**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to check grammar, AI detection, and to paraphrase my writings, which is very useful for me in the field of education. I like how the grammar checker and AI detector help me check my students' work easily. Grammarly is easy to use and has many features, with the grammar checker being connected to my Google Docs and other apps. It automatically checks my grammar and spelling and provides good suggestions for paraphrasing. It is user-friendly, so even my students can easily use it. Grammarly is most accurate and best for academic writing, with language that is not too deep, making it easy to paraphrase.

  ### 3. Grammarly Keeps My Medium Writing Polished and Error-Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan N. | System Engineer, Computer & Network Security, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I’ve been using Grammarly for years to catch grammatical mistakes, because I’m an active writer on Medium, where Grammarly plays a key role by helping and assisting me in keeping my writing free of errors. I already integrated the grammarly as they provide web extension which really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Currently, I’m using the free version, so it doesn’t allow me to keep correcting things after about 4 or 5 errors. At that point, I have to pause and wait for it to refresh before I can access the free checks again.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a writer on Medium, I see Grammarly solving most grammatical and spelling errors, and it also helps me write and publish with more confidence. I can confidently say that even if you know only a little English, it can still help you phrase excellent sentences.

  ### 4. Seamless Integrations with Powerful AI and Plagiarism Checks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Integration with other software/platforms. I write for various publications that use different CMS, and I often cut and paste text into Grammarly before posting content. I also use Grammarly's AI and plagiarism detection to make sure sources are not giving me plagiarized responses.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I hate having to leave the page that I'm writing to add a style feature, such as all straight quotation marks. Which I could just right-click or something.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly allows me to write freely without being stuck on grammatical errors. The suggestions also highlight recurring typos. This has improved my self-editing skills, which are more important as companies slash copyediting staff.

  ### 5. Excellent Grammar Checker with Minor Tone Rephrasing Flaws

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eunju W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I find Grammarly superb at catching spelling and punctuation errors, and it helps me refine my writings. I like that it has a few different options to adjust the tone of my writings. It provides an improved version, then a rephrased version, or a friendly version, which is really useful.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes, when I ask for a friendly rephrasing, it comes back with a totally opposite meaning. For instance, if I wrote a sentence as 'I am NOT happy with the results.' and it comes back with 'I am happy with the final option.' something like this.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps with grammar checks and suggests writing styles for different purposes. It's superb at catching spelling and punctuation errors and offers options to rephrase text in various tones like friendly or improved versions.

**Reviewed by:** Corbin F. | Research Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly helps my written words sound more smooth and can help me find better words, like with the thesaurus. It also helps me with redundancies and punctuations if I need it. I do like the AI determiner that looks for parts of plagiarism or maybe AI writing; I think that's great and they should refine that service. The initial setup was very easy, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I like all of it!

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for writing meeting agendas and my doctoral studies. It helps ensure my writing is accurate and clear.

  ### 7. Enhances Professional Communication, Minor Notification Irritation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Halyna K. | Manager of Customer Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love that as I finish writing a sentence, Grammarly suggests how to make it sound better than I could on my own. The suggestions I receive usually improve the quality of the information I want to share. This feature is crucial when I'm communicating with clients, helping me make my requests or questions as accurate, specific, and clear as possible.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I'm not using the pro feature. But the notification that the sentence I just did could sound better, but I have to sign for the pro version. It's just sometimes to offend. I think the amount of such notifications for a user has to be limited at least for a day. In case client close that notification, the system should know not to show it more. But maybe something will change the next day, and someone will be willing to buy the pro version.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to make my communication sound more professional, accurate, and clear, especially in emails. It helps me choose better wording and improves the quality of information I share.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I find Grammarly very easy to use, which is great for my work-related tasks. I particularly like how I can hover over a word that's spelled wrong, and Grammarly suggests the correct spelling. The initial setup was very easy as well, and I appreciate how it effortlessly solves spelling and writing punctuation issues for me.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I wish there was one click and it could fix all my spelling instead of multiple clicks.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps with spelling and writing punctuation. I like how easy it is to hover over a misspelled word for correction.

  ### 10. Boosts Writing Clarity and Confidence Instantly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mr Z. | Team Lead-Medical Claims, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is how it improves writing clarity and confidence in real time. It catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes quickly, while also suggesting better word choices and clearer sentence structures. The explanations are easy to understand, which helps improve writing skills over time, not just fix errors.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some suggestions can feel overly rigid or unnecessary, especially for creative or informal writing. It can occasionally flag correct phrasing or miss context, which means suggestions still need to be reviewed carefully. Also, many advanced features are locked behind the premium version, which can feel limiting for free users.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of writing errors, unclear phrasing, and inconsistent tone. It helps me catch grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes before they become an issue, which saves time and reduces embarrassment. It also improves clarity and readability, making my emails, essays, and other writing more professional and easy to understand. Overall, it boosts my confidence and efficiency in writing.

  ### 11. Effortless Grammar Assistance, Needs Offline Mode

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad H. | Head of Business Processes, Facilities Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like Grammarly for its ease of use. The easy way of approaching corrections is one of the best features. I find the marks under each wrong word and the correction of different categories helpful. It points out when a word is added in the wrong sentence or when there's a grammar mistake with a line underline. When I use the wrong word, it highlights spelling mistakes. These features make me feel improvements are constant, and that's great. Also, the setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it's not working. It requires Internet. So there is an offline version that's a big fit.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for correcting old wording and grammar. The easy correction process and marking feature are quite helpful, showing mistakes under different categories and enhancing my writing efforts.

  ### 12. Helpful Writing Tool with Some Little Limitations for Free Users

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geetanjali P. | Senior Operations Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

In Grammarly, I can easily edit my content and enhance it with proper English and grammar. It has helped me to create many blogs and articles. The suggestions provided by this app has helped me to refine my articles properly even as a basic user.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Though it provides great suggestions to enhance content, some of those suggestions are only for premium users, although those are some common corrections and can be included for basic users as well. Grammarly edits each and every sentence, and following those suggestions in each sentence is not feasible enough.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of correcting the sentences and paragraphs by removing any grammatical errors, redefining tone, and enhancing sentence formation. It provides a content rater system, which rates content out of 100 for different parameters, like spelling, grammar, tone, sentence formation, active voice, etc. It is beneficial for professionals and writers like me who are writing some blogs, articles, and website content to be published. I often require it for my writing projects and work. I love it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Typing the correct text is much easier now. I don’t have to check manually whether the spelling is correct or not. It highlights mistakes and gives suggestions. It is saving time and effort.

The tone detection feature gives insights into different tones like confident, appreciative, and curious, which helps me better understand and improve my communication style. Additionally, the setup of Grammarly was very, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I've noticed that sometimes Grammarly suggests incorrect grammar changes, especially with prepositions, verb forms, or past participles used with past tense. A few times, the suggestions made the sentence incorrect, so I had to revert the changes. I experienced this 2-3 times last week, so this area could be improved. Another area that could be improved is the Grammarly AI detector. Sometimes, even when I write the content myself, it still detects it as AI-generated 100 percent. This makes the detection less reliable, so optimizing its accuracy would make it more useful.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to optimize my writing, ensuring it's clear, professional, and error-free. It checks for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors, improves sentence structure, and offers tone suggestions so my emails and messages sound appropriate and professional.

  ### 31. Enhances Writing, Seamless Cross-Platform Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akki B. | Content Writer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly is easy to use across different platforms, working smoothly in emails, documents, and browsers without interrupting my workflow. The tone suggestions and clarity improvements make my writing sound more professional and confident. It helps me fix grammar mistakes, improve sentence clarity, and adjust tone depending on the audience. I find it especially useful for professional emails and appreciate that it saves me time by reducing the need for manual proofreading. I also like how Grammarly fits naturally into my daily workflow with tools like Gmail and Google Docs, helping keep communication consistent across platforms. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, requiring no technical knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly's suggestions feel a bit repetitive or overly strict, especially for creative writing. It can also miss context in longer or more technical content. The premium features are helpful but feel expensive and occasionally the tool slows down slightly when working with very large documents. Grammarly often repeats suggestions about shortening sentences or changing passive voice, even when the meaning is already clear. For premium features, the tone and engagement suggestions could be more context-aware. Sometimes they feel generic and don't fully match industry-specific or creative writing needs.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to fix grammar mistakes, improve sentence clarity, and tailor tone. It catches errors I miss, saves time on proofreading, and helps me communicate more confidently, especially in professional settings.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly seems to only rewrite one sentence at a time, not multiple sentences. It would be nice if it suggested the sequence of the words.

I use Grammarly for professional work, checking spelling and sentence structure. It elevates my reports, eliminates the need for a second reviewer, and frees up time for other activities.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

When I'm uploading a document inside Coda Grammarly, it often distorts the formatting of my Word document. So it sounds really inefficient to upload your own document because probably the formatting will be messed up, and you will have to format from scratch.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly enhances my research papers by improving readability, fixing grammar, and rephrasing statements for clarity. It also flags repetitive words.
