Gravity has better internal control. You can create personal screens also

Doesn’t accept all credit cards. Few credit cards don’t work

Basic accounting. Gravity software is good alternative on all other tools

Reporting Function - Although we have fixed with supplemental software
Implementation was rougher than anticipated but growth of training/implementation has improved since then
Lack of vendor information flowing through JEs (again, really with reporting)
Connection to outside banks/credit cards

**What problems is Gravity Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gravity has been excellent in responding to our needs with reporting and have helped us integrate to another software platform to perform more in-depth reporting
Gravity was quick to listen to implementation issues and tried to make it right.

**What do you like best about Gravity Software?**

Its a platform which helps our company take control of the Inventory and the entire accounts payable Function. Its Operations are sleek and simple, The Automation in Paybles

**What do you dislike about Gravity Software?**

The support and new updates are a little slow to catch up. For instance Bank Reconciliation Automation can still be improved

**What problems is Gravity Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Automation for Accounts Payables and Supplier Ageing can be better. We would like to link inhouse SCM to Gravity and That would definitely help us go a long way

**What do you like best about Gravity Software?**

After evaluating several enterprise accounting software firms and specialized family office software, we decided on Gravity to manage handful of entities investing in a diverse range of investments. We primarily use basic accounting features and the investment sub-module, which supports multi-entity- and multi-FX transactions.

As with any implementation there will be unexpected challenges, which is why appreciate Gravity's dedication to our success. To this day, I have direct access to Gravity's management and development team and they are always helpful in spending time to understand the problem and designing tailor fit solutions. The application is unique in the way it stores and queries data, and unlike most competing accounting solutions the user can actually access all the data in the background. 

Being built on the Microsoft platform I can see how there is a lot of potential to make this application work for anyone. We have integrated our Outlook with Gravity to handle approval workflows and are now in the process of integrating Power BI for our investment presentation and reporting.

**What do you dislike about Gravity Software?**

There are aspects of this application where the features and UI feel beta (e.g. Investment module, dashboards). Gravity is powerful and customizable, but it takes a technically proficient user to fully leverage those capabilities (data tables, integrations, power bi, workflows).  For our particular use case it wasn't a turnkey solution and remains a constant work in progress, which was partly due to miscommunication during the implementation phase. I have no doubt that Gravity can be customized to fit most company's needs, and I suspect the application will keep on improving over time.

**Recommendations to others considering Gravity Software:**

Have someone technical, experienced with both accounting and data, oversee the project.

**What problems is Gravity Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gravity is working to improve the Investment module and the logic in which it interacts with the general ledger. The result will be a more flexible way to capture certain transactions such as return of capital and transfers-in-kind.

I like that you can work and access the program from any location.

The processing time for postings takes a while to show up, slowing the user down.

We were using a product that was at its end of life.  Gravity was a smooth transition since there were some similarities between the two.

**What problems is Gravity Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am communicating with them on improving some report functions that will help our specific business.  The benefit of it being cloud-based has allowed us to work from home. In the Covid era, this has been the most significant benefit.

**What do you like best about Gravity Software?**

The best feature of Gravity is the ability to manage multiple legal entities and easily consolidate the financials. Before Gravity, our company used QuickBooks which made these tasks very time-consuming and inefficient. Thanks to Gravity switching between legal entities is as easy as selecting from a dropdown. The simplified workflow has saved hours of work per week.

**What do you dislike about Gravity Software?**

The only feature holding Gravity back is the reporting. It meets the basic needs, but it feels outdated, slow, and clunky. Reporting can be enhanced with PowerBI, but this is by no means an easy implementation for none-technical users. My ideal software would merge the rich feature set available in Gravity with the comprehensive and intuitive reporting from QuickBooks. I have been told that Gravity is working on pushing out reporting enhancements and assuming they hit the mark I believe Gravity will become one of the top accounting software on the market.

**What problems is Gravity Software solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Gravity solved for our company is the management of multiple legal entities. There have been noticeable savings in hours associated with the monthly/quarterly financial consolidations.

I wish that there were other connections into 3rd party software such as Expensify.

Gravity is a great fit for companies that need to step up and move away from Quickbooks.

Gravity is allowing our team to be on the same platform; ERP, CRM and Field Service allowing for a 360 degree view of our clients.
