## Hygraph Reviews
  ### 1. Hygraph is a great platform to bootstrap your cms quickly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Revival J. | Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The speed at which I can easily create schemas using the GUI, the storage buckets are also a life saver. The API playground comes in handy when you need to write and test a graphql endpoint as quick as possible

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The fact my project can get deleted within 2-3 months of inactivity, without any archive or backup. And also I have no access to multitherading when I am deploying my apps

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph saves me a lot of time, the speed at which I can complete tasks with just the GUI is so good. I can easily move from projects to projects

  ### 2. Unclear structure, not very user friendly UI

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Flexible data model, which allows developer to structore the project

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It's hard for newbies to find something inside.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bussines domain is responsible for providing content for different markets in different languges.
Developers are only responsible for the web application.
Hygraph allows to separate resposibilites of domains

  ### 3. Great place to hold content, easy to get lost in UI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

- Very easy to update and stage/publish new content
- GraphQL schema makes it easy to integrate into our NextJs/React frontend
- Support for multiple types of code snippets (JSON, GraphQL, etc)
- Search features are good - I am usually able to find what content I need with ease

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

- It's easy to get lost in "slideover hell" - the UI can become very muddled with slideovers and it can be tricky to return to the place you began due to this

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a place to hold all of our static content (docs content, code snippets, blog posts) and we need non-technical users to be able to update and publish these changes. Our technical writers, marketing team, and engineers are all able to successfully use Hygraph

  ### 4. Neat Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The user experience is quite nice, feature I like the most is how flexible is the components architecture. this product is well intended for marketers and developers, in our case we moved from strapi over to hygraph with minor frictions which is nice.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

How content hierarchy is structured withing the admin panel is sometimes difficult to locate a given artifact like a page for example. Its feels like everything is in one single place so doing a visual search is not possible, i would suggest to group more similar artifacts in the content context

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our public website and blog relies on headless CMS, specially when it comes to templating certain pages or reusable sections across our sites, this tool is quite resourceful in such tasks

  ### 5. Frontend developer from Dr.Oetker

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajdin . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Easy to use, great api, nice ui for developers - api playground, fast to setup, environments.

Great customer support, always almost immediate. I'm using it daily becasue we're migrating new brands to Hygraph.
Integration is really good easy one with NextJS specialy.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Ui for editors. Cloning environments a bit slow. Documentation for management sdk is not up to date.

Documentation for SDK is incomplete. More examples needed for advanced things like MULTI BRAND approach.
Not having option to use rich text editor embeded with components

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is solving API for us, and easy way to create and update content. Caching also works nice. Images transformation from my perspective needs and additional param back to user when we transform/crop image, the sizes of images are needed. Because sometimes you just want to have image fit to 300px width but you don't know the height because you wanted that image keep natural aspect ration and in that case I coudn't get height size from Hygraph and it would improve content jumping on initial render

  ### 6. A solid platform that's getting better every day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Implementing the tool was a straightforward process and we've not faced any issues with Hygraph so far.

We're super happy with Hygraph as our CMS and we don't see ourselves moving out of it for years to come. It's lightweight, configuration has been a breeze, and uploading content has only gotten easier over the years. Formatting especially has improved massively over the years, and I'm excited to see how the platform grows and what the Hygraph team has in store for the future.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Nothing that comes to mind as of now. The devs are doing great work - kudos to the entire team behind the product!

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us keep a whole library of webpages organized. Getting content from document to website has been a faster, smoother process. GraphCMS has helped our webdev team keep loading times low and empowered our marketing teams to publish content independently with minimal intervention.

  ### 7. Schema Design made easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph has its visual schema builder. It’s intuitive, powerful, and it lets you update content structures dynamically without backend redeployments.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It has fewer native integrations compared to platforms like Contentful or Strapi

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When a new API version is released, Hygraph ensures that existing integrations remain functional, allowing teams to adopt updates at their own pace.

  ### 8. Great tool for use directly out-of-box

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel V. | Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's easy to setup, integrate and use in your system or platform. They are also active on teaching/learning and provided some talks in our company showcasing the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

We miss a page builder with a rich preview.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us time when in need to implement a content management system that is easy to use and we can put directly in non technical hands.

  ### 9. Clunky process but gets the job done

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's an effective way to post articles to our website.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The process is annoying and it often doesn't let me copy posts, so I have to start from scratch.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting company announcements onto our website.

  ### 10. Exceptional Features and Seamless Experience with Hypgraph

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Cool-some of the features impress me, but I like how straightforward yet customizable the interface feels. Navigation remains intuitive while allowing personalization. Besides, Hygraph's strong content modeling and seamless integration potentials have substantially streamlined the processes for us. As a matter of fact, because of those attributes, content management has become much more efficient and really tailored-in fact, organization and collaboration feel enhanced because of it.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Honestly, a nicer welcome would be great. As it is, the helping hands and instructions feel a bit sparse. A more comprehensive set of step by step guides and manuals would help newbies get settled in quicker and make the most of the app’s many cool features.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph answers a lot of significant challenges that are being faced by businesses in their usual content management and distribution (in a way). It enables the fragmentation of content over various platforms. The result: messages are all over the place, brand guidelines go out the window and vast amounts of time are wasted… just to name a few.

Good resource management with Hygraph. This made things easier and also saved a lot of time. They make it simple to use an API-driven approach, integrating and distributing the content across websites and apps without getting bogged down in a never-ending loop of requests for updates.

Additionally, dealing with multi-language content —script or data— but the flexibility is an important advantage. However, for an international organization, it is a complex task as you need to speak to a multitude of people in different languages and dialects. Hygraph simplifies it, which solves your problem to manage variety of versions of content.

  ### 11. Good tool with a bit of a learning curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Creates great looking case studies ready to be launched publicly. Has all the tools and features we were looking for under one platform. We were able to launch with the tool and use it immediately. Easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

There was a bit of a learning curve on how to best use the tool. A lot of the content is siloed and then you have to piece it all together which is challenging at first, but then once you have a lot of content it actually makes it easier to reuse and put together.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph helps me, a non engineer, create web content and case studies that are easy and ready to be published online.

  ### 12. I use Hygraph in my web dev team as a CMS for our company website Tezos.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iurie N. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

How is easy and how fast is to get content straight to our staging environment before having it in production. Updates are lightining fast!

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Some guys in theam find that Hygraph’s interface can be complex and might have a steep learning curve. An example is when searching globally for a content within all the pages.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updating the content of our web page without having to redeploy our website and touching the code in the repo.

  ### 13. Marketing Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carly H. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

As a marketing manager, Hygraph allows me to update content, make changes to the website, track changes, revert changes, schedule changes. This makes for easy maintenance of the website and content

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I dislike the four bars on the left hand side, I often find them clunky, with the nomenclature not as clear to what I would think of

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Website maintenance
Tracking changes
Uploading pages
Scheduling page updates
Update assets on platforms
Launching products

  ### 14. Hygraph, watch out my back!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is very easy for the initial setup and learning specifically to the beginners like me.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph doesn't offer frontend components so i had to build the UI myself, which increased my development time.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph supports third party tools and services integration makes it versatile for users. i.e as my team consists of freshers so they don't find difficulties while integration as they find in other platforms like Amazon.

  ### 15. t’s great for scaling content delivery across multiple platforms, such as web, mobile, and IoT.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarthak S. | Data Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS) is a powerful content platform, especially if you're looking to build headless CMS solutions with GraphQL

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

While Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS) has many strengths, there are a few areas that could pose challenges or limitations depending on your needs. Here's what some users, including myself, might find less appealing

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS) is a modern headless CMS that addresses a range of problems typically faced in content management and delivery

  ### 16. Super easy to use CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William E. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

My favourite thing is how easy and quick it is to build GraphQL queries

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Could do with an entry level pricing, I predominantly use it for small business sites and apps I'm prototyping but alot of clients can't afford the current entry level price point and opt for me to build something different instead.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph creates me a quick and easy to use DB that's really quick to get off the ground and create functioning web applications quickly

  ### 17. Reliable and clean usability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lea M. | Travel Planner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I have been using this product for 3+ years and have never had a failure, glitch, or error. It's consistent and reliable, integrated with other products, and easy to use once the user has some basic experience with it.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It can be somewhat daunting, as there are multiple options for users to click into and get lost in without clear and easy-to-understand naming. It would be helpful if sorting or other settings could be more easily implemented for less savvy users.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It stores and maintains our content library, and ties in with ClickUp, which is our sales management system.

  ### 18. Seamless experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro V. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The speed and how easy it is to use. Also the image formatting

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I misses a ver basic hands on guide on how to start.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed. Also for small projects that have projection, you can host static sites in netlify or similar and achieve blazing speed storing images with Hygraph. And when you scale you have everything setup

  ### 19. Easy to use but has everything I need

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio R. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

They have incredibly cool tutorial videos that get you up and running in no time. Also the GraphQL tools are outstanding and help you create the most complex queries in jo time. I also appreciate the free tier.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I would love to see model singletons, which is not a showstopper but Dato has it.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowing me to keep content and UI apart in an easy way

  ### 20. One of the best headless graphQL-based CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto A. | Graphic designer, Web developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Great UI and dev experience, generous free plan, quick support

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

A few missing features such as support for single page models and a proper visual editor/preview. The paid plans are too expensive for small/medium-sized EU clients who want more than the free plan but can't afford 200$/month.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a place to store text and images often with complex structures that are not achievable with simple blog-oriented platforms. Managing multiple websites for different clients from the same account has been super helpful.

  ### 21. GraphQL Headless CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Byron R. | Technology & Product Consultant / Fractional CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

As an engineer, I love that it uses modern technologies (GraphQL) in an API-first approach, and that it is farily cost effective (and free for personal use).

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

A slightly lower price point between the free and lowest tier paid plans would be ideal, and the additional cost of $1200/y for monthly billing is very steep.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the cost to engineer a CMS, as well as allowing me to pass on the ease of content management to customers for non-standard UIs.

  ### 22. Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph allows seamless integration with REST APIS and third party platforms.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Totally depending on third party services causes higher risk of integration which causes sources failures.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While entering the same data repetative across multiple platforms is handled by automation saves the time and complexity while integration.

  ### 23. Best headless content management system out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokenath K. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It has a very flexible system with models, and it's very easy to customise.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

There is a learning curve to use the system, you need to understand the concept of models and contents.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It as very good GraphQL api, using which let me to efficient quering to fetch only the required data, for a content management system that can have huge amount of data.

  ### 24. An excellent and fascinating CMS

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean L. | System Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

When I discovered Hygraph and saw it working in one of my applications, I was delighted with its simplicity and efficiency in delivering a CMS platform. As a beginner programmer, I was able to easily understand its documentation and implement my first project. Hygraph is simple and robust.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I don't really like the lack of updating the examples on his Github. I think there should be updates to the examples for new versions of React, Next, Typescript, etc.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is providing me with a CMS platform where I can store and manage the content of my applications and my customers in an easy and secure way. Online menu content for restaurants is an example. I don't have to worry about databases and storage.

  ### 25. Recntly discovered Hygraph for my website blog

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

So I've just discovered Hygraph for my website blog and it's API and front end is very appealing and easy to use I find. Not too many functionnalities but just enough. To implement my blogs from Hygraoh to my website has always been quite easy. I use it every week and it took me no time to start integrating my papers.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

With all that in mind, I don't have much to say. Perhaps Hygraph could offer more writting tools for our text. I can't comment on customer support I haven't needed it.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To upload my blog on my website, I've always had a bit of trouble but it's been going good so far here.

  ### 26. Powerful yet simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres Felipe E. | Principal Director, Platform Architecture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Its flexibility to manage everything through APIs, the robust structure capabilities, the localization features, and the simple UI make Hygraph the go-to for every project, no matter the size.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The costs could be scary for PoCs or MVPs; also, the fact that changing the locale ID will make you lose all the translations to that locale makes it difficult to evolve prototypes into products

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Decoupling the copywriting and content management from the development and deployment process and moving the localization to the cloud

  ### 27. A CMS that lets you decide how you structure your work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

As a web developer, I've found Hygraph to be an excellent content management system that significantly streamlines my workflow. Its headless architecture gives me the flexibility to build frontends with my preferred technologies while providing a robust and user-friendly backend for content creators, that doesn't force you to structure your schema and content in a particular way, like other tools do. I love the GraphQL Query Builder, which let's you put together a complex query in no time.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It's a little overwhelming, when you try it for the first time. But the tutorials help a lot.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can create custom content models very quickly that fit each project's unique needs, which is very cost-effective and thus makes my clients happy.

  ### 28. An easy modular approach to managing content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The ability to define schema and content models from a user perspective.

From a developer perspective, it's lightweight and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Maybe the pricing is a bit steep. We had maxed out the components but everything else was below the limit... but instead of paying additional cost to just cover the additional components, we had to upgrade the package entirely

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating new content page types - in our business there isn't really a standard set of pages. And being able to amend/upload content quickly.

  ### 29. Good CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo A. | Software Engineer, Computer Games, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's easy to do implementation to integrate with projects; good documentation; easy to use;

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Can have more options of personalization; native lazy loading images in rich text content; more complex component items

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making time to develop administrator page to our platform short: just put your component in schema and... it's only that, you just must integrate with project

  ### 30. Easy to use and high performing CMS fo e-commerce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandeep K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I have been using Hygraph for few of our e-commerce projects and found it very easy to setup, add locales, define schema and start writing content.
The APIs are very detailed and easy to integrate with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Few things can be improved like the studio ui for easy content editing.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary content management systems for our e-commerce stores

  ### 31. Easy to implement and use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paulo Henrique F. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Ease of use, documentation is very understandable and the API Playground helps a lot.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I didn't find anything that I could infer as a negative point.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to easily create content pages for my blog with title, image and text

  ### 32. Hygraph is amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

When I used Hygraph for my react native projects, I found that it is much much faster and efficent compared to other API platforms like Firebase because the data quality isn't compromised and the experience is still fast.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Not a lot of people in my team knew about it, so there was some resistance to adopting Hygraph.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes the entire process of managing APIs much much better and practical compared to Firebase like I mentioned earlier. Makes development easier and hasslefree.

  ### 33. A lot of options, but very unintuitive and hard to navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom T. | Head of Studio, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's a big platform that gives you a lot possibilities and some of the options give you possibilities to set up more interactive experiences / web pages than it was done before.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It's hard at start to grasp the options that you're getting - the UI/UX of the platform is not super intuitive and you really have to be determined to understand everything and make it work.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows my company to present it's products in a nice way during industry conferences / showcases.

Javascript based projects are built much faster using Hygraph.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It doesn't have perfect integrations with MERN stack.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies the entire process of managing APIs making it much better than Firebase. Makes development easier and hasslefree.

  ### 35. My experience with Hygraph CMS

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a highly customizable CMS that suits the demands of my business.

  ### 36. Hygraph is absolutely amazing.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is really good for API calls, I have had much worse experiences with platforms like Firebase where my data gets compressed. Hygraph is a great alternative to platforms like that.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

My colleagues don't know about Hygraph so they didn't accept it at first. Hygraph could do better at marketing.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph has made the entire API calling process for my open source independent projects really fast and efficient. It's fairly easy to set up as well.

  ### 37. Great developer experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I've worked with Hygraph as a developer for 9 months or so. I've found their documentation to be very robust with man different guides to help get up and running quickly. When working on a mature hygraph project, the documentation has also helped to solve more complex implementation issues. As far as the hygraph platform goes, the developer experience remains very solid. I've really enjoyed the graphql playground as that has saved a lot of time testing queries before implementing them. Its saved me countless hours! Overall I've been very pleased with Hygraph and would choose it again for the use case.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The only complaint I have is that I've run into times where data relationships that have been created can become a little rigid. It owuld be nice to have some easier ways of dealing with data migrations.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is a veyr friendly to use and easy to implement headless cms. It has continued to be easy to work with even as the product it supports has matured. It has grown easily with our tech stack and been a stable and reliable solution.

  ### 38. Powerful CMS with modern features

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines content delivery with its Api fast approach, saving time enhancing cross platforms consistency

  ### 39. Hygraph turned out to be an amazing content management tool for my javascript and android projects.

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The simplicity of the user interface provided by the platform makes it easy for any developer / non developer to manage things on hygraph.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The feature of webhooks. Sometimes the entire project needs to reloaded to explore web hooks which is a bit tiring.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of putting console based applications effortlessly to web and the ease of use.

  ### 40. Wonderful discovery of GraphQL through your platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matija A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is so easy to use that it is not real. Every "problem" we had with hygraph, your platform covered it thoroughly. We left few messages in your Slack community chat and got the answers in half an hour. We are about to embark on a project that uses your platform as their CMS for page views and when I learn new technologies its usualy painful, but with Hygraph, all is good baby... Thanks alot for making this wonderful platform of yours... Best regards from VegaIT Serbia :)

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

This is not dislike in a way but some feedback that may or maynot make sense to you guys. Not long ago we got an offer to maintain an already existing web application that uses Hygraph for CMS. The problem was with signing all FDA papers in order to access the content on Hygraph, with all the birocracy that comes along with it. So my suggestion is that, if it is somehow possible to make a feature to extract just the schema of GraphQL as a file or something, so that someone can just import that schema into their own project and have same template for data entities. Then after tha, development team can just mock as much data as they need. Good for Product Owner good for developers, without any wait time we can jump right into figuring out the entities of the system.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that Hygraph as a platform solves is that there is no need for whole bunch of frontend features for content management. All the problems that come alongside with forms, modals, validtions,... goes away. You get your nice looking UI, you add stuff if needed, edit it with ease. It saves alot of time, its secure and reliable.

  ### 41. Awesome, easy to use, solution for your CMS needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is an awesome tool, with a fast support that makes using the plattform seamless. The implementation is easy and simple as you can access your data across every app, language or channel by just using their graphql-api, examples and sdk. There is currently no major blocker for anything that u need.

The integration in our current systems are easy because we even can access external data in our hygraph content, so manage products e.g. external or embed data from another api's or related companies.

We use it on a daily basis to manage our content and blog and structure of our marketplace.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Major price gap between free and and first premium license which makes it hard to scale from a small startup to a rising company. A pay-as-you-go pricing would be awesome for the free tier.

Some of the UI makes it hard for the marketing and non-tech guys to build rather complex sites and currently no integration for vercel.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage content headless between different apps, sites and much more. Embed and manage external data.

Would be really nice if there was a react naitive library for rendinging rich text fields.
