## Grammarly Reviews
  ### 1. Enhances Writing, Seamless Cross-Platform Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akki B. | Content Writer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly is easy to use across different platforms, working smoothly in emails, documents, and browsers without interrupting my workflow. The tone suggestions and clarity improvements make my writing sound more professional and confident. It helps me fix grammar mistakes, improve sentence clarity, and adjust tone depending on the audience. I find it especially useful for professional emails and appreciate that it saves me time by reducing the need for manual proofreading. I also like how Grammarly fits naturally into my daily workflow with tools like Gmail and Google Docs, helping keep communication consistent across platforms. The initial setup was straightforward and quick, requiring no technical knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly's suggestions feel a bit repetitive or overly strict, especially for creative writing. It can also miss context in longer or more technical content. The premium features are helpful but feel expensive and occasionally the tool slows down slightly when working with very large documents. Grammarly often repeats suggestions about shortening sentences or changing passive voice, even when the meaning is already clear. For premium features, the tone and engagement suggestions could be more context-aware. Sometimes they feel generic and don't fully match industry-specific or creative writing needs.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to fix grammar mistakes, improve sentence clarity, and tailor tone. It catches errors I miss, saves time on proofreading, and helps me communicate more confidently, especially in professional settings.

  ### 2. Elevates Professional Writing,

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for professional work to write reports and send letters. It's a great tool to check not only spelling but also sentence structure. It elevates my reports to a higher professional level and ensures my sentences and spelling are correct. Grammarly eliminates the need for a second reviewer and frees up my time, giving me more time for other activities. I find its suggestions on sentence structure particularly helpful. The setup was easy, even though I don't use all of its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly seems to only rewrite one sentence at a time, not multiple sentences. It would be nice if it suggested the sequence of the words.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for professional work, checking spelling and sentence structure. It elevates my reports, eliminates the need for a second reviewer, and frees up time for other activities.

  ### 3. Helpful AI Suggestions and a Chrome Plug-in I Use Every Day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The AI suggestions are really helpful and I use the chrome plug-in every day!

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the chrome plug-in doesn't work so I have to reboot it or redownload which is tedious. I don't really ever use the Grammarly website outside of the plug-in.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It catches the minor errors and mistakes that I miss—things that are hard to catch even in a second or third round of proofreading. It helps ensure that when I pass copy off to my editor, she's just reviewing for writing, not wasting time on grammar and syntax.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam A. | Franchise Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It is incredibly quick to give feedback, making it much more convenient than running through another AI.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I feel like instead of learning my tone on the go, Grammarly often suggests something that feels too generic or formal and can change what message I am trying to get across. Pricing went up for me and it's hard to justify paying it.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly will often find mistakes that I wouldn't have caught.

I really like Grammarly because it has an interactive and lovely interface with a beautiful UX design. It underlines things that need to be clearer and offers free-time grammar and spelling correction while writing. It's very easy to use, and is especially helpful for non-native English speakers, improving language, sentence structure, and increasing confidence in writing.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

When I'm uploading a document inside Coda Grammarly, it often distorts the formatting of my Word document. So it sounds really inefficient to upload your own document because probably the formatting will be messed up, and you will have to format from scratch.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly enhances my research papers by improving readability, fixing grammar, and rephrasing statements for clarity. It also flags repetitive words. I think that sometimes it is hard to tell the instrument that's the way I wrote the word is the way I meant to write it. So, like, adding an exclusion or trying to make sure that this work will not be somehow fixed again in the future. The problem that I personally see is that ratings score, comprehension score that Grammarly loves to give you, which I personally use all the time, are not clear enough about which exact things are influencing the score itself. What I want to know is what exactly did I do to make this score lower by, e. g., two points?

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for processing my emails and basically all other texts to avoid simple typos and structural mistakes when presenting them to others.

  ### 28. It helps to write my brand stories clean without sounding like a robot

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpita P. | Branding and Marketing Communications Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I spend a lot of time writing stories for Xoriant, and honestly, I just need a safety net. Grammarly is great because it catches those tiny grammar and spelling mistakes that I completely miss when I'm busy. It is super easy to use in my daily work. I especially like the tone suggestions because they help me sound more formal and educated when I am reaching out to our enterprise clients. It is just there in the background, making sure I don't look messy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

But it is definitely not perfect. Sometimes it is way too strict with the rules. It can make my writing sound a bit robotic, which is the opposite of what I want as a storyteller. It also struggles with technical engineering terms and flags things that are actually right. And that little bubble icon is always hovering over buttons I need to click, which is pretty annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really just saves me time on the basic editing. I can focus on the creative side and the brand strategy while it handles the proofreading. It keeps our communication professional across emails and social posts, so I don't have to second-guess every single sentence.

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly isn't as good as it could be in regard to context. For example, June is a month, but it's also a person's name.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm an author, and I draft very quickly, so Grammarly is a great help in getting things down correctly.

  ### 30. Best grammar correction tool

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how it corrects every minor mistake related to tone, punctuation, or sentence refinement. Its extension is the best as it can easily highlight our mistakes even without opening its website or app.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The pro version is costly, and we can't use that, so it feels like we are missing some good features.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While making new chapters and content, with the Grammarly extension, I can change the tone and refine my content in a click. I can write directly at my chosen place, and Grammarly extension will do its work from there as well.

The initial setup was very easy, especially as a web extension.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes what Grammarly suggests doesn't fully match the context or meaning I intend to write, especially for technical stuff. It can also be strict with tone and sentence structure with very little flexibility, which hinders my personal writing style.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to check grammar, spelling, and punctuation in assignments, emails, and docs. It improves sentence clarity and word choice, making my writing clearer and more professional. It quickly identifies mistakes and helps me handle many emails efficiently.

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The thing I like most about Grammarly is the way it immediately detects grammar and spelling errors that I could barely see. The usage and clarity suggestions are mostly useful when I want my writing to be of a higher standard.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

At times, Grammarly may impose a little too much strictness or recommend modifications that result in the change of the tone that I intend to use. The premium edition is packed with excellent features; however, a user who is not very active might find it a bit expensive. Moreover, it is not without defects, as it sometimes experiences delays in the case of lengthy files.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By cutting down on errors and making the text more readable, Grammarly is a great tool for me to write with more confidence. I am given time back by the tool from the task of proofreading, and it is a great assurance that my communication is visually professional. ### 43. Essential Writing Companion for Polished Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ganapathi K. | Associate Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has been an excellent tool and a true master of language, assisting me and millions of others in writing and paraphrasing grammatically correct sentences. It played a significant role in improving professional communication, especially before the rise of AI. I find it extremely useful for refining sentences, checking spelling, and making use of its extension, which is particularly helpful when composing emails or working within Google Docs. It has truly been a great help.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

As times change, the need for a dedicated grammar checking tool has diminished, since new AI apps are constantly emerging that handle these tasks with ease. Although I don't have any particular dislikes, I think it would be valuable if the tool explained why a sentence is incorrect and helped users learn proper English or the correct way to write. While most people are now relying on AI for simplicity, this tool could have truly assisted users in improving their writing skills.

It’s a static analytics tool that helps me reword the tone of an email or text when I want to adjust the wording, especially when I’m drafting my defects.

The formal tone correction is a good feature. The generative AI integrates seamlessly with several apps, like Slack and Jira, and it helps autocorrect grammar.

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It catches things that my standard software doesn't catch or catches them much faster.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly's correction pop-up, especially the "upgrade" pop-up messages, confuses the program I am working on. As such, I select the change in Grammarly, but then the upgrade pop-up appears and then the change I originally selected never took place. I then have to dismiss the upgrade pop-up and start over.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More grammatically correct writing and more accurate punctuation.

  ### 50. Essential for Clear and Professional Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Komal W. | Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The tool has been a practical aid for improving the clarity and professionalism of everyday communication. Much of our work involves writing emails, drafting technical explanations, preparing internal documentation, and responding to support tickets, and Grammarly helps ensure that this communication is clear and error-free.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly occasionally suggests changes that do not align well with technical terminology, code references, or product names, so its recommendations need to be reviewed carefully. In some cases, it may overcorrect structured or concise technical writing. Users need to balance Grammarly’s suggestions with their own judgment and domain knowledge.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user, the most noticeable benefit is the real-time feedback while writing. Grammarly quickly flags grammar issues, typos, and unclear sentences, which is especially helpful when writing quickly or switching between technical language and non-technical explanations. This helps reduce misunderstandings and follow-up questions, which is important in IT support and coordination work.
