I like the fact that I don't have to reread my emails more than twice when I use grammarly. It has cut down on the time that I proofread. I was impressed on how many errors the app was able to catch. I dd try the trial paid version, but I decided to stick with the free version. I do like how the paid version does more actual grammar fixes instead of just spellcheck. I do like the look of the app and how it can connect to my browser so easily.
Sometimes when I am typing a word that is not in the dictionary, gram marly will autocorrect it. I am not sure if there is a way to actually add it to your own personal dictionary, but that is the only annoyance that I have come across. I wish that the free version had a little more quality to it, but it is good for what it does. I wish the paid version wasn't as expensive. It is worth it if you have a large blog and don't have the time to go back and proofread a few times over.
Don't rely on grammarly. You still need to proofread as the software is not perfect, but it works wonders to save a lot of editing time!
Grammarly definitely has a lot of potential. I feel like the it has reduced the time that I actually spend proofreading my materials.
