a much Easier to handle the information Graylog allows us to address this problem by providing solutions with its features, in addition to being able to handle the operating systems safely, not as an antivirus system, but its database function is very good. What do you like best about Graylog?

Graylog is a tool that provides a single, centralized system of messages from different sources such as: operating systems, application servers and information systems. Graylog has a great log history search and alert system with atSistemas that allows users to discover how to implement solutions in complex environments, with graylog we have been able to implement very complete solutions to all our systems in the most efficient way, with all the years that I have worked with this platform in our organization I can say with much strength that Graylog is a fast alternative, affordable and viable for our diverse needs of use, in all the years of experience I have working with different software I had never known one as functional as Graylog, in conclusion I consider Graylog to be the best experience you can have when working as it is a very accurate and complete tool to perform thousands of tasks to the systems that make up our organization. One of the factors that limit many people from working with graylog is the price of its service, but personally I think that in order to have software that provides a good service it is necessary to pay a high cost, I would really like graylog developers to evaluate the price of their service and provide much more accessible prices, so that people can acquire Graylog with much more confidence and peace of mind. It is a fantastic tool and what I like most is that it has an excellent design and is easy to configure because the board has what it takes, in addition to doing a good job in the administration part, it is simple and flexible, it is stable and efficient with very powerful functions, I like the detention of amenzacas in addition to the management of records, ease of installation and quite intuitive. What I did not like is that sometimes it can be something confusing that can even spoil the records, in addition to sometimes it can be difficult to use some functions, which can cost a lot of time, also the way to collect the records is not very good , I think I should improve that part a bit, to make it much better. What do you like best about Graylog?

In my work, I often operate with hundreds of Gigabytes of logs related to violations, cyber abuses, attacks, brute force, unauthorized access, and many other types of entries, thanks to Graylog. After discovering it, I have the ability to store everything on the powerful ElasticSearch engine, allowing me to search in a few milliseconds for results even with complex filters on large files. The indexing of Graylog in combination with ElasticSearch has no rivals; it is the best free tool I have ever tried for log retention and subsequent analysis or graphical representation. What do you dislike about Graylog?

I had to repeat the installation 4 times because randomly, after a few days, the entire Ubuntu or Debian machine would crash. I thought it was a compatibility issue, but it was actually due to full storage that left no space for reading and writing to the operating system files. I had to discover this after hours and hours of troubleshooting because by default it is set without limits and it is not mentioned in any tutorial or official docs. Recommendations to others considering Graylog:

Set up a retention profile immediately after installation that suits your storage to avoid the risk of creating more fixed-size storage nodes and crashing the operating system due to a full disk. What problems is Graylog solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to keep track of logs to analyze and retrieve them, as well as export them in the future when necessary, makes me feel at ease because I don't need to configure costly and time-consuming retention and replication systems, as Graylog, in combination with ES, will take care of all this almost transparently. The integration with regex also helps save a lot of time in building complex queries that a traditional database not based on a database like Elastic would use. What do you like best about Graylog?

I use Graylog to view all of the system logs. I am QA Engineer and the Graylog is really helpful for me to find errors in the log, to check everything regarding the system and to review it. What do you like best about Graylog?

Easy of configuration, the intuitive UI makes setting and working with Graylog simple and enjoyable. The Graylog support community is outstanding for an Open source application. plus being able to use the full enterprise features (up to 5GB per day) makes the product that much better for small to medium organizations to get, then running and then ramping it up.
