## Hygraph Reviews
  ### 1. HyGraph -- an easy CMS for developers

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tammina Vivekananda Sai 2. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's very easy to setup and integrate. It's all based on API endpoints and private keys and it works seamlessly. Such a painless process compared to other CMS options.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Major think I dislike about HyGraph is project creation, deletion and cloning takes a lot of times and I have to close and reopen the dashboard to check. It's gotten a lot better but can be quicker.

Another thing is the new preview feature isn't working well. Guess I need to go through the document a bit better.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Biggest problem HyGraph is solving for me is I don't need to worry about content being undelivered. I had to setup webhooks with vercel and everything works so fast and seamlessly.

Major relieve as I don't have to build or replicate things.

  ### 2. Great product, great support but still room for improvement.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom K. | Principal Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

We inherited the project from an agency and therefore had no influence on the information architecture in HyGraph. Thanks to the good support, we have learned how to do it right and always get support along the way. The HyGraph team is very helpful and I can only recommend using their expertise at the beginning of the project. The tool is easy to use and the structure makes sense. I particularly like the app area for extending functionality, as you can fall back on useful implementations.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Our information architecture in HyGraph is not optimal and we have very high traffic on the system as a result. This is clearly our fault, but it is still annoying. I would like to see more metrics and transparency regarding access to resources and assets. We currently find it difficult to reduce requests per second, for example, as we have little insight into the data. In addition, asset traffic is calculated based on accesses to the resource and not on accesses to the assets. This feels a bit unfair as the image is not always loaded and with a TTL of 30 days, the images are usually in the CDN anyway.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 40 different markets in our company that broadcast dynamic content and various entities such as products, recipes, etc. on one website. We use the CMS to enable the markets to enter their content and manage it in multiple languages.

  ### 3. Hygraph in action

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is an excellent optoin for many reasons. its flexibilty is the thing that draws me to it.The multiple channels within your platform make it easy to manage content across. A css headless cms has a new website design layout and allows the user to have complete control over their content delivery its super easy to scale it

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Its been around for a while but it isnt much fun for beginners. Although its great for experienced people to use it can be hard for novices. The interface doesntt provide as much functionality as some other applications so it can make learning difficult.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph handles content delivery in various platforms. Instead of being tied to one single frontend hybrid cms from Hygraph’s headless approach lets you create content once and push it anywhere from a website, mobile app or an iot device. For me, it's a big deal because it saves me a lot of time. You dont need to restyle content. It also helps with scalablity. contents can be updated or added within any system without putting the entire project in making it easier to take on larger projects and more complex workflows.

  ### 4. Flexible Cms Hygraph

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph has the biggest benefits. It's a game changer that allows you to easily manage and deliver content across multiple platforms with its powerful Graphql apis. The functionality and adaptability is helpful, and we'll be able to create content with ease. It's good for different types of content. It is very adaptable.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I find Hygraph to be overwhelming at first and isnt very customizable for groups new to gaphql. While its cool, it also means you have to do a bit of learning to figure out how to set up and optimize your content models and queries. Often advanced features are only available in higher tier plans and are for small businesses or projects.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph can be used to help manage content across many places. As a team we no longer have to worry about dealing with the monolithic content systems.Hygraphs flexible content modeling and grapql api, can easily integrate content in any frontend or application.we had much less time working due to these features.

  ### 5. Powerful and Flexible GraphQL CMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aryan S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is flexible and powerful with its GraphQL APIs for content. Easy to integrate and create multi-level heirarchical schema model. Hygraph studio makes it very to create, edit and maintain multi-locale content. Its very fast with in build cdn and auto optimised assets in content. I am using it for multiple projects and have never missed anything in the CMS.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I hardly find any thing to dislike about hygraph. Maybe the older name GraphCMS was more of a liking than new one. More pricing plans can be added to cater wider market.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using hygraph for mainly as CMS for multiple company portals of a large scale organisation. Its GraphQL APIs makes it very easy to integrate with the Next.js frontends.

  ### 6. Hygraph is simply the best CMS we tried

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's simply the best CMS we tried. It's cheap, free even for our case, to start with. It's set up in a day. Content creation is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

We don't really dislike anything. Just the next tier is quite expensive.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ease to set up blogs in a nice structure.

  ### 7. Feels modern and works smoothly

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Everything about Hygraph feels current, from the UI to the API design. It’s a nice change from older tools we’ve used.

Support could sometimes be a bit faster to respond.

It helped us modernize our tech stack without introducing a bunch of new complexity.

  ### 8. Hygraph is a good CMS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marzieh B. | SEO specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It's a good CMS right now with the new updates

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

- It's not standardized for SEO, like the canonical tag, structured data

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this CMS for our website to publish content

  ### 9. Hygraph Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Everything is extremely confiugurable and relatively easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

It can sometimes be unclear when something is 'published', you may need to click publish twice.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph allows us to configure quickly and easily our internal content/UX.

  ### 10. Great Experience with Hygraph - Powerful and Flexible CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Flexibility and scale: That's what I most like about Hygraph. Managing and delivering content through this platform is easy across various platforms. Defining custom content models and integrating several data sources makes it super adaptable for projects of any size. The interface is user-friendly, and the overall experience flows. Hygraph really empowers teams to create, organize and distribute content efficiently and scalably.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

One thing that still requires improvement in Hygraph is the learning curve for new users. Despite being a powerful and flexible platform, mastering all functionalities takes time, especially for those who are new to content management systems. Some of the advanced features also require some technical knowledge, which may pose a problem for non-developers. Eventually, however, it becomes easier to use the platform as soon as you get the hang of it.
Most people seem to agree that there is still room for improvement in Hygraph, especially when it comes to the learning curve for new users. Indeed, it is a powerful and flexible platform, and learning most of its features does take some time, especially for those who are just starting to get into content management systems. In fact, several even of these advanced features would require a bit of technical knowledge, which is yet another hurdle for non-developers. But once you get used to it, the platform gets relatively fluid and easy to use.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is addressing the challenge of seamlessly managing and distributing content across multiple channels. Hybrid is a simple, headless CMS that allows us to model content however we want, making it easy to scale to different devices and integrate easily with all kinds of pluggable systems. That really has streamlined our content workflows as much as reduced the time we spend on manual updates. Because of its customizable content models combined with seamless integrations, Hygraph helps us deliver a more efficient experience and consistent with contents for our audience, thus saving our time and resources in some ways.

  ### 11. No headaches just content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It’s just easy to work with. No random bugs, no confusing setup, just a solid CMS with GraphQL.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The permissions system could be a bit more flexible.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We replaced a clunky legacy CMS (WordPress) with Hygraph and instantly made our workflow smoother.

  ### 12. Great headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin A. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Very easy to use, reliable, good pricing and generous free plan which allows us to pilot new sites wiht it

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Wish there was a way to upgrade models on the paid plans below enterprise

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great CMS that works for what we need

  ### 13. The free tier is quite generous, and also offers audit logs which helps analyse stuff.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratham S. | LFX'24 Mentee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It is user friendly, and I was able to integrate it in my nextjs application with ease. The schema builder is also good, like the drag-and-drop tool.
It is very customisable.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Pricing, I am worried as it increases after 20 users. I am happy with the free tier. So I can do 5000 entries free and then it is very expensive.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it as the CMS for our web3 marketing agency. I have a content writer, I don't need to give him access to the website, he does it from the CMS with principle of least privilege.
It has enough text styling options and editing, customisation options.

  ### 14. Does what it does very well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Solutions Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is robust and user friendly, and configurable for a number of applications.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

There is a tradeoff with the robustness in terms of custom dev work that needs to be done in the initial implementation, but once set up it does the job well.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a good platform for managing different content types.

  ### 15. Absolutely amazing. One of the best CMS out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florin G. | Frontend Developer, Gambling & Casinos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It is a powerful tool and saved my team a lot of time. It's versatile, easy to use and has a cool design. In addition to it has many smart features, it is very fast.
The support team is wonderful, fast and professional.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Not a blocker but there is no easy integration with media management platforms like Cloudinary or other. Hygraph supports assets upload, which is nice, but you can't query only the fields you need from the assets, you need to get the entire data.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a multilanguage website and needed a fast content management solution with GraphQL, easy to use but with lots of features. Hygraph provided.

  ### 16. Excellent service and quick support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jyoti Ranjan D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The customer support is amazing, they are super quick to respond and always help out whenever I face any issues. where any technical problem they sort it out without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I haven't come across anything negative yet everything has been great.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph has made website development much easier for us its content management system is very simple to use this has save us a lot of time.

  ### 17. Great CMS for small websites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It was a smooth learning curve to get things going. Even as a total beginner, I was able to set it up and present data dynamically in my second project ever. This service is perfect for front end developers who want to have a kinda full-stack experience. I highly recommend this product.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The jump from the free tier to the paid tier is quite steep, but understandable given how generous the free tier is.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to create a backoffice from scratch. Hygraph offers all the solutions I need to get going quickly.

  ### 18. The best CMS to integrate with excellent customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anchal A. | Technical support engineering analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The speed at which queries run is so fast that they execute in less than a second. The level of support is excellent since they even offer ideas and criticism on how we can make our system even better. Support for GraphQL is one of its key features.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Although there is a slight price increase, everything is worthwhile. It is possible to increase the number of modular components and make the list longer. It lacks of functionality like front-end user management.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our company, Hygraph is the finest platform for federated content since it allows material to be distributed using a single application programming interface (API) from any location to any location. The user interface is really responsive and simple to use. Fantastic developer experience working with several APIs and web hooks. The process of creating web applications is quite flexible. Database management systems and CMS are also supported.

  ### 19. technically impressive and future-proof CMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaun L. | Director Of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

We implemented Hygraph at Ditto Music in 2020 and have used it since. A headless CMS was something we were keen to integrate into our tech stack in order have a scalable lightweight solution that would provide all the features we needed from a CMS. Hygraph has been a very capable choice and continues to add new features for our marketing teams to take advantage of.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Sometimes the product is overly technical. The end users are marketing staff and copywriters. It sometimes feels that is overlooked and is more geared towards technical staff although we encourage our non-technical staff to overcome these challenges.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is a CMS we have used for our content since 2020. It allows our marketing team to have more control over the content we publish across dittomusic.com

  ### 20. Hygraph is best

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It is highly scalable and can be able to manage a vast amount of content and traffic which makes it suitable for enterprise-level applications and the delivery of content across multiple channels such as websites, apps using its high level architecture.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I observed that the Hygraph doesn’t offer built-in templates, so i need to build the UI myself, which increases the development time which also a troublesome for some developers who want to finish the work quickly.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph provides me the flexibility to use any frontend technology such as React, Angular, etc. which allows me to use the latest web technologies.

  ### 21. Amazing GraphQL Headless CMS I ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prakhar T. | Software Engineer , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I having been using Hygraph for more than a year now and it has made frontend development super easy. The Hygraph studio UI is very intuitive and enables instant data modeling and structure. The powerful graphql api are generated on the fly. The performance and assets caching is also optimised out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The integrations to third party app is little bit confusing, I was not able clearly understand from docs on how to integrate cloudinary for assets.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using for multiple projects for our e-commerce clients as an Headless CMS platform for online store. Also for asset management.

  ### 22. Great for blogs and page management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Structure is easy to set up
Highly flexible
Multi languages

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Limited to 2 languages
Mobile layout is not good

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Structuring blogs was annoying. Always limited to either a large text field or no structure. Hygraph makes this very easy and structured.

  ### 23. Scalable CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shailendra p. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

As per the usage of Hygraph need to upgrade the plan to higher tier which becomes expensive.

Hygraph automatically improves the infrastructure according to the usage which don't require manual intervention.

  ### 24. A good CMS but with minor bugs and issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamelia Ivova P. | Demand Gen Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Quite easy to work with but does cause troubles with deploying at times

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Not that intuitive and causes minor bugs at times

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CMS for the whole team

  ### 25. Great customer support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph provides great customer support. Recently we had to do a migration and their customer support quickly solved an issue on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

There were some glitches on the platform when inviting new users and when doing the asset migration.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quickly build a blog for our product.

  ### 26. Content Targeting Made Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I like best about Hygraph is its ability to deliver highly personalized content efficiently. Unlike traditional CMS platforms Hygraph allows to fetch only the exact content i need using powerful GraphQL filters.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph's lack of built-in A/B testing tools means you’ll have to rely on external services to run these tests.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph avoids duplicating content when federating across multiple sources. This saves storage space and ensures a consistent source of truth for all integrated content

  ### 27. The CMS I keep using and recommending

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel J. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is extermly configurable and the team is always on hand to help and support either through their chat widget or their dedicated community slack group.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The pay difference between the free and paid tiers are too great. I think they would have a lot more paying clients if there was a PAYG tier. I know my clients would much prefer that.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can pretty much do everything. I always recommend separating your CMS from your frontend and as most people are used to thinks like Drupal or Worpdress this concept is foreign. The fact that Hygraph is built GQL first really helps too as fetch data and pushing data to the system is just easy.

  ### 28. Hygraph Evaluated powerful Tool For development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sambid Priyadarsi P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Hygraph simplifies and improve the brand visibility for user retention , if we create or integrate any new technologies then hygraph is the best platform for all of us.

  ### 29. Coder's Companion

**Reviewed by:** d j. | GIS developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is a platform great for front-end UI design with excellent reusable content modeling. It allows safe and fast iteration in isolated environments. The integration process is seamless, and the customer support is friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

it could benefit from adding more UI components to enhance design.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating and customizing content models.

  ### 30. Excellent headless CMS platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike B. | Azure Data Engineer and Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

I like hygraph due to its simple UI so that anyone can easily learn to handle it. Creation of pages are simple adding images connection with 3rd party like cloudinary is also possible which is easy to maintain our assets. Customer support is good as they quickly resolved our issues with the invites.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I can't any yet but there are chances of improvements in the AI generative content and AI suggestion as sometimes chatgpt generation was very slow.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph resolves cms management issue and that can easily integrate with our headless pwa since it generates graphql to connect with any pwa solution.

  ### 31. The best headless CMS I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I highly respect platforms like Hygraph for offering a generous free teir. Currently I use Webstudio (possibly the best visual front end develpment tool) and I was looking for a CMS option to integrate with for my projects. I came across Hygraph and thought I'd give it a try. Registering was quick and painless as was getting up and runing with my first test project. It was super qucik and easy for me to impelement a working solution. I haven't had any experience with their customer support as I did not require any assistance or have any issues so far which is great. All in all I've liked everything about this platfrom and for anyone looking for a powerful, scalable headless CMS I highly recommend giving Hygraph a try.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Performing certain tasks can seem complicated but once you understand the platform it's easy to get through.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

The way it was set up by the agency who worked on the project made it really easy to manage the project gallery on our website. The image transformation feature it provides also helps serving the image sizes that won't slow down the website (because our pages are image heavy) while us not having to think about this while uploading them. New studio UI also looks really good, we needed some help from the support to help us transition and they were really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

We have a lot of images and sometimes we need to reuse them and at times it can be hard to find them, some tagging feature could be really useful for the future.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a rather complex gallery on our website where we present the projects and everything there from content to sectons to image galleries is managed in Hygraph.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Hygraph’s advanced features such as custom roles, enhanced SLAs, or API usage increases are locked behind higher pricing tiers. For small or medium-size applications scaling up is expensive.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph’s interoperability and open standards (GraphQL, JSON) ensure easy migration or integration without being tied to a specific vendor.

The greatest thing about working with Hygraph is ease integration with any aplication no matter the Framework (at least for Js). The use of graphQL

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

So far the only thing I miss from the last version was the help on the query playground

The need to store my content (data, media, html markdown) on a DB that needs configuration and hosting. Even the basic login process

  ### 41. Easy to integrate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whalyf V. | Desenvolvedor freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

It has been One of the standout features of Hygraph that I appreciate is its robustness as a GraphQL CMS. Its power lies not just in its functionality but in its seamless integration capability. Whether you're working on a dynamic landing page project or managing complex data structures. Hygraph steps up to the plate admirably and very easy to implements and use. The icing on the cake is its stellar documentation, which makes the integration process smooth sailing even for those new to GraphQL. It's rare to find a tool that combines power, versatility, and accessibility as effectively as Hygraph does. The Hygraph community at slack helps a lot when developing providing some support and updates every time when the project improve.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I'd like an easy way to publish asset and atach it to a content by API, a re-publish each interation makes it more complicated to manage content from my personal dashboard.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Safe data storage using Graphql with clean syntax.

  ### 42. Hygraph is just what I needed in a headless CMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleks P. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I've been tinkering with Hygraph for just over a year now and I have to say it ticks all the boxes for me. Currently I'm on the free tier but I'll likely outgrow this soon and be upgrading to one of their paid plans. As far as a headless CMS goes I've found Hygraph to be simple and intuitive and I love how easy it is to pull data into my front ends via their API. Their built in GraphQL playground make it super convenient to build out and test your queries.

One thing I'm particularly fond of is continuing my experimentation with Web Studio (an awesome front end development tool, much better than Web Flow IMHO) and now being able to pull in data from Hygraph.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

So far I have t identified any dislikes with Hygraph. My use cases so far have been simple for building microsites. That might change as I start to develop more complex sites and apps.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of managing data and extracting that date to pull it into my front ends.

  ### 43. Precise querying

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Complex workflows needs custom codingand user requested features takes time to deploy.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It offers fluent tools and documentations which is very useful.

  ### 44. Hygraph is my coding coach

Hygraph is a powerful and flexible headless CMS that's ideal for businesses and developers like us who want full control over the content and its delivery, What i like most is the way am able to control the flow of my development cycle without any issues.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I found performance issues when managing large content of sets or high volumes of data.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph is highly scalable and can handle large-scale projects easily, offering me the complete control over how content will be delivered to various platforms.

  ### 45. Top-Tier Performance and Support for Effortless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiran S. | Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Hygraph is delivering very good performance most of the times it is returning results less then a second. Coming to their support team response was very qucik and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Price is bit high but with respect to service and quality we are getting it is negligible

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hygraph maorly helps in solving below problems for developers and businesses:

1 Quick response, With its fast query execution, Hygraph ensures that content retrieval is lightning-quick, improving the overall performance of websites and applications.
2. Solves tricky Content Management: It simplifies content management across multiple platforms

  ### 46. A Promising Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul G. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

HyGraph CMS offers a clean and user-friendly interface because of which it became very easy for a new developer like me to create schemas and add content in it. The high flexibility of the CMS allowed me to perform extensive customizations according to my project needs. The speed at which the data gets published helped me to make changes in my UI faster and simpler. Hygraph was also very easy to integrate with my existing project as compared to other CMS that I've worked on. I think HyGraph CMS can be used in almost every project that frequently needs updates like content management and data imports.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The process of importing data like CSV is very hard as there is not much content or blogs related to the problems that I faced during the integration of my data into the CMS. There are significant drawbacks for projects that rely on constant data imports. There is a lack of resources and educational content like blogs related to HyGraph CMS. The presence of HyGraph CMS on platforms like StackOverflow is very minimal which leads to a lack of discussions related to it. The customer support is active but the response time from them can be sometimes huge which results in a pause in the development of projects.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Hygraph for managing content on my website realted to blogs and Hygraph has been very useful for me in doing that. Because of it's simple and user-friendly UI I can provide a platform for my content-writer who can create blogs for me without having to worry about the technical aspects of the projects. Overall I think it's a very useful product with a very little room for improvement.

  ### 47. The best and easiest to use Headless CMS you can find.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve R. | VP of Mobile Games, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

I was looking for a headless CMS solution, and I have tried all the competitors. I originally thought Hygraph would not meet my requirements, because I was trying to add specific styling to different pieces of content and finally realized that I can create as many blocks as I want, and in my front-end I can style each block individually. It is super fast, the scheduling and webhooks help make everything super smooth. I originally only wanted to build "blog" type of posts in there, but I ended up moving our carousel management on it and I plan to move other things too. It took me just a few days to have everything working in a development environment. For most small projects, the free plan will be sufficient. They give you a LOT for free.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

I would love to be able to embed my own images. Right now, you need to use their asset system.

I also wish there was a smaller monthly plan. Moving from free to 199$/m seems a bit high.

I also find that localization is very expensive, I would not use this project for something that needs to be localized in multiple languages. On our website, we support 10+ languages, which means if we used the localization option, it would cost us thousands of dollars. Crowdin costs at least 10x less and supports unlimited languages, so theoritically you could manage your translations outside of Hygraph but it defeats the purpose.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For free or a small cost, I don't have to build my own content system with scheduling. I can use something that is already built and proven to work. I am saving time by not having to maintain it, or worry about security issues etc.

  ### 48. Great Value for Money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karri S. | Director, IT and Digital, Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Everything you need is there. It has proven to be flexible in adapting to our business needs. Fast and friendly support is a big upside.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

The end user UI where you maintain content can be a bit rough and engineer-like at a first glance.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to pull and enrich data from several backend systems. Hygraph can handle this well and our engineers can meet business needs without trouble. We are publishing to one app now, but Hygraph supports our roadmap to publish to other UI solutions.

We can have centralized content management now instead of updating several systems.

  ### 49. The best ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | SEO Strategist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

Its GraphQL-first approach makes querying data efficient and precise, especially for developers familiar with GraphQL. The flexibility to define custom schemas and content relationships is excellent for large projects.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

While great for developers, it may feel intimidating or overly technical for marketers or non-technical users who are used to traditional CMS platforms like WordPress.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditional CMS platforms often struggle with delivering content seamlessly across multiple platforms (web, mobile apps, IoT, etc.). Hygraph’s headless architecture allows you to manage content in one place and deliver it anywhere using APIs. This ensures consistency and reduces duplication of effort across channels.

  ### 50. One Of The Best Headless CMSes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bronson D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Hygraph?**

One of my favourite aspects of Hygraph is how easy it is to setup a GraphQL schema with it's drag and drop interface instead of manually creating a GraphQL schema with code.

**What do you dislike about Hygraph?**

Depending on the complexity of your project, you need to invest extra time to reduce the number and size of queries you send to the Hygraph servers, this is only applicable to large complex projects though.

**What problems is Hygraph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of creating a content schema as well as storing the content.
