The free version seems glitchy, and often, the icon is in the way of writing social media posts. You can try to move it, but it often just snaps back to where it was. Even when it says it's plugged into whatever "word processor" you are working with, it won't appear, and it doesn't help. It helped us make the decision not to purchase the full version. **What do you dislike about Grammarly?** There are times when I am writing in more of a speaking tone, and Grammarly doesn't always care for that. They're just superb. When I'm working quickly, Grammarly helps me to focus on errors, ensures they're corrected, and makes sure my documents flow well and look very professional. The initial setup of Grammarly was straightforward too. **What do you dislike about Grammarly?** Sometimes using AI tools like Grammarly can cause you to lose a bit of the documentation. That's really frustrating. The idea would be that it worked in such a way that it was incredibly user-friendly and didn't mean that you lost documents. The comparison is interesting, such as how much writing you have done compared to others and it labels the writing style. **What do you dislike about Grammarly?** Grammarly is annoying because it keeps displaying pop-up icons on you screen with no easy way to get rid of them and it is not clear what they mean. Clicking on them and trying to determine what they mean did not help and wasted time. I ended up shutting off Grammarly. Also, the spell check and grammar check that it performs is probably equally available in Word or whatever word processing program is being used. **What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?** It sometimes recognizes a misspelling or grammatical error I want to correct, but more often than not, I can recognize the error myself. ### 16. It was a great editing tool because it could detect errors and suggest new words. However, although it was affordable, I had to drop it because it was misleading me with incorrect comma suggestions. I did not like that because because it made my documents incorrect. **What do you dislike about Grammarly?** I disliked the incorrect comma suggestions of Grammarly. The tool misguided me. Apart from that, other aspects were good but I had to drop it. **Recommendations to others considering Grammarly:** If the vendor rectifies the comma errors, Grammarly will definitely be the best editing tool. The vendor should work on those errors to get many customers. It is an easy to use editing too, which is also affordable. **What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Grammarly was my editing tool before I adopted Hemingway.
