## Hygraph Reviews
 ### 1. Fast, Familiar CMS Editor with Useful AI and Amazing Hygraph Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Becky L. | UX Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It is similar to other CMS editors I've used in the past so it's nice to have a familiar user experience. It works very quickly, without loading delays and the built in AI capabilities are useful. Also the slack channel we have set up is amazing - to be able to speak directly to members of hygraph whenever we need assistance is key!

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It’s maybe not quite as visual as I’d like. It would be really useful to be able to see the webpage dynamically update as we edit. Also, if it could suggest improvements to the content you’re adding while you build pages, that would help recommend things I might not have thought of.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph has enabled us to add custom content, especially for campaigns. I hope we can use it even more in the future to support additional custom content on our marketplace site. It would also be great to take advantage of some of the integrations to help improve our product for users.

 ### 2. Great CMS but can get even better

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica G. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph offers most of the features I would expect from a high-end CMS; scheduled publishing, customizability of the interface, rich-text editor and more. So far what has made me feel extra good about Hygraph is their swift and helpful customer support.

The localisation is very good and the integration with Lokalise is a great help to our team.

It was very easy to get started, and our editors seem happy with the experience so far.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph are missing some features that I think would elevate it to the next level. For example autosaving entries and being able to save incomplete entries (without required fields).

I would also prefer if there were more settings on fields, for example being able to specify that an assets should be an image, or what dimensions are allowed. Also, lists can't be required which to me seems a bit odd.

The documentation is generally good but sometimes a bit difficult to navigate.

It's also a bit pricey especially since we are a small team, but require some enterprise features. It feels like we are paying for more than we use.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph allows our editors to work independently, so that they can manage the content on our web products without the need of developer interference.

 ### 3. Very easy to use and scalable CSM solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon H. | Head of Product, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

From a Tech aspect , it is very easy to integrate and implement within your environments. From an operational aspect adding content is straight forward for all stakeholders making it easy to scale. Also the Customer Support is very active, responsive and eager to hear user perspective to support and also grow the product

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

If a lot of constant contents changes, the caching may become costly

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our site's contents were hardcoded, making it very cumbersome to maintain, scale and adjust based on all products, marketing and keep up with up to date information for our users. The Dev Team were spending too much capacity on content management update instead of resolving user problem

Hygraph resolved our problem with ability to manage all our site content and even tailor contents we display among users from the same site. It also empowered all our stakeholders from Marketing, Customer Care, Payments, Legal to own their content on the sites without being blocked by development capacity and roadmap priority.

 ### 4. Modern, Fast-Evolving CMS with Frequent Updates and AI Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam N. | Senior Front-End Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The best part about Hygraph is how modern the platform feels compared to other CMS systems I’ve used in the past. It’s also refreshing to see how frequently Hygraph is updated with new features and AI-based integrations, which makes it feel like the product is actively improving.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The main thing I dislike about Hygraph is that it doesn’t have a dedicated tool for merging improvements. To achieve this, we had to build our own custom tool. I’d really like to see a built-in “merge tool” added to make schema merges even easier.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph allows us, as a business, to stay reactive to market changes because we can quickly spin up new pages in Hygraph at speed, thanks to its seamless integration.

 ### 5. Well-Designed Headless CMS Workflow with Brilliant Integration Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Lead Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraphs approach to a headless CMS based workflow is very well put together

This ensured that as a design team we were able to confidently design custom interfaces for handoff with our internal development team knowing that they would be able to implement a custom integration via Hygraph.

With this being a headless CMS it has the added benefit that our internal users of Hygraph benefit from the easy to use interface, rather than relying on development effort to deploy page updates.

Their integration and after sales teams are brilliant - a dedicated Slack channel and various product update meetings really helped ensure that our integration went as smoothly as possible.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Genuinely can't think of anything i dislike about Hygraph - at first i was skeptical due to previously used CMS platforms but I have been pleasantly surprised!

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The translation integration is a big win from my perspective

As an organisation who translate to various languages for all of our global audience we usually spend considerable time and money having to request translations from third party services - with this being built into the Hygraph interface though the barrier to entry for our internal users is greatly reduced which therefore increases their performance and output as they are no longer waiting on costly translation packs

 ### 6. Hygraph: Easy to Use, Fast, and Backed by Great Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The customer support is very good. They are communicative early on updates and maintenance required, leaving us plenty of time to make the necessary changes. Very easy to use platform. I never had formal onboarding and I can find content quickly. Page load speed is good. We have not had any issues integrating with other 3rd party tools.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Looking at the marketplace, Hygraph is a little pricy. I have not been wow'ed by the AI features, but I rarely ever use them. Their leadership played hardball with us for overages that we were going to pay (needed to figure out payment internally), and it did leave a bad taste in our mouth.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick go-to-market marketing campaigns (landing pages) and fast content updates for all our shows and events. Our leadership can make decisions, and the Content team needs to create pages and publish them live within hours.

 ### 7. Very easy to use and feature-packed!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jas R. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I really like how easy it is to configure and use Hygraph! It also supports localizations which makes work easier since we use it for various markets who speak different languages.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I don’t really have any negative feedback to share, except that for a small business it may be difficult to upgrade to a higher tier because of financial constraints.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Hygraph to manage all the content across our sites, and its ease of use makes it the perfect tool for our team.

 ### 8. Clean, Intuitive UI and Easy NextJs Integration with Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The UI is clean and easy to understand and use. Integrating it into our NextJs App was really easy. Only needed a few values from Hygraph and a GraphQL client.
The support is fast and good.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Changing the order of the shown Models in the Content Tab is not possible, unless you create custom view groups.
Not seeing where a model, component or enum is used
The permission system sometimes makes more problems than hoped and requires work around to archive what we want

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need people to able to main content without needing programming skills and without directly interacting with the frontend. This is really easy to do for them with the simple and clean UI

**Official Response from Konstantine Beridze:**

> Hi user!

Thank you for your review, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave it and provide feedback. I've shared it with our product team and they're reviewing already.

Regarding your second concern: Not seeing where a model, component or enum is used - in our Lab, you'll be able to find a feature titled "Schema Elements in Use" which covers this exact use case.

We're always gathering feedback on our UX. If you're open to providing feedback directly to our product team, please note it to our Customer Success team so we can reach out.

Thanks again for your feedback and helping us improve the experience for everyone.

 ### 9. User-Friendly and Easy to Navigate with Timely Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** annie k. | Web Experience & CMS Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like that it is user friendly, easy to navigate, and that their support system is very timely.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The thing I dislike about hygraph is that you need engineering to help create any new components.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is solving the challenge of managing content across multiple platforms from a single source of truth. It gives us the flexibility to structure content in a way that’s reusable, scalable, and easier to maintain, while reducing duplicate work and manual updates.

 ### 10. Versatile and User-Friendly, Yet Needs Enhanced Navigation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Calin L. | Content & Communications Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I really like Hygraph because it allows us to create and structure blogs visually with all the necessary elements like headings and subheadings, making them look good. I also like the capability to upload various image types such as webp, PNG, JPEG, GIF, webp, and mp4 files, which keeps the photos crisp and doesn't take up too much space, solving an issue we've had with large image sizes. It's great that I can see every single image, go back to the beginning, and access everything I've uploaded, which is key for managing content on our website. Another thing I appreciate is the ease of navigation in Hygraph, even though I encounter some clicking when finding specific images. It's also pretty cost-effective and allows multiple users to have access, not just one person, which is something I really appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I really, really would wish there was a key function for sorting by last modified or last uploaded in the content section. Right now, it's just a left arrow and a right arrow, and you have to keep on clicking through, which I don't like at all. Another thing is when editing a blog. It shows it as being published on the same date that you edited it, even if the original post date was earlier. I wish there was an option to display both the creation and last edited dates, and it would be useful if you could turn this feature on and off.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph to create and structure our blogs visually with headings and images. It's convenient for uploading various image types like PNG and JPEG, making my content creation seamless. It also helps maintain our brand identity by allowing flexible image use, enhancing visual alignment with our brand.

 ### 11. Clean, Easy-to-Understand CMS Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve P. | Hygraph Content Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's quite clean and easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It's only easy to use if you are use to other CMS like wordpress with ACF, for people prefer CMS like wix or elementor, it will take them longer time to adapt.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Site are using wordpress lastime, now with Hygraph it's more secure and site are less likely to get attack.

 ### 12. Straightforward with Functional Depth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It was easy to get started and the interface is fairly intuitive (less layered and complex compared to other CMS platforms). We were able to connect our content without much hassle, I think even can be done with no developer. needed. Asking for help via their chat/customer service is also quick. We received feedback and help within the day.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The Hygraph Studio interface can sometimes be a bit buggy (doesn't show full error messages of what to fix and why it needs to be fixed). The documentation isn't as detailed for complex or advanced integration. For complex projects, it can be a bit hard to find the field you want to edit and to know what edits it will cause.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph lets web developers focus on connecting and content creators focus on creating and organizing. Altogether my preferred CMS platform at the moment!

 ### 13. Responsive Support Team That Truly Cares

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The support team is responsive and genuinely invested in finding a solution

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The Management SDK documentation doesn't always keep up with the actual API surface or has not all functions.
The permission system behaves differently than most teams would expect: when a user is assigned two roles, the more restrictive one wins. So if one role grants access to a resource and the other doesn't, the user ends up with no access at all.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To enable game publishers and exhibitors to manage their own content directly.

**Official Response from Konstantine Beridze:**

> Hi User,

Thank you for this honest feedback! I've shared your notes regarding the permission systems with our product team, and they are already taking a look.

They've also done a quick audit of the documentation, identified the gaps, and are working on closing them as soon as possible.

We appreciate your help in improving Hygraph for everyone, and the time you took to leave this review.

 ### 14. An easy modular approach to managing content

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The ability to define schema and content models from a user perspective.

From a developer perspective, it's lightweight and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Maybe the pricing is a bit steep. We had maxed out the components but everything else was below the limit... but instead of paying additional cost to just cover the additional components, we had to upgrade the package entirely

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating new content page types - in our business there isn't really a standard set of pages. And being able to amend/upload content quickly.

 ### 15. Powerful Headless CMS With a Pricing Model That Scales Quickly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Osmar D. | Ops e Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph’s API-first approach and performance are what stand out the most. The GraphQL API is fast, well-documented, and predictable, which makes integration with our frontend stack straightforward. Our developers can query exactly the data they need, which keeps the codebase cleaner and improves performance on the client side

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The main downside of Hygraph for us is the cost structure. As our usage and number of projects grow, the pricing can increase quickly, which makes it harder to justify compared to other headless CMS options in the market. We feel that some features that are essential for growing teams could be more accessible in lower tiers

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, Hygraph solves the problem of managing content for multiple client projects in a scalable way. We can create flexible schemas and environments per project, while still keeping everything under one platform. This makes it easier to maintain, update, and evolve content structures without rebuilding from scratch every time

 ### 16. Efficient, Developer-Friendly CMS with Room for Documentation Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo L. | Software Engineer

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like the way Hygraph makes things easier for developers. The ability to write GraphQL queries directly is a big plus, and it sometimes even allows me to avoid having an API. I appreciate the way you can manage data securely, especially with how you can set up specific permissions for tokens. The draft and publish features are great for previewing content deployments and display. I love that the platform is very user-friendly and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I guess the documentation could be improved. Maybe? I had a lot of issues writing GraphQL queries on the JavaScript site. Sometimes I struggle with the models and the relations I have to do to catch data from different tables together. Maybe the documentation could be something more step by step, ready to go. I was a bit lost in the beginning, and the docs were not helped me that much even because English is not my first language. It could be improved, especially for the onboarding of new users.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph to quickly create and manage databases and APIs, ensuring the platform is interactive and secure. It simplifies managing event data, real-time updates, and controlling user access, making it easy and fun to engage with users.

 ### 17. Great CMS, easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is a wonderful CMS for managing content. I’ve never had any issues with it running slowly, and the user interface feels clean and straightforward. It’s easy for teams to integrate into their workflow and become familiar with quickly.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Can be a little clunky on the UI interface some times. I dont always find going in and out of things always smooth.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

providing a headless CMS system which is more efficient and cost saving than our older one.

 ### 18. Great Web Asset Management with Some Backend Mysteries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sound A.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like that Hygraph is pretty fluid for our use, and I don't really see any obvious problems with it. All the asset uploading functionalities are really good for our business. It makes it a very simple process to upload and transfer the data to our beautiful-looking website that we get to see every day. The decision to use Hygraph was the greatest decision we've ever made. I'm absolutely likely to recommend Hygraph to a friend or colleague, giving it a ten.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Sometimes things are broken on our front end, and Hygraph isn't able to easily tell us why. It's a bit of a guessing game of why something isn't working.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph as the back end for uploading assets, creating a visually appealing and engaging website. Its asset uploading functionalities simplify our process, making it easy to transfer data to our site.

 ### 19. Seamless Content Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Remco M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I find Hygraph incredibly useful for managing our content and building structured content pages. Its intuitive nature as a headless CMS is something I genuinely appreciate, making it easy to use and integrate within our workflow. The GraphQL integration stands out as a key feature, allowing me to query only the fields needed without any excess or bloated data types, simplifying data management significantly. The initial setup of Hygraph was remarkably swift, getting us up and running in about an hour, and its extensible nature means we can easily build on it as our needs evolve.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Nothing really. Hypraph is such an easy tool to use.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph to create structured content pages efficiently with GraphQL integration, eliminating unnecessary data and type bloat. It's easy to set up and extend, providing seamless content management.

 ### 20. Intuitive CMS with Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faizan A. | CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I really like how simple and intuitive Hygraph is to use. The simplicity and intuitive UI let me set up and manage a blog very quickly without a learning curve. I didn't have to worry about building or maintaining a custom CMS, which saved a lot of time and effort. Their support is pretty responsive too.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I wish it was easier to use on mobile devices.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph saves me from building and maintaining my own CMS, making it cost-effective. Its simplicity and intuitive UI allow quick blog setup without a learning curve, saving time and effort.

 ### 21. Effortless Content Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai Manasa K. | Product Marketer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like the ease of use of Hygraph and having a repository of content. Working with content blocks is simpler because I don't have to think in pages or templates. I can publish, unpublish, or update content without waiting on engineering, which is really convenient. Being able to reuse messaging across different channels or campaigns without worrying about inconsistencies is another great aspect of Hygraph. The initial setup was quite easy, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Setting up models, schemas, and integrations is not something marketers can do by themselves. Hygraph could offer guided model templates for common use cases.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph to structure content once and reuse it anywhere, work with content blocks instead of pages, and update content independently. It eases content management by providing a repository and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.

 ### 22. Perfect for No-Code Designers—Simple and Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

This product has a simplicity that makes it work awesome for no-code designers and product designers. Easy to understand, even if you don't have dev skills.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hard to say, but I'm afraid the free tier could be a little more generous in terms of models, more than 20 could be helpful (I know you already are :D).

199$ for the second tier looks quite expensive for me, but it's something that I probably have to do if my MVPs start to work. If you guys can create a middle 50$ tier between free and the 199$ would be interesting.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love it because it is simple to understand, suitable for MVP development, and generous free tier. Helps me deliver better quality products to my clients. WordPress and Movable Type are now past.

 ### 23. Dynamic Data management for Vibe Coded Digital Products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** aarsh s. | Sr. Product Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The user experience was good and the information is well delivered with the nuances.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I do not have any complaints about Hygraph for now.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am primarily a product design with some coding knowledge and my use case is to create a scaleable workflow to showcase my work. I build with cursor and am using the Hygraph to facilitate different asepcts of my portoflio. I am benefited by the simplicity and structured way of organising content for my website and i do not have to keep vibe coding static websites.

 ### 24. Multilingual Flexibility with Hygraph

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like the fact that Hygraph allows us to customize the landing pages. It gives us flexibility in managing a multilingual site, which is really useful since with other systems we were not autonomous and the landing pages had to be the same for all countries.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

insert the possibility of follow / index directly on the page, canonical, hreflang without having to depend on IT.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph helps us connect copy experiences and localization, and offers flexibility in managing a multilingual site, allowing us to customize landing pages.

**Official Response from Konstantine Beridze:**

> Hi dear user! Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, we really appreciate it.

Since Hygraph is a headless CMS, SEO settings like canonical URLs, noindex/nofollow, and hreflang are typically modeled as reusable SEO components or fields in your content model. Once set up, content editors can manage these values directly without needing ongoing developer involvement. We actually use this approach ourselves on the Hygraph website, and you may find this example helpful: How Hygraph uses Hygraph III: Content modeling (SEO component).

Thanks again for your feedback, it helps us continue improving the editor experience.

 ### 25. Powerful and Easy to Use Headless CMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mansoor R. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

As a front-end developer, I really like how easy it is to set up Hygraph. The schema setup is quick and straightforward, and I was able to start adding content almost immediately. The UI is clean and doesn’t get in the way, which I appreciate. The free plan is also surprisingly generous so it's great for hobby projects or small sites where I just want to get something live without overthinking the backend.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It took me a little while to fully understand how assets work in Hygraph and how they’re managed separately from entries. The flow isn’t super obvious at first.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone focused on front-end development, Hygraph takes away the worry of having to create some kind of backend for my content management. I don't have to set up a database, build an API, or maintain any infrastructure. The GraphQL API is especially helpful because it lets me query exactly the data I need in a clean and predictable way.

 ### 26. The best CMS for your blogs and content

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I've been using Hygraph from almost 3 years, and it has been a great experience. I love the simple and easy UI/UX. I mostly used Hygraph for my blogs and some reviews of clients from my portfolio. I really love using it and will be using forever. Its really easy to setup and integrate in my Next.js application. Talking about support its really great and quick, they really helped my to solve my issue within 24 hrs. Thanks

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Nothing much, its UI is very excellent and also the UX and docs are the best to integrate in any framework.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For managing blogs, reviews in my website like for portfolio its really easy to integrate and connect with Next.js application, I've been using the same template for all of my blogs, reviews, etc. It really helped me to save lot of time instead of manually add things and markdown support is really great with all docs.

 ### 27. Structured Data Makes Templated Pages Easy

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Structured data for templated pages, including blog posts.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The rich text editor can feel a bit clunky, and some UI elements are not very intuitive—especially for less tech-savvy colleagues.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to build templated pages, and to manage our public-facing documents such as press releases.

 ### 28. Seamlessly Integrates with Existing Systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I love how Hygraph integrates seamlessly with older CRM systems, offering a flawless experience. The GraphQL interface is simple and efficient, especially for someone familiar with development, making it easy to plug and play with existing setups. One additional feature I appreciate is the excellent assets management, which is very user-friendly and allows high-resolution images with customizable rendering options. These features together make Hygraph a powerful tool for managing content and assets effectively. Moreover, the initial setup was very easy, enhancing my overall experience with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I find it sometimes unclear whether I've published new content or not with Hygraph. The app could benefit from clearer notifications, like a toaster message, to confirm successful publication. Additionally, the mobile functionality is not very user-friendly. It needs to be more responsive to enhance usability on mobile devices.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph for seamless integration with existing CRM systems using GraphQL, making it a plug-and-play solution. Its asset management is efficient, allowing easy handling of high-res images and customizable rendering options.

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Once sections are set up for our needs, then it is easy to use. Also good for multiple language managagement.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The depth of features readily available.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easier to build landing pages, campaign pages, and manage multi-language content.

 ### 32. Needs a lot of improvement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnab C. | Process Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The interface is good. I like the tool to import figures.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

-- The lack of autosave is one of the biggest flaws. If there is an accidental back click on mouse before one saves the content of one section, you can loose an hour of work because it goes out of the edit interface and there is no way to retrieve it. We are in 2025. Autosave option should be a "NO BRAINER"!!!!!

-- Another very flawed design is the edit and delete buttons side by side for sections. If one accidentally clicks the delete, the section will be gone and you can loose days of work. For this maybe not saving that will be a way to save the content, still it is a very very flawed design.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization uses hygraph for content creation for our subscribers.

 ### 33. Intuitive Webpage Builder with In-Depth Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sporting Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like the homepage builder in Hygraph because as a designer, it's easy to use and offers custom blocks for our designs, which is great for potential development. The amount of stats available is impressive compared to the previous software we used, and the initial setup of Hygraph was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The save/publish feature can be a nice safety net, but at the same time can be a bit confusing when each individual element needs to be published.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Hygraph for building homepages, we used an internal design system before that was clunky and took a long time to load.

 ### 34. Easy Content Editing in Minutes—Perfect for Non-Technical Marketing Teams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett S. | Performance Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The ease of use with editing content within minutes. Perfect for a marketing team with little background knowledge in web development tools.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It is limited from the variations you can apply to each page. Also in some cases the preview of the page layout doesn't work.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an internally built website, Hygraph allows for our marketing team to edit pages without the need to get product or eng involved.

 ### 35. Modern Headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander B. | E-Commerce Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph offers a very intuitive interface for creating and maintaining content models. Particularly positive is the strong support for GraphQL, which makes integration into modern tech stacks extremely easy. The performance and reliability of the API are also top-notch. The documentation is clear and helpful, and the team behind Hygraph is very competent and ready to provide support when needed.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

There is hardly anything to criticize. The interface is technically functional, but it might make it a bit difficult for a non-technical person to get started. Regarding media assets, I would like to have descriptive URLs.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Hygraph as the central CMS in our client projects for multiple websites and apps. The headless architecture allows us maximum flexibility in the presentation and reuse of content across different channels. This saves us time and reduces redundancies in content management. Another key issue that Hygraph solves for us is the creation and management of a flexible, scalable content architecture that seamlessly integrates into our frontends. Thanks to Hygraph's native GraphQL support, we can retrieve content exactly as we need it—without overfetching or complex workarounds. This noticeably accelerates development and simultaneously improves the performance of our applications. Especially compared to traditional REST-based CMS systems, this is a huge advantage.

 ### 36. Transition to headless for CMS and beyond

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian W. | independant contractor, Dev Ops and developer, consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I am an independent contractor supporting a marketing team at Accuride International. We picked up Hygraph a few years ago as part of an effort to decouple what had become an overly complex tech stack. GraphQL and Hygraph have been critical components in creating a seamless integration of their blog and ecommerce applications within the context of marketing sites and content. Ease of use is excellent from a developer standpoint, and it solved a lot of issues I was experiencing in working with content managers to enforce best practices and a consistent workflow. They were blogging in WordPress before.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Not much to say here. Documentation is good, customer support adequate.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives content managers what they need and frees me up from holding their hands and policing them as a dev.

 ### 37. Effortless Content Modeling — Very Easy to Build New Models

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It is very easy to build new content models.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Cloning from environments is a challenge.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to schedule content releases out earlier.

 ### 38. I was forced to use it otherwise I wouldn't have used it

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessio G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I wasn't familiar with this platform; I was forced to use it for Gamescom. Once I got started, I felt a bit lost, but once I understood how to use it, it was simple and intuitive to get going. I think it's an effective tool that allows you to organize your work both internally and with external collaborators. I've explored a few of hygraph's features, but I plan to continue learning more.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

At first, I was a bit lost, not understanding what I was supposed to do. I didn't have permission to do things, and I didn't understand why. There was no guided introduction or anyone to explain how to do things. Even now, I'm still not entirely clear on what I can and can't do, or how to best use the tool.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm currently using it for Gamescom, and it definitely solved the problem of having older, more complicated platforms that required a lot more effort to enter all the data. It was quite simple and straightforward. I got immediate feedback on the data entered and the success of the entry.

 ### 39. “The Headless CMS That Actually Gets It Right — My Hygraph Journey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish R. | Frontend Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The UI is clean and easy to navigate, so even non-technical team members can jump in and manage content without needing a developer every time.

From a developer’s perspective, the GraphQL API is a dream — fast, customizable, and well-documented. I also really appreciate the way Hygraph handles content modeling. It’s super flexible and lets you create structured content in a way that actually reflects how your site or app is built.

And honestly, the localization and asset management features are smoother than what I’ve seen in a lot of other CMS platforms. It just feels like Hygraph was built by people who understand the real-world challenges of building and scaling digital content.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The biggest one for me is the learning curve when it comes to more advanced features like remote fields or custom resolvers — they’re powerful, but not always easy to grasp right away. Some of the documentation could go a bit deeper for real-world use cases.

Also, the pricing model might be a bit limiting for smaller teams or early-stage projects. It’s fair for what you get, but if you’re running on a tight budget, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on API limits and user roles.

Finally, while the UI is clean and fast, it can sometimes feel a little too minimal — for example, bulk editing or more advanced filtering for content entries could be more robust.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the past, I’ve worked with traditional CMSs that tied content too closely to the presentation layer. That made it hard to reuse content across a website, mobile app, or third-party platforms. With Hygraph’s headless approach and GraphQL API, I can create content once and use it anywhere — which saves a ton of time and keeps everything consistent.

Another big win for me is how Hygraph handles content modeling. It gives me full control to define relationships, content types, and localization without feeling boxed in by rigid templates. That flexibility means we can build more scalable systems and adapt as things evolve, without needing to rebuild from scratch.

 ### 40. We use one Hygraph backend to feed both our iOS and Android apps, perfectly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The content API is truly platform-agnostic. No matter if I'm developing in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android, I use the same GraphQL call to retrieve identical, structured recipe data. This approach guarantees a consistent user experience across both platforms. I also really appreciate the real-time content preview feature—it lets us see exactly how a new recipe will appear on a simulated mobile screen before publishing.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Managing offline-first scenarios is our responsibility. Since the content is stored in the cloud, if someone opens the app while on the subway, we need to develop a reliable system to cache the recipes they've previously accessed. Hygraph does not offer a built-in offline solution.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We organize our recipes by tagging them according to dietary preferences, such as "vegan" or "gluten-free." Within our app, users have the ability to filter recipes using these tags. This process is straightforward, as the filtering logic is integrated directly into the Hygraph GraphQL query, ensuring that we only retrieve the recipes the user is interested in viewing.

 ### 41. The Project Lead for a Travel Blog

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The mobile app is a game-changer. My team and I are always on the move. If we find a new, great restaurant in Lisbon, we can open the Hygraph app on our phone, find the "Lisbon Travel Guide," and update the "Restaurants" section right then and there. It’s as easy as using a notes app, but the change goes live on our website instantly. It keeps our guides feeling fresh and authentic.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The text editor sometimes fights with me. If I copy and paste text from a Word document, it can bring weird formatting with it that's hard to clean up. I have to use a "paste as plain text" shortcut first, which is an extra step I often forget.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-Time Updates: Our ability to update content instantly has made us a go-to resource for travelers. This keeps people coming back, and our ad revenue has grown because of the steady traffic.
Local Guides for Different Travelers: We created separate content for "Budget Travelers" and "Luxury Travelers" all within the same city guide. This lets us attract a wider audience.

 ### 42. All about the new Hygraph Studio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prince Singh Y. | Software Engineer , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Spending more quality time on the new Hygraph Studio, I can justly state that the platform is more mature now. The more modern interface is clear and dynamic and even fun to work with schema modeling. The process of arranging the content models through the drag-and-drop builder is now quicker and less prone to errors, notably on multifaceted relationship, components, and enums. Having the integrated GraphQL Playground is a huge advantage - this is how I test the nested queries structure or filter structure before sending them into my frontend (React + Next.js). Among the features that I find most useful, there is a possibility to use Remote Sources. I sewed a third-party API and married it to the CMS-managed content in a trouble-free fashion via the single GraphQL endpoint, and not every headless CMS can so do in this fashion. Regarding performance, the API is quick and delivering assets through their CDN is fast enough when it comes to images and documents.

There is a learning curve in using GraphQL as well notwithstanding, as you should expect among individuals who are not yet familiar with GraphQL. Developers will be okay, but content teams may find the transition difficult especially in interpreting references and content relationships. They have enhanced role-based access, and it would be beneficial to have a more granular control to scale teams. Nevertheless, where a significant number of developers are required, and high-power and flexibility of the CMS, with spectacular support of GraphQL are required, Hygraph makes a darn fine pick, and it appears to grow towards the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph has improved a lot but improvement is always possible. The first is that the learning curve is all too real to those persons not already familiar with GraphQL. Even though there is an in-built playground, beginners can find it difficult to write custom queries, filter the relationships (nests), or process pagination. A graphical query pattern or simulated-life query patterns would help a whole lot. Second, even though the new Studio is easy to use on a developer level, it is still overwhelming to non-technical users such as content editors particularly when dealing with references, unions, or component-based models. Such friction could be reduced by adding contextual tooltips, inline documentation, or a flow to onboard someone.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the dependebility for other apps and services . Good help as Assets model is included with each project.

 ### 43. Hygraph offers consistency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lea M. | Creative Content Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I have found this system to be consistently reliable and highly accessible, making it an invaluable tool in my daily work. Over time, I have trained several team members to use it effectively, and I appreciate how straightforward it is to teach and implement. Its user-friendly design allows new users to quickly grasp its core functions without feeling overwhelmed. Every day, I rely on this system to efficiently maintain and update our app catalog, ensuring that all information remains accurate and up to date.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It can be somewhat rigid--for example if I type "moons" it won't return listings containing "moon." It's also not the most adaptable for a layperson to use search and filter features.

Hygraph would benefit from more quick and easy ways for users to define default settings, such as sorting data or filters.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph stores our catalog for 4k+ book listings that appear in an app. It's the best solution for app integration.

 ### 44. A CMS designed for large-scale multilingual content management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vincent G. | Sales Business Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is much more than a classic CMS: it is a structuring tool for teams working on complex international sites. As a copywriter specialized in localization, I use it within a team of 5-6 consultants led by the marketing department of a tech company recognized in its sector. The interface provides a clear and simultaneous view of content in all languages, which significantly reduces errors in tone, style, or inconsistency. The system also allows you to revisit any text, even months later, to make updates without losing track.

Before Hygraph, we used huge Excel files to manage translated content. Now, everything happens directly in the site's environment, without the need for manual importation. We work faster, more cleanly. For a company managing hundreds of pages, Hygraph is an indispensable advancement.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph has a significant learning curve for new users, especially for those coming from more traditional environments like WordPress. The interface may seem a bit technical at first. Additionally, some publishing or updating actions still lack fluidity, particularly when working on mirrored content in multiple languages. Improved ergonomics for managing editorial workflows would be a plus.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph has completely transformed our way of managing multilingual content on a large scale. Before, we had to juggle with endless Excel spreadsheets and management systems poorly suited to the needs of fine localization. This generated errors, considerable time loss, and a total lack of overall vision.

Today, Hygraph allows us to centralize and structure the management of hundreds of pages in multiple languages, while maintaining perfect editorial consistency. We gain in productivity, clarity, and content control. No more need to import/export texts: everything is done directly in the site's environment. It's a real leap forward for any team working on an international website.

 ### 45. Hygraph has everything we need for our app's content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole T. | VP of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like how consistent the app is. An update was made at a certain point, but they handled everything on their side and it did not cause a headache. I really appreciated that!

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It would be wonderful to be able to turn "help" tags on for when something is listed that we don't know what it is or how to use it. Something like little question marks you can click on to learn more.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our app is comprised of thousands of profile. Each profile includes a review, a cover, and a variety of data points about a book. Hygraph works perfectly for this. We are able to use the system to create and manage each profile. We also use Hypgraph to send out push notifications connected to the profiles and to link customers to internal and external URLs.

 ### 46. The Marketing Manager for an Online Plant Store

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I am not a techie, but I love how I can create the "building blocks" for our content. For example, I set up a content model for a "Plant Care Guide." Now, when my writer creates a new guide, it automatically has spots for a video, sunlight needs, and watering schedule. I don't need to remind them every time. The best part? We can then attach that same guide to the relevant products on our website. So when a customer looks at a Monstera plant, they see its specific care guide right there. It makes our site feel smart and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Getting started was a bit of a brain twister. Words like "components" and "references" were confusing at first. It took us a few tries to build our first content model correctly. Also, if I want to make a big change to how our content is structured, I still need to ask our web developer for help, which can sometimes slow us down.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Smarter Product Pages: By linking blog content directly to our products, customers have access to all the information they need, which helps increase their confidence when making a purchase. We also developed a "Brand Voice" model specifically for our social media team. As a result, every social post sourced from Hygraph now features the appropriate hashtags and maintains a consistent tone, helping our brand appear more cohesive.

 ### 47. Evaluating Hygraph: A Content Author’s Usability Perspective

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dinesh s. | Content author, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Users Can compare changes across versions.

Supports draft saving.

Multiple locales can be updated simultaneously.

Each locale can be published or scheduled individually.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

No dedicated dashboard upon landing in Hygraph. A dashboard displaying recently published and scheduled entries would be helpful.

Entries table lacks dropdown filters; manual input is required. Having a filter for each column would eliminate the need for manual input.

No side-by-side preview with edit option; preview opens in the same tab. Content cannot be edited directly from the preview.

Field-level comparison is available only in English; local values cannot be compared within the same language.

Drafts cannot be created as new versions, In addition the ability to create different version for each locale would be helpful

Allowing users to rename versions would be helpful, especially for those who edit or schedule promotional content.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use a content management system to update and schedule website content across all regions globally.

 ### 48. Highly recommended website software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is very user-friendly. I have no web design knowledge or background, yet I manage and update our site easily without any issues. It has all of the features that we require, and it's easy to navigate.
It's great for a small business like us to keep ontop of how our own site looks and performs, and to keep the key information up to date for the end user.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Occasionally, the "save and publish" function can be a bit glitchy and it takes a few attempts to save/update. Apart from that, it's a very well-functioning system.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us to reach customers outside of our local comminuty. It's also driving them to our bookings system which is integrated into the website. As a small business (bar), it's paramount that we have a steady flow of customers who are able to plan and book a visit to us, aswell as a steady flow of spontaneous walk-ins. That balance is important to our business operations. Having a clear, up to date, well-functioning website does that job for us.

 ### 49. Blazing speed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro V. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I had issues with loading time and it was easy to solve with Hygraph. It was a bit complicated to understand how to get the desired format but the documentation is now way more clear. I recommend it to anyone who need blazing speed, and version control on assets.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Nothing in particular. Maybe the onboarding on how to choose image format. I uploaded some . PNG with transparent background and the link generated was jpeg by default. I thought it was an issue on my code first...

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Content delivery, handling images, assets like pdf, languages. Specially for a website were we submit reports and sometimes we get feedback and need to update the file. Hygraph makes this quite easy.

 ### 50. Highly Intuitive and Powerful CMS for Everyone

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthias B. | Robotics Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is an outstanding headless CMS solution, particularly for users without a technical background. Its interface is highly intuitive, making content creation and management straightforward. The platform excels in its seamless integration with GraphQL, providing a robust and flexible API for developers. The ability to easily connect with other services is a significant advantage, streamlining workflows and increasing productivity. Hygraph balances powerful features with user-friendliness, making it a superior choice for both technical and non-technical teams.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Pricing: The cost increases significantly as a project scales, with the free tier being suitable only for small projects.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**
