What I like most about Grammarly is that it lets me focus on the important things instead of worrying about spelling or typing mistakes. If I make a typo, Grammarly catches it, and it also helps me structure my writing so my emails and documents are much clearer and more professional.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

My biggest complaint is that American English still seems to take precedence. Even when I use the standard English setting, Grammarly often suggests American spelling or phrasing, so I have to change some of the suggestions back.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me overcome my poor spelling and typing mistakes, which gives me more confidence when writing emails and documents. It also helps me communicate more clearly and professionally without spending extra time proofreading everything myself.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The things i dislike about grammarly the ads which comes on app. It really irritate me much. And one thing i also dislike about that it asked for premium membership for some very useful features. And sometimes it gives same suggestion for a period of time. When i used it for first time it gave me a bunch of suggestion together which really irritated me a lot. It make me feel unmotivated that how i'm weak in grammer. And one thing note it has some restriction also with stylish suggestion.

  ### 5. User-Friendly Writing Aid with Simplicity and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I think Grammarly's simplicity is great. I use it mainly for editing and creating simple texts, and I really appreciate its text editor for its simplicity. I also find its interface easy and comfortable to use, even though it might seem a bit overloaded at times. These aspects of Grammarly — the simplicity, ease of use, and the comfortable interface — are key for me. Setting it up was very straightforward; I just went online, registered, and started using it. It's that easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I think that sometimes it is hard to tell the instrument that's the way I wrote the word is the way I meant to write it. So, like, adding an exclusion or trying to make sure that this work will not be somehow fixed again in the future. The problem that I personally see is that ratings score, comprehension score that Grammarly loves to give you, which I personally use all the time, are not clear enough about which exact things are influencing the score itself. What I want to know is what exactly did I do to make this score lower by, e. g., two points?

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for processing my emails and basically all other texts to avoid simple typos and structural mistakes when presenting them to others.

  ### 6. It helps to write my brand stories clean without sounding like a robot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpita P. | Branding and Marketing Communications Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I spend a lot of time writing stories for Xoriant, and honestly, I just need a safety net. Grammarly is great because it catches those tiny grammar and spelling mistakes that I completely miss when I'm busy. It is super easy to use in my daily work. I especially like the tone suggestions because they help me sound more formal and educated when I am reaching out to our enterprise clients. It is just there in the background, making sure I don't look messy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

But it is definitely not perfect. Sometimes it is way too strict with the rules. It can make my writing sound a bit robotic, which is the opposite of what I want as a storyteller. It also struggles with technical engineering terms and flags things that are actually right. And that little bubble icon is always hovering over buttons I need to click, which is pretty annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really just saves me time on the basic editing. I can focus on the creative side and the brand strategy while it handles the proofreading. It keeps our communication professional across emails and social posts, so I don't have to second-guess every single sentence.

  ### 7. Grammarly Excels at Catching Typos and Misspellings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve Z. | Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is great for catching typos and misspellings.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly isn't as good as it could be in regard to context. For example, June is a month, but it's also a person's name.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm an author, and I draft very quickly, so Grammarly is a great help in getting things down correctly.

  ### 8. Best grammar correction tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** prerna . | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how it corrects every minor mistake related to tone, punctuation, or sentence refinement. Its extension is the best as it can easily highlight our mistakes even without opening its website or app.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The pro version is costly, and we can't use that, so it feels like we are missing some good features.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While making new chapters and content, with the Grammarly extension, I can change the tone and refine my content in a click. I can write directly at my chosen place, and Grammarly extension will do its work from there as well.

I use Grammarly to check my grammar, spelling, and punctuation while writing assignments, emails, and documents. The grammar-checking feature helps me identify and correct mistakes I might overlook, and the sentence improvement suggestions turn unclear or awkward sentences into clearer and more effective ones, making my writing easier to understand and more confident. The initial setup was very easy, especially as a web extension.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes what Grammarly suggests doesn't fully match the context or meaning I intend to write, especially for technical stuff. It can also be strict with tone and sentence structure with very little flexibility, which hinders my personal writing style.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to check grammar, spelling, and punctuation in assignments, emails, and docs. It improves sentence clarity and word choice, making my writing clearer and more professional. It quickly identifies mistakes and helps me handle many emails efficiently.

Easy to set up and use daily, especially for email. Well integrated with Gmail.

The usage and clarity suggestions are mostly useful when I want my writing to be of a higher standard.

At times, Grammarly may impose a little too much strictness or recommend modifications that result in the change of the tone that I intend to use. **What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has been an excellent tool and a true master of language, assisting me and millions of others in writing and paraphrasing grammatically correct sentences. It played a significant role in improving professional communication, especially before the rise of AI. I find it extremely useful for refining sentences, checking spelling, and making use of its extension, which is particularly helpful when composing emails or working within Google Docs. It has truly been a great help.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

As times change, the need for a dedicated grammar checking tool has diminished, since new AI apps are constantly emerging that handle these tasks with ease. Although I don't have any particular dislikes, I think it would be valuable if the tool explained why a sentence is incorrect and helped users learn proper English or the correct way to write. While most people are now relying on AI for simplicity, this tool could have truly assisted users in improving their writing skills.

Sometimes Grammarly misses typos, so I still need to manually review and correct things myself. Another concern for me is data privacy, and the free mode also has fewer features available.

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It catches things that my standard software doesn't catch or catches them much faster.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly's correction pop-up, especially the "upgrade" pop-up messages, confuses the program I am working on. As such, I select the change in Grammarly, but then the upgrade pop-up appears and then the change I originally selected never took place. I then have to dismiss the upgrade pop-up and start over.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More grammatically correct writing and more accurate punctuation.

  ### 31. Grammarly Helps Me Communicate Clearly and Professionally.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toheeb O. | Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is how it quietly catches the small mistakes I don't notice anymore, especially when I've been writing for hours. It's saved me from sending unclear emails, awkward sentences, and tone mistakes more times than I can count. It feels like a second set of eyes.
Another feature I love is the real time, comprehensive feedback delivered through the browser extension. It's incredibly reliable and works seamlessly everywhere, including Gmail, LinkedIn, Google Docs, and even custom CMS fields. It goes way beyond basic spelling and grammar checks.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I have noticed using Grammarly is that sometimes it can be too confident about it's suggestions. There are moments it pushes changes that don't fit my voice, especially with creative or content heavy writing, so I have learned to trust my judgement and not accept everything blindly.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct grammar and styling in emails, social media, and basically everywhere in business communication channels. Sometimes when I'm writing emails, I don't realize I use more conversational words than professional ones, and Grammarly automatically suggests restyling. It also helps me find synonym words very fast.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes I don't need to use articles and it marks the sentence as an error. Or sometimes suggestions are too strict and remove the soul or your personal style from the text. So you have to follow only the suggestions you find fit, not all blindly. Another thing, sometimes the widget appears on top of some button and covers it, so I have to disable the extension to press it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct grammar and styling in emails and social media. It improves the grammar, punctuation, and styling, making my text look professional. I like its browser integration and advice on grammar, styling, and word choice.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajib D. | Senior Seo Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Real-time suggestions improve clarity and tone, and the grammar checks help avoid small errors. It saves time and makes writing more confident.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The suggestions sometimes feel too generic and miss context, especially for industry-specific or technical content. Tone adjustments also tend to sound repetitive or overly formal, which affects natural writing flow. This slows down editing because I still need to manually refine sentences.

Improvement could come from better context understanding and more customization for writing style, tone, and domain-specific vocabulary.

  ### 40. Grammarly: An Indispensable Companion for Polishing English Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikas V. | Software Consultant, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

There was a time before ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools when there were no truly reliable options for correcting and refining emails, content, or almost anything written in English. Grammarly was a real boon for many people. It could polish emails, contact forms, essays, and all kinds of communication. The corrections were impressively accurate, and the refinements often felt almost magical. Not only did it fix mistakes, but it also helped users improve their language skills. I have personally seen how it made life easier for those who needed to communicate in English but were not native speakers. Although Grammarly's appeal hasn't diminished, I find that I don't use it as frequently as I did before the rise of AI tools.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

It doesn't always get it right! While it may be grammatically correct, there are moments when, even after making all the corrections, the end result doesn't quite communicate what I intend. I wouldn't place my full trust in it, but it remains a valuable companion. Despite these shortcomings, I still enjoy using it and plan to keep doing so.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you need to send an important email that could determine whether you land a project or not, Grammarly is there to help you catch those small mistakes you often notice only after hitting the send button. It's not just useful for emails; it can also be invaluable when writing a crucial company blog post or reaching out to a potential client through a contact form. As long as your writing is in English, Grammarly proves to be extremely helpful in a variety of situations. The Grammarly browser plugin enhances the experience even further by integrating directly with text fields, making it easy to correct errors as you type.

  ### 41. Catches Every Mistake and Elevates My Writing Everywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sagar C. | Senior Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Honestly, it’s how it catches all those small mistakes I usually miss. Like typos, missing commas, or weird sentence structure. Saves me from sending emails with silly errors.
I also like the tone suggestions sometimes. I write too formally or too casually, and Grammarly helps balance that out. Plus, it works everywhere- Gmail, LinkedIn, and even Word docs. Integration is super convenient.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it feels a bit too strict. Like, it suggests changes that make my writing sound robotic or not like how I’d normally talk. I get that it wants perfect grammar, but sometimes I want it to sound human, you know?
Also, the premium version is kinda pricey. It’s good, but not cheap. And now and then, it misses context- especially in technical stuff. Flags things that are actually correct, which gets annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it solves for me is catching small mistakes I’d normally miss. Before Grammarly, I’d send emails with typos or wrong punctuation, and honestly it looked kinda unprofessional. Now I don’t have to worry about that.
It also helps with tone issues. Sometimes I write too formally or too casually without realising, and Grammarly points that out, so my message fits better. Another big one is saving time - I don’t have to spend ages proofreading everything myself. It just does the heavy lifting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nashell S. | Freelancer, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is that it helps streamline and clarify my thoughts. I used to be self-conscious about my writing. Now I love to write. Grammarly is a staple on ALL my devices. I also like that the repetition of my mistakes has been minimized. I get a rush when Grammarly gives me my green star with no errors.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I dislike that it is not easy to change the purpose of my writing to update my suggestions. I use Grammarly for business, school, and personal use. The recommendations are often formal. I end up having to dismiss suggestions for my casual writing. Secondly, since I use Grammarly on multiple devices, it does not always save my settings. There must be a cap on the number of devices; occasionally, I have to redownload it. I also dislike the number of dashes that the Grammarly AI suggests. It's too formal and often unnecessary.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly aids me the most with my grammar and spelling. I also enjoy the sentence improvement suggestions. I have tried the AI writer where I've put a few key points and it composed the paragraph for me.

I've found it incredibly easy to use and manage my punctuation and spelling. I use it for everything from email to word processing to online tasks, and it helps me clarify different things in texts.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The Android app can be a little buggy and needs some UI improvements. It doesn't always correct the right area of the writing. Also, on forms, it can be a little buggy as well. Form recognition and how it replaces the words instead of fixing them could be improved.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to make sure my text sounds good.
