## Grammarly Reviews
  ### 1. Fast, Real-Time Writing Help with Smart Rewrites Across Every Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Binaya M. | Freelance, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really like real time writing assistance of Grammarly. It can instantly catch grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity while I write, which saves me time. I also appreciate the AI-powered rewrite suggestion and tone detection. Another feature i find valuable is that Grammarly works on multiple platforms, including my web browser, Google Docs, and email. Its very fast and responsive to do its job.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Grammarly. Only one downside is that some of its advanced AI features and writing suggestions are only available with the Premium plan, which can be expensive for Nepali users. Also, sometimes its UI can block the writing area, which I sometimes find annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly reduces the time I spend proofreading by providing real-time suggestions. It helps me eliminate grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity mistakes before I send the emails and messages to my clients. As a result, I write with greater confidence and produce higher-quality emails more quickly, and spend less time revising my messages. As a freelance i have to talk to lots of clients, and it helps me a lot to improve in my emails and messages.

  ### 2. "Write Faster And Better With Grammarly"

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sameer R. | Operations - Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly daily as almost 90% of my work involves writing, whether chatting with customers, sending work mails or group updates. Few things I like most:

- One click makes my writing sound professional, no manual rewording needed
- Tone detection helps me sound right for formal mails or casual team messages
- It checks grammar in real time ensuring error free interactions with stakeholders
- Best thing is it works everywhere I type, Gmail, Outlook, Chat tools in my laptop

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

- Suggestions sometimes pop up aggressively and interrupt writing flow, especially during fast paced interactions
- Sometimes changes the tone or meaning while rephrasing, have to double change before sending

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Grammarly, writing professional and error free messages during busy hours took a lot of time. Now with Grammarly, I can write clean and polished messages in one click, saving time, reducing errors and making every interaction with stakeholders or management sound more confident and professional.

  ### 3. Classic Citation Format Is Essential for My Academic Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martyn W. | Pastor, Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I write a lot of academic papers, and the ability to accept my citations in the classic format is best for me. The new form does not work well for strong academic papers. It wants to rearrange how and where the citations are done. I do not think I could use it without the classic provision.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I write 95% theological papers. Capitalization of Biblical and Theological terms is critical. The system does not pick up the proper capitalizations and wants them changed, or does not pick up on one that is missed. Not having this is critical; I just have to be more diligent to try and catch them. I have communicated with tech support about this, and they explained that they have parameters set up for general use, not for specific uses. Publishers and academia want it in a specific way, and I have a compiled list that could be incorporated into the program. Still, without this, I would continue to use the programs because the benefits are great.

On a separate note, I think the system is learning my writing style and giving me "Correct" corrections for Biblical and Theological terms of use. This has been noted over the past twelve months. I does not catch all of them, but it is getting better.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe that in the AI part of the program, it recognizes specific uses that are different from plain conversational usage. From repeated usages in my specific writing for publications, it seems to be adapting to some of these nuances. This is a great time-saver for me.

Specifics that have been noticed:
This is a big one: Scripture(s) (Bible; n. and adj.); scripture(s) (other religions)

apostle Paul, Peter, et al.
apostles, the
Apostles’ Creed, the
Apostle to the Gentiles (Paul)

  ### 4. The partner you need on your browser and apps - Worth the Price

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno Alberto B. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how it can be used not only in the browser but also directly on the OS; apps and other programs benefit as well.

The ease of use is great; sometimes it could help you to correct a text completely so you to be able to communicate properly and appropriately to different kinds of recipients, and other times, you simply want a quick correction, grammarly have a lot of IA to help you out but leave to you decide how much you need help, it doesn't replace you as a writter but sum to you as a tool.

Even right now I am using it to do this review, the performance is excellent with quick suggestions and refinements of the text, and it doesn't feel heavy or a burden as the onboarding to learn how to use it is pretty self explanatory.

I always say that this tool, always worth its price.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes corrections or refinements require many increments or iterations, which can become a little bothersome, and the text may change completely.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Correct communication in my work, my life, and my hobbies. I like to write a lot, and English is not my first language, so Grammarly is my partner in crime, helping me communicate my ideas as clearly as possible to others.

  ### 5. My Grammarly Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon H. | writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Wonderful at checking grammar, offering corrections that are optional.
Works with all or most of my software.
It is affordable.
Works very fast; Immediate.
Easy to install.
I don't need or care about AI.
There are various ways to use it, various GUI options - Web, etc.
I have needed no support, or very little.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Okay: Grammarly used to simply check grammar and offer corrections, and had explanations of why the grammar was right or wrong. That was superb. And it still is very good, except that it seems to want to rewrite for you. That I don't want, don't need. I only want it to check grammar and note grammatically incorrect things, but I don't like it trying to offer alternatives.
My writing is the way I want it; my projects are a bit esoteric for very good reasons: creative, not standard 'good grammar.' SO I like to know what the proper grammar is, and I usually accept Grammarly's changes, but more and more, it seems to not pay attention to the grammar issue I want to know about, but instead offers an alternative way to say it. No, No! That I do not like. Please continue to offer a version that just catches bad grammar and lets me decide whether to keep it as is or use the suggestion.
--- Don't suggest alternate ways to communicate the same thing.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a writer, not in business. Grammarly helps immensely with catching grammar errors. It makes writing faster. Not only does it catch my errors, but it teaches me grammar -- and it used to do that more (unless I just don't know where the grammar explanations are hidden now).

I used to work in a hospital, and I can tell you grammar was no issue. No one in that business cares if your grammar is correct or not; they just want you to have the right answer, fast.

Writers doing creative writing, like novels, need to have good grammar; however, there are frequent times when good grammar is not what is good for the particular project. People don't speak in good grammar.

  ### 6. User-Friendly Yet Needs Learning Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sangeetha D. | Media Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly to draft sentences, check grammar for my writing, and get synonyms, which is very convenient. I like that it has language settings, especially for Australian spelling, as it's much helpful in easily identifying any spelling variations and suggests clear ways to improve. I mainly appreciate its user-friendliness; compared to Quillbot, Grammarly is quite easy to navigate. I find the sentence and grammar checker valuable, and the summarize feature is useful when I'm too exhausted to go through an entire article to get the gist. Additionally, the initial setup of Grammarly was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Not 100% of its suggestions are good. Sometimes it suggests unnecessary changes, like when I say 'Story A led positive content,' it suggests 'led to.' Even after ignoring it, Grammarly doesn't learn from these ignored corrections.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to draft sentences, check grammar, and get synonyms. It supports Australian spelling and suggests clearer ways to improve, enhancing my writing. When exhausted, the summarise feature helps me catch the gist of articles quickly.

  ### 7. Elevated My Writing with Easy Device Integration and Weekly Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heartland B. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really like how it has elevated my writing. It makes sure I am putting my best foot forward and that I am able to work on the correctness of my grammar, and it also helps make sure my writing comes across the way I want to my audience. It really does push me to be better. Not only that, but I like how it is integrated with my devices, making it really easy to use. I also love getting my performance review weekly. I think the addition of AI is just going to make my writing even better.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There really isn't anything I don't like about Grammarly. Maybe sometimes it doesn't always match my voice with the way it wants my writing to be.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Again, it is just about making my writing better and making sure I present the best version of myself and the company I work for.

  ### 8. Grammarly’s Clarity and Tone Suggestions Make Writing Effortless Across the Web

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukirti K. | student, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is how it goes beyond basic spell-checking. I rely on its clarity suggestions to tighten up wordy sentences, the tone detection to help my emails sound professional, and the AI review feature when I need a better way to phrase something. The browser extension works consistently across Google Docs, Gmail, LinkedIn, and web forms, so I rarely feel like I need to do a final proofreading pass.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While Grammarly is highly effective, some AI rewrite suggestions can sound overly generic and can occasionally change the intended meaning of technical or academic writing. The free version is also quite limited, with many advanced features locked behind the premium plan. I’d like more context-aware suggestions, better customization for different writing styles, and fewer repeated prompts to upgrade.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Grammarly, I spent a lot of time manually proofreading emails, reports, and assignments, yet I still missed grammar and punctuation mistakes. Now, Grammarly catches errors in real time and suggests clearer, more concise wording as I write. This has reduced my editing time, improved the professionalism of my writing, and given me more confidence before submitting or sending documents.

  ### 9. A Quietly Reliable Writing Assistant for Emails and Resumes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fusberta D. | Educational Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I honestly didn't expect to keep using Grammarly this much. At first I installed it just to catch obvious mistakes because English isn't my first language. Now I pretty much leave it on all the time. It's not that I blindly accept every suggestion, actually I ignore a lot of them, but it catches those little things I'd probably miss after reading the same text five times.

The biggest difference for me is emails, resumes and pretty much anything important. Before hitting "send" I don't have that feeling anymore like, "Did I mess something up?" It's one of those tools you stop thinking about because it just quietly does its job.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The only thing that still bugs me sometimes is that Grammarly can be a little too confident. Every now and then it'll suggest changing a sentence that already sounds fine just because it prefers a different style. I've learned not to accept everything with one click and just use it as a second opinion. Once I started looking at it that way, it became much more useful.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Grammarly isn't really about perfect grammar. It's more about getting rid of that last bit of doubt before I send something important. Whether it's an email, my resume, or a longer document, I spend less time reading the same paragraph over and over trying to spot mistakes. It also helped me become more aware of the kinds of errors I tend to make, so over time I've started catching some of them even without Grammarly. That was something I didn't really expect when I first installed it.

  ### 10. A Reliable Writing Assistant for Professional Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed Taha . | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is that it helps me write with confidence without spending too much time proofreading. I use it for emails, business communication, reports, and content writing, and it catches mistakes that are easy to overlook when working quickly. Beyond grammar and spelling, I find the tone and clarity suggestions really useful because they help make my message more professional and easier to understand. It works seamlessly across different platforms, so it has become a tool I use almost every day.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There is not much to dislike, but sometimes Grammarly can be a bit too aggressive with its suggestions, especially when writing in a personal or conversational style. There are occasions where the recommended changes make the text sound less natural than intended. Also, some of the more advanced features are only available in the premium version, which may not be ideal for users who are looking for a complete experience on the free plan.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me solve the problem of writing clear, error free, and professional content without spending a lot of time reviewing every sentence. In my day to day work, I regularly communicate through emails, business documents, and messages, often with people from different countries. Grammarly helps me catch grammar mistakes, improve sentence structure, and ensure that my message is communicated the way I intend. This saves time, reduces the chances of misunderstandings, and gives me more confidence in both professional and everyday communication.

  ### 11. Essential Support for Technical English Reading

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomoaki K. | Technical Writer (Power Infrastructure Equipment), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I prefer Grammarly as a reading‑support tool rather than a writing tool.
When I read technical materials—such as a complex technical manual on small‑scale hydropower—Grammarly helps me understand the text accurately without altering the original meaning. It rewrites sentences in a clearer tone, preserves the content, and makes difficult English easier for me to process.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I don’t really “dislike” anything about Grammarly, but there are a few areas where I wish it could go further. Since I work between English and Japanese, it would be extremely helpful if Grammarly also supported basic Japanese grammar checking. I also often use Grammarly to read technical books, and while the rephrasing feature is very useful, a dedicated mode for improving the readability of complex technical texts—without changing the meaning—would make the tool even better. The quick English‑to‑Japanese translation feature is helpful, but I would appreciate slightly higher accuracy with technical terminology.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me solve several problems in my daily work with English.
First, it allows me to read complex technical materials—such as the MicroHydro Design Manual—with much greater accuracy. I can understand each sentence without losing the original meaning, because Grammarly rewrites difficult English into clearer forms while keeping the content intact.
Second, it gives me confidence when publishing English posts on LinkedIn by acting as a reliable final checker for grammar, tone, and clarity.
Third, it helps me understand unfamiliar expressions, including British English, by offering natural rephrasing.
Finally, the quick English‑to‑Japanese translation feature supports me when reading technical texts.
Overall, Grammarly enables me, as a non‑native speaker, to work with English at a higher and more professional level.

**Official Response from Natalia K:**

> Hi Tomoaki,

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We’re delighted to hear that Grammarly helps you read and understand complex technical English with greater confidence and accuracy.

We appreciate you sharing where Grammarly could be even more helpful, especially for users working across languages and specialized subject matter. We’ll pass your feedback along to our team as they consider future improvements.

Thanks again,
Grammarly Support Team

  ### 12. Effortless, Unobtrusive Writing Help That Integrates Everywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reva M. | Founder and President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is really helpful. It integrates really well into all of the various programs that I use, and feels much more effortless than nearly any of the other AI assistants I've tried. Grammarly has also improved my grammar and writing - I have already seen a few places where I am correctly using a grammatical rule I was misusing before. It's really easy to use, clear, and unobtrusive. I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the pop up can get in the way of inputs or submit buttons, and that can be frustrating. You wish you could just x it out, from a user experience standpoint, and I'm pretty sure you can't. I also wish I could tell it to ignore certain grammatical rules that don't fit my style. However, in general, it's really helpful and I don't have a lot of complaints.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly is helping us improve the grammar and spelling of our writing, as well as helping to rephrase things more clearly and concisely. It's become a necessary check for all blog posts that our company publishes, and has been a helpful check on all of our writing, allowing us to communicate with clients more professionally.

  ### 13. Intuitive Tool with Room for Advanced Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like Grammarly for its inline suggestion feature that instantly suggests possible expressions and corrections, which is really helpful. It saves me time by preventing the need to dwell on expressions or corrections. The initial setup of Grammarly was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Despite all the great things it can do, as a writing teacher, researcher, and writing expert, I hope that in the future Grammarly can provide more suggestions, and offer suggested phrases that I just need to click to complete the sentence. Grammarly does this sometimes but should be way more based on the AI capabilities available now. In the past Grammarly Pro offered plagiarism and AIgiarism detection but that function appears to have disappeared. It would be great to have it back.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me correct spelling and punctuation errors, ensures my expressions are idiomatic, and offers alternative phrasings. The inline suggestion feature saves me time by providing instant corrections and expression suggestions.

  ### 14. Reliable Suggestions - I trust Grammarly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie S. | Front Desk Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for everything from teaching English online to writing emails and Facebook posts. It helps me avoid embarrassing grammar and punctuation errors by catching things I might miss. I like that Grammarly lets me take or leave the suggestions it provides, which often help express my thoughts more clearly, succinctly, and powerfully. I appreciate it when the tool trims down my verbose writing and gets the point across more effectively. The initial setup was super easy, especially starting with the free version. The Pro Version provides better help, and it's a worthwhile investment.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes I'm not sure that it's functional on all of my different browsers. I usually have Chrome, Safari, and Firefox open. I don't know if there are some platforms that it works better on, and getting it to work on Yahoo Mail within whichever browser I happen to be on. So I don't always feel like I know the best way to ensure that it is on and running and working within the various platforms. I'm also confused by seeing Grammarly ads pop up within projects that I know Grammarly is already working on.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly catches my small grammar and punctuation errors, helping me express thoughts more clearly and powerfully. It trims down verbose writing, improving communication and preventing embarrassment from typos or unclear expressions.

  ### 15. Real-Time Grammar and Spelling Help That Makes Editing Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antony V. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is that it highlights grammar and spelling issues on the fly as I type and makes it easy to make alterations.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The weekly summary is laughably useless. It gives me three metrics: Productivity, Accuracy and Vocabulary. These three metrics each compare me to Grammarly users and give a percentage value that, last time I checked, has a standard deviation over 30%. That is, it is not uncommon to see a Vocabulary or Accuracy measure of 40% one week and 70% the next. This is totally meaningless.

Also, Grammarly and I have a different opinion of writing style: Grammarly wants to put in more commas than I do and I kind of get tired of Grammarly's bitching and moaniing about this issue. I wish Grammarly would learn my style when I hit dismiss. As an expert in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, I know that this is possible. It is not hard to tune the grammar recommendations for each customer.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly gives me a real-time ability to write stuff on the internet clearly and error-free. That's a big help and very welcome.

  ### 16. Tone Analysis and Smart Corrections That Improve My Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamara Renee K. | Owner and Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

My favorite Grammarly feature is the tone analysis. I like seeing patterns in my writing’s tone. I also find it helpful for cleaning up typos when using my iPhone to create a message. Finally for academic papers Grammarly helps me keep citations organized and accurate. And the basic corrections have made me a better writer overall.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Some of the corrections are just plain wrong. Other times it seems to be over-correcting or offering suggestions that change the tone and texture of my message. I also find the UI intrusive. I also dislike using it to type on my phone. The mobile keyboard disables autocorrect and typing on mobile keyboards are bound to create silly typos that are not a matter of the user’s writing ability. Flagging everything as an error creates needless distractions.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly is standing in as a copy editor. It helps me ensure that my writing is clear and professional. My business’s bread and butter depends on the quality of my writing.

  ### 17. A Helpful Writing Tool With Some AI Overreach

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James R. | Journalist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The best feature I like about Grammarly is its real-time grammar and style suggestions that catch errors and improve clarity. The tone analyzer helps adjust writing effectively for different situations. It integrates smoothly with many apps, making it very convenient and boosting overall writing confidence for everyone using it daily.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I wish Grammarly offered far more granular options to turn off its AI features completely. Users should have full control to disable suggestions, tone detection, rewriting tools, and generative elements without hidden toggles or premium paywalls. Additionally, the one-button auto-correct option feels too aggressive and often changes the meaning or voice unintentionally. A simple, reliable manual mode without any automatic interference would greatly improve the experience, letting writers stay in charge of their own style and creativity.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly primarily solves everyday writing problems such as grammar errors, spelling mistakes, poor punctuation, awkward phrasing, unclear structure, inconsistent tone, and lack of clarity or engagement. It also tackles plagiarism detection, readability issues, and genre-specific style adjustments.

  ### 18. Correct mistakes for clear texts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KOSTIANTYN S. | Creative Copywriter, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Mistakes come with each text, even for writers who are natives of the language they write in. That's a normal process if there is enough time for editing. Grammarly simplifies it, suggesting a stack of AI-powered tools to improve grammar and style. The website interface has only the tools to manage authors' documents: making bookmarks, creating vocabularies, and managing subscriptions. With access to the profile, that's enough, so the service uses integrations to work with internal documents, such as in Google Docs, etc. Grammarly demonstrates its performance as an embedded tool by suggesting corrections as soon as the text is written. Furthermore, the paid version gives full access to the glossary, where the mistakes are grouped due to their character, such as grammatical or stylistic. Then the user fixes them by agreeing and closing the list's items. The result is a text without mistakes. The developer's community is open to requests via tickets and publishes materials in their blog about how to get closer to the product and how to write more clearly.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Integrations work isn't always correct in Gmail. Nevertheless, a button for the browser came as well, as promised, also in Google Docs.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly proofreads texts to improve spelling and correct mistakes. It is a thing required if the text is for a foreign audience.

  ### 19. A must have tool for HR professionals to communicate effectively.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keerthana A. | Junior Human Resources Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One of the newer things I really like about Grammarly is how much smarter its AI suggestions have become. It’s no longer just about fixing grammar mistakes—it actually helps me rephrase sentences when something sounds awkward or unclear. In HR, I write a lot of emails, policies, and employee communications, and there are times when I know what I want to say but struggle to find the right wording. Grammarly often gives me a better way to express the same message while keeping the tone professional and friendly.

I also like the tone detection feature because it helps me catch messages that might come across as too formal, too direct, or unclear before I hit send. It feels like having an extra set of eyes reviewing my work. These features have saved me time and made my day-to-day communication more polished and confident.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While Grammarly is a great tool overall, there are a few areas where it could improve. Sometimes the suggested edits can feel a bit too generic and don't always fit the context of HR communication, where tone and wording often need to be more empathetic and people-focused. There are also occasions when I prefer the original phrasing because it sounds more natural than the suggested revision.

Another area for improvement is pricing. The premium features are valuable, but the cost can be a bit high for smaller teams or individual professionals who want access to the full set of tools. More flexible pricing options for small businesses and HR teams would make it even more accessible.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me dfrat error free HR communications like policies, emails and job description.
Ensures professional tone and clarity.
The tone adjustment feature helps me sound empathetic and approcahable while maintaining professionalism.
Saves time on proofreading and editing.
Reduces misunderstanging and calrifications, making communication smoother and more effective.

  ### 20. Clearer, More Professional Writing with an Easy-to-Use Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdalla A. | Pipeline Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is an effective tool for improving professional writing, especially for emails and business documents. It helps make my writing clearer and more concise by suggesting stronger phrasing and trimming unnecessary wording. The platform is also easy to navigate, whether I’m editing text directly or uploading files for review.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that the website can sometimes show too many advertisements and upgrade prompts. The frequent pop-ups and reminders feel intrusive, and they can be distracting enough to break my concentration while I’m working—especially when I’m trying to review or edit content quickly and efficiently.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me write more clearly and efficiently by reducing the time I spend revising and tightening my content. Its suggestions make it easier to communicate key points, cut unnecessary wording, and improve overall clarity. I also find the AI features useful for generating ideas, drafting sample content, and polishing what I’ve written. It functions as a reliable brainstorming and editing assistant, so I don’t always have to rely on feedback from others. Recently, I’ve used Grammarly to improve grammar, punctuation, and readability across brochures, contracts, and other professional documents, and it has become an essential part of my workflow.

  ### 21. Faster, Cleaner Writing with Natural Real-Time Suggestions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpit S. | Insurance Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly makes writing faster, cleaner, and more professional without needing constant manual proofreading. I especially like the real-time grammar and tone suggestions, which help improve emails, documents, and messages instantly. The interface is simple, easy to use across different platforms, and the AI-powered suggestions usually feel natural rather than overly robotic. It’s also helpful for improving clarity and readability, not just fixing spelling mistakes

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly can be a bit too aggressive with its suggestions, especially for creative or casual writing where the original tone is intentional. A few recommendations may sound overly formal or repetitive, so I still review edits manually instead of accepting everything automatically. Also, some advanced features are locked behind the premium version, which can feel limiting for regular users.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps reduce grammar mistakes, awkward phrasing, and unclear communication across everyday writing tasks. It improves the overall quality of emails, documents, reports, and messages by providing real-time suggestions for clarity, tone, punctuation, and readability. This saves time on proofreading, helps me write more confidently, and makes communication look more professional and polished, especially in work-related conversations.

  ### 22. Grammarly Helps Me Learn and Improve My Writing Habits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eashan M. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One new thing I’ve started to like is the tone detecter. Before I send an email I can see if I’m comming across as too blunt or unsure, and it suggests small changes to fix it. Its been really helpfull for work messages where tone matters alot. I also use the rewrite suggestions when a sentance feels clunky — instead of just underlining the problem it gives me a cleaner version to pick from. Honestly didnt expect to rely on it this much but now I open it for almost everything I write

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I think Grammarly could improve is how often it flags things that are actualy fine. Sometimes it suggests changes that dont really make my writing better, and a few times it changed the meaning of what I was trying to say. I also wish the premiun price was a bit lower because not everyone can afford it. And occasionaly it runs a little slow when im working in biger documents. None of these are deal breakers but they’d make the experiance smoother if they got fixed.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me catch small grammar and spelling errors that I often miss when typing quickly. It also points out unclear sentences, which makes my writing sound more professional. This saves me a lot of time when I’m writing emails, reports, or any formal document.

  ### 23. An amazing tool that is now heavily discounted.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subham k. | Customer Account Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One thing I've really liked recently is how Grammarly has become more than just a spell and grammar checker. The AI-powered suggestions help me rephrase sentences, adjust the tone, and make my writing clearer without spending too much time editing. Since it works across almost every application I use—emails, documents, browsers, and messaging platforms—it's become a part of my daily workflow. I've been using Grammarly for over three years now, and the seamless integration and real-time suggestions continue to make writing faster and more polished

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The main area where Grammarly could improve is pricing. While the discounts are helpful, the premium plans can still feel expensive for users in South Asian countries and other price-sensitive markets. It would be great to see more region-specific pricing options.

I’d also like to see a few more advanced writing and sentence-rewriting suggestions included in the free version. Grammarly already does a great job with basic grammar and spelling checks, but giving free users access to a few additional writing enhancements would make the product even more valuable and encourage long-term adoption.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I send a lot of emails and messages every day, often while multitasking or working under tight deadlines. Before using Grammarly, I would frequently make typing mistakes, grammar errors, or awkwardly worded sentences that I had to correct later. Grammarly catches these errors in real time and helps me improve the clarity of my writing before I hit send. It saves me time, reduces the need for manual proofreading, and gives me more confidence that my communication looks professional.

  ### 24. Your Grammar Co Pilot On The Go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayan M. | Marketing Assitant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Recently grammarly has introduced various new "AI-Native" features like "AI Refresh", "Suggestions" and "Help Me Write". These are really useful when you want have your thoughts scattered and you are struggling to put them all into one place and create the narrative flow of the entire piece. This also becomes useful when you are trying to detect "AI Content" and flush it out without having to go through the back and forth process

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

As I said earlier, Grammarly uses AI to improve a lot of its existing features; now, in some cases, these features become a two-sided sword. For example, in certain cases, Grammarly will itself generate a content piece that then its own AI detector will flag as a completely non-human piece. Now when you have the resources to understand the algorithm behind AI content and you have been specifically instructed to sound like a human, why are you still doing it?

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a professional content writer (Currently employed as the Head of Content) Grammarly has always been my one stop solution for grammar checks, plagiarism and AI content detections. It also helps me with sentence ideas whenever I am stuck looking for that one perfect narrative.

  ### 25. Handy and effective in Corporate Workplace but AI-based rewriting accuracy needs improvements.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arunava B. | Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One of the latest additions which I found useful includes a plagiarism checker which comes in very handy to ensure that my document is plagiarism free before I share it. In addition to this, the accuracy in suggesting word choice and preventing myself from using the same words repetitively has also improved greatly. Additionally, syncing my preferences across all my devices has been easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a great application in many ways, but the one thing that could definitely be improved is the precision of its AI generated rewriting suggestions. Sometimes, it suggests a different form of writing that not only deviates from the intended meaning but also makes the sentence awkward. This forces me to go through every rewrite suggested by Grammarly to ensure its correctness.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to write emails to clients and co-workers and helps me to adjust tone according to the person I am writing to. Apart from that it improves my grammer alongside.

  ### 26. this is good and very easy now and the feature of add tab and extension makes it very attractive and easy to use so I can recommend it for other users.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satish S. | Data Science Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

My experience with Grammarly has improved a lot over time. It feels easier to use, gives helpful suggestions instantly, and improves both grammar and writing style. It understands context better now, saves time, and makes my emails, documents, and posts look more professional and natural.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One area where Grammarly can still improve is language support. At the moment, it works very well for English, but it does not properly support many Indian languages like Hindi, Bengali and other regional languages. If Grammarly could add better support for these languages, it would be much more useful for users in India who often write in a mix of English and local languages.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly is solving several key problems that significantly benefit users by enhancing the overall quality of written communication. One of the primary challenges it addresses is writing clarity and coherence. By suggesting better word choices and sentence structures, Grammarly ensures that users can effectively convey their messages. This is especially important for professional emails, reports, and articles, where clarity is crucial for conveying ideas accurately.

In addition to improving clarity, Grammarly also helps users identify and correct grammar and spelling errors. These mistakes can undermine the credibility of the writing, particularly in a business setting where attention to detail is essential. With Grammarly, users can produce polished content that reflects professionalism and care.

Another significant benefit is Grammarly's ability to provide feedback on tone and style, enabling users to tailor their writing to their intended audience. This capability enhances engagement and effectiveness, whether crafting marketing materials or communicating within teams. By adjusting tone to suit different contexts, users can foster better connections with their readers.

Grammarly also features a plagiarism detection tool that is vital for maintaining originality in content creation. For businesses, this function helps protect against potential legal issues and upholds the integrity of the brand by ensuring that all writing is unique.

Lastly, Grammarly is designed to be user-friendly, making it accessible for individuals at all skill levels. This ease of use allows team members to adopt the tool quickly without the need for extensive training, ultimately improving productivity. By addressing these various challenges, Grammarly enhances the quality of writing and facilitates clearer communication both within teams and with external stakeholders.

  ### 27. Amazing for everyday writing, but limited without Premium

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshul S. | Sr tech support, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

One new thing I really like about Grammarly is how it’s getting smarter with rewrite suggestions. It doesn’t just fix mistakes anymore; it actually gives alternative versions of a sentence that sound clearer or more natural. It also highlights tone mismatches more accurately now, so I can adjust my writing depending on whether I need it to sound formal, friendly, or direct. The overall experience feels smoother and more helpful in day‑to‑day writing. I actually used Grammarly in my browser, so it immediately fixed this paragraph as well.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

sometimes gives overcorrections. A few suggestions feel unnecessary. The premium pricing also feels a bit high for everyday users. It would be great if they offered more flexible or affordable plans

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves a few everyday writing problems for me. It catches grammar, spelling, and clarity issues instantly, which saves me time and keeps my writing clean. It also helps with tone, so my emails and messages sound professional without me overthinking every sentence. The real benefit is that it acts like a quick second pair of eyes I can write faster, avoid small mistakes, and feel more confident that whatever I send out is clear and easy to read.

  ### 28. Grammarly User Experience Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aasif J. | Senior Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The new AI-powered writing assistance is particularly impressive. It not only corrects grammar and spelling but also helps rewrite sentences for better clarity, engagement, and impact. The generative AI features save time when drafting emails, reports, and other professional communications. I also appreciate the real-time suggestions that adapt to different writing styles and audiences, making it easier to produce polished content quickly. The integration across multiple platforms continues to improve productivity by providing consistent writing support wherever I work.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly could improve the accuracy of its AI-generated suggestions by better understanding context, industry-specific terminology, and individual writing preferences. More flexibility in accepting or customizing suggestions would be helpful, especially for technical, creative, or specialized content. Expanding the features available in the free version would make the platform more accessible to a wider range of users. Additionally, improving performance in large documents and reducing occasional delays would enhance the overall user experience.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of identifying and correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors in real time. It also helps improve sentence clarity, word choice, and tone, ensuring my writing is more professional and effective. This benefits me by saving time on proofreading, reducing mistakes, and giving me confidence that my communication is polished and well-structured.

  ### 29. Grammarly, Useful for basic needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wendy C. | Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It has been helping with some more of my grammar needs, catching better grammar issues and spelling issue now than previous editions of the Grammarly program. I have used this program for years, and it has continued to develop into a smarter, adaptive program that is learning all the time to become more useful in my everyday writing needs. I use it all the time to help catch things that I might otherwise miss. It might not be perfect yet but it is getting closer all the time.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

It is getting better at not giving answers that make no sense, which I certainly appreciate like it has in the past. It has been getting more useful at helping make concise answers to why it is helping in certain ways, telling me why it thinks something is helpful now, which I think is great, and it got rid of some of the things I didn't like. I think it is on the right path as it is learning more all the time.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proofreading and spell checking is what I use Grammarly more often than not and it has been exceptional in. I really like to be able to use Grammarly for this before sending a novel or short story to an editor to save time and effort.

  ### 30. Too Costly for a Non-Profit

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Now that we don't have access to the full version as a non-profit, we have been allowing the free version to stay plugged in, but it's not great. The free version seems glitchy, and often, the icon is in the way of writing social media posts. You can try to move it, but it often just snaps back to where it was. Even when it says it's plugged into whatever "word processor" you are working with, it won't appear, and it doesn't help. It helped us make the decision not to purchase the full version.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

There are times when I am writing in more of a speaking tone, and Grammarly doesn't always care for that. It's not as easy to use as it used to be, and often, I just turn it off because the free version is just too annoying.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly ensures that stay on point and don't bore my readers with too much minutia or confusing/conflicting wording.

**Official Response from Natalia K:**

> Hi,

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us.

We're sorry that the current experience with the free version has been frustrating. That’s not the level of ease or reliability we aim for.

Our team would like to learn more about what you’re seeing and when Grammarly gets in the way instead of helping. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us here so we can investigate further and see what can be improved: https://gram.ly/47tlPic.

We look forward to hearing from you and finding a resolution.

  ### 31. The savior of the tailored corporate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nithish K. | Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a great tool for anyone who wants to write quickly without worrying about mistakes — it sorts things out on the go! I particularly love the rich vocabulary suggestions which help elevate my writing, and the monthly statistics that give me a clear picture of where I'm improving and where I still need to focus. It's like having a personal writing coach

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I feel Grammarly could do better is its word choice suggestions for technical and conversational language. The suggestions sometimes feel too generic and don't always fit the context — especially when writing in a technical environment or in a more casual, conversational tone. It would be great to see Grammarly better recognise the context and audience of the writing and offer smarter, more relevant vocabulary suggestions accordingly!

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's helping me in my day-to-day activities and keeping me flawless on the process.

  ### 32. Sharp, Clear Emails and Trade Marketing Material Proofing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Sales Administration Support, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

It’s useful to run my writing through this, especially emails, to make sure that when I write to customers it sounds clear, concise, and makes good sense. I’m trying to cut down on how wordy my writing can be, avoid over-explaining, and stop using phrases or terms that aren’t conducive to business communication, and Grammarly helps me reduce those issues. The interface is straightforward; you can upload files or write something yourself and then edit on the fly. It is also easy to set up and you can just log in using your google account so you don't have to remember another account name. I like that I can upload documents directly as long as they are in .doc or .rtf. I've never had any bugs or crashes even with putting in large amounts of writing for edits.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I can't directly upload a pdf and have it spit out the text for editing. I'm also not able to upload other types of files like .pub or .ppt so instead I have to open say, a PDF, put it into edit mode then copy + paste. Takes a bit longer to do it that way.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves my having to read my work over and over again to come up with writing that is short. I need to get to the point quickly and make my point strong while not missing anything. Grammarly helps chop out the essentials from what I need to communicate. Also, I can use the integrated AI function to give some suggestions or write out an example of some copy that I want to use and I can edit from there. It's a good program to bounce ideas and writing off of instead of needing another person to look at it for you. Recently, I've been using it for helping out with grammar and punctuation and clarity for brochures and contracts.

  ### 33. As a nonprofit staff, Grammarly has been a game changer when it was free.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

We no longer have a team as the cost is prohibitive, however, I use it from time to time on the free plan. My colleagues have paid for their own subscription and they really like using it as it's helped them immensely with their email responses and reports.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The price is rather high for nonprofit organizations, however, it's understandable that this service and technology comes at a cost.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A lot of senior leadership staff aren't able to write clearly and it's important to have clear and concise reports for them on a monthly basis. I use Grammarly to proofread and improve what they've written so it's easier to understand. A lot of our team members keep mis-naming our organization's name so the reminders about the proper use and format in the style guide has been really helpful. Sometimes when writing thank you notes to donors can be tedious so the AI writing tool is able to generate some new ideas that I can use as a guideline.

  ### 34. Essential Quality Control for High-Volume Content Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tushar P. | Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The platform adapts perfectly to distinct writing environments, switching seamlessly between casual email communication and formal business documentation. For daily professional workflows, the browser extension is incredibly reliable: it operates across Google Docs, content management systems, and communication tools without causing lag or interrupting the creative process.

The most significant value comes from the sheer volume of time saved during the editing phase. It functions like an automated proofreader, catching structural issues and tone mismatches instantly. This efficiency cuts down total editing time by roughly two to three hours each week, which delivers a clear, measurable return on investment for the premium subscription.

The initial onboarding experience was also completely frictionless. Instead of a steep learning curve, the tool provides clear, contextual explanations directly within the sidebar, making it easy to adopt immediately. Finally, the premium plagiarism checker provides an essential layer of security by verifying research against billions of live web pages before anything goes live.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The tool struggles with contextual memory for stylistic choices. When I dismiss a specific stylistic suggestion multiple times, the algorithm fails to learn that preference and continues to flag it. It also frequently marks technical jargon and industry-specific terminology as errors. You have to spend time manually adding these terms to your personal dictionary to prevent the interface from cluttering with false positives.

From a value perspective, the pricing jump between the free version and the premium tier is quite steep. The premium features are powerful, but the high annual cost means the ROI is harder to justify for casual users.

On the performance side, the mobile keyboard application experiences occasional latency when loading real-time suggestions. The workflow also breaks down slightly in certain environments: I would like to see more stable integrations with workspace tools like Notion and deeper compatibility within complex Slack threads.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform directly addresses the challenge of maintaining absolute editorial consistency across high-volume production schedules. In digital content workflows, manual proofreading for minor grammatical slips, passive voice, and punctuation errors is highly inefficient. Automating this layer of quality control eliminates human oversight and ensures that public-facing text remains authoritative and polished.

This directly benefits operational efficiency by drastically reducing the time spent on basic editing cycles. Instead of executing multiple rounds of manual revisions, the tool provides real-time stylistic refinement, allowing for rapid content deployment. The automated clarity and tone adjustments ensure that complex explanations remain accessible to the target audience, protecting brand credibility without slowing down the publishing pipeline.

  ### 35. Grammarly helps me al lot who corrects mistakes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sachin p. | Mr, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is one of the most polished AI writing assistants available, offering an intuitive UI/UX with a clean interface, real-time grammar corrections, tone detection, and easy navigation that works well for both beginners and professionals. Its biggest strength is seamless integrations with platforms like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Gmail, Slack, and browsers, allowing users to improve writing across almost every workflow without switching apps. Performance is generally fast and reliable, with strong grammar accuracy, clarity suggestions, plagiarism detection, and AI-powered rewriting tools that help users write more professionally and efficiently. In terms of AI and intelligence, Grammarly goes beyond simple proofreading by understanding tone, context, and readability, although it can sometimes over-correct creative writing or produce generic AI-generated suggestions. From a pricing and ROI perspective, the free version covers basic writing needs, while Premium offers advanced features that provide strong value for students, professionals, content creators, and businesses that write frequently, though casual users may find the subscription expensive. Support and onboarding are user-friendly with quick setup, tutorials, and helpful guides, but customer support response times can occasionally be slow. Overall, Grammarly stands out as a highly practical and productivity-focused writing tool that combines usability, intelligent writing assistance, and broad compatibility into a reliable all-in-one platform.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that the website sometimes shows too many ads and upgrade prompts, which can be distracting and break my focus while I’m working.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps solve spelling and grammar mistakes in projects and professional writing. It benefits me by improving accuracy, making my writing clearer, and helping me communicate more professionally.

  ### 36. Easy Grammar Fixes That Elevate Professional Emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hinman D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like Grammarly for how reliably it catches punctuation, grammar, and clarity issues in my emails and business documents in real time. It highlights errors directly in the text and offers clear, one-click suggestions that make my writing more concise and professional without slowing me down. The browser extension and app were very easy to set up and work smoothly across the tools I already use, so I get consistent writing support without changing my workflow. Overall, it has become a dependable part of my daily communication, helping reduce small mistakes and saving time on proofreading.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

For some unknown reason, the program does not open readily in Outlook at times.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct punctuation and grammar in my emails. It points out mistakes and offers suggestions to improve my sentences, which I find very helpful.

  ### 37. A Seamless, Time-Saving Writing Assistant with Smart Tone & Rewrite Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly is a great, professional writing assistant that works seamlessly as a Google Chrome extension. I find it better than Google’s own spell check, and it saves me time and brain power when I’m writing. I especially like the features that check how your tone might be interpreted and that rewrite your work based on an objective.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Many of the best features—and the ones that feel genuinely AI-supported—are locked behind a paywall, which is a downside. That said, the pricing still seems pretty fair if you write a lot, especially if you choose an annual subscription. Also, sometimes the suggestions can flag errors that are not technically wrong and more stylistic, so you do have to be discerning about accepting all recommendations.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly saves me time during the proofreading stage and helps make my writing for any audience more concise and polished. I can easily repurpose text and also score how strong the writing is in just a few simple steps. The platform itself is very straightforward to start using and doesn’t feel cumbersome at all.

  ### 38. Powerful Cross-Platform AI Writing Support with Tone and Clarity Guidance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanth N. | Campus Ambassador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Cross platform integration is one of the most powerful features Grammarly offers. Its AI is quite strong and helps me in correcting grammatical mistakes in my sentences with ease, which makes my writing more meaningful and creates a better impact on readers. It also adjusts tone and clarity as I type, which helps me stay focused on the main subject instead of getting carried away by trivial points.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has got some great premium features which they offer at a very high cost which is one of the things that need to be resolved, apart from that sometimes the text which is fixed using grammarly is flaged as AI content by some platforms even though it was written by humans, which is hindering the performance for students, employees.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps in reducing the communication difficulties that many users face while interacting digitally, it helps in correcting the grammatical mistakes and helps in writing a text with the correct tone and clarity, I have been using this platform since many years and it really helped me in drafting emails within a very short time, write documents regarding my project thus reducing the need to spend more time in drafting them and make good use of that time for better work productivity.

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What i like best about Grammarly is how seamlessly it improves writing quality in real time across my workflows like emails, documents and messaging platforms. The UI is very clean and intuitive and suggestions are clean and easy to apply. I especially value the AI powered tone detection, sentence paraphrasing, and suggestions because they help make communication more professional and concise. Onboarding is very simple with a browser extension and desktop app inregrates very smoothly. Performace is also fast and reliable while giving real time suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I dislike about Grammarly is that some AI suggestions can feel overly polished, especially when I’m writing in a personal or creative tone, because it prioritizes perfect grammar over a more natural flow. The UI is clean, but the pop-up suggestions can sometimes get too noisy and end up cluttering the platform.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of grammatical mistakes, error prone and inefficient writing. It benefits me by helping me write faster, more confidently and with fewer mistakes, especially in professional emails, documents and client communications. I also like the clarity and tone recommendations, which help make my writing more professional and easy to understand. The tool is simple to use and works smoothly across emails, documents, and web browsers, making it very convenient for everyday writing tasks

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some advanced features are only available in the premium version. Sometimes the suggestions can also feel repetitive or overly formal, especially for casual writing. In a few cases, the tool may not fully understand the context of a sentence and can suggest changes that are not necessary.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve problems related to grammar mistakes, spelling errors, unclear sentences, and poor writing tone. It benefits me by improving the quality of my writing, saving time during proofreading, and helping me communicate more professionally and confidently in emails, assignments, and other documents

  ### 41. Grammarly Makes Clear Communication Effortless with Smart Tone Adjustments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ASHISH K. | Student, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I deeply appreciate how Grammarly empowers clear communiccation. Its ability to catch subtle grammar misktakes while offering smart tone adjustments is highly impressive. It acts as a supportive digital editor, helping users refine their authentic vioce overview which beautifully illustrates these unique capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly can sometimes be a bit too rigid. In its quest for textbook perfection, it occasionally flags inttentional stylistic choices or creative phrasing as technical errors. This can accidentlly strip a writer unique authntic voice, flattening the tone into something that feels overly sterilized and robotic instead of naturally human.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the exhausting anxiety of miscommunications, messy typos, and unintentional tone mishaps. By cleaning up text in real-time, it instantly bridiges the gap between what you mean and what you actually write. Wheather you ar drafting technical documnets or creative contient, it benfits ypu by saving precious time, boosting confidence, and ensuring ypur messages land exactly as intended-sharp and professional.

  ### 42. Grammarly Updated Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aynesh V. | Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I also like that Grammarly explains why certain changes are needed, because it helps me learn from my mistakes. The tone detector is helpful as well, since it shows how my writing comes across to others. I also find the vocabulary suggestions useful, because they make my writing clearer and more professional overall.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Grammarly could improve by offering suggestions that better match my writing style and the context of what I’m trying to say. At times, the suggested word replacements don’t fit naturally with the sentence, so I end up changing them back. The free version also feels quite limited, and it would be more useful if it included a few more helpful features without requiring a paid plan.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me fix grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, which means I make fewer errors in my writing. It also improves clarity by suggesting simpler words or phrases, making my text easier to read. Another feature I like is the ability to set the tone for different types of writing. I can adjust it to sound friendly, formal, informal, and so on, depending on what I’m working on.

  ### 43. Effortless Writing Enhancement with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manil G. | Software engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like best about Grammarly is how easy it is to use and implement. It requires minimal setup and starts providing value immediately, whether it’s used in a browser, desktop app, or integrated into writing tools. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it suitable for frequent daily use without disrupting workflow.

Grammarly offers a wide range of features, including grammar and spelling checks, tone suggestions, clarity improvements, and style recommendations, which significantly improve writing quality. It integrates seamlessly with emails, documents, and web-based platforms, making it easy to use across different tools. Customer support and documentation are helpful, and the product is reliable for both quick edits and more detailed writing reviews. Overall, it’s a dependable tool that consistently enhances written communication.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some advanced suggestions can occasionally feel overly strict or stylistic rather than context-aware, especially for technical or domain-specific writing. At times, it may flag correct sentences or suggest changes that don’t align with the intended tone or audience. Additionally, access to more advanced features is limited to the premium version, which may not feel necessary for all users. Despite this, the tool remains very useful when suggestions are applied with judgment.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves the problem of writing errors, unclear communication, and inconsistent tone in everyday professional and personal writing. It helps catch grammar, spelling, and punctuation issues in real time, while also providing suggestions to improve clarity, tone, and readability.

For me, this results in more polished and confident communication with less effort. It saves time during writing and reviewing, reduces the chances of mistakes in important emails or documents, and helps maintain a consistent writing quality across different platforms. Overall, it improves productivity and ensures communication is clear and professional.

  ### 44. Helpful Tool for Professional and Everyday Writing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa S. | Account Manager | Employment Specialist, Staffing and Recruiting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly helps make writing clearer, more polished, and professional while still allowing my natural tone and voice to come through. I especially like the real-time grammar, spelling, and tone suggestions because they help improve emails, reports, academic assignments, and professional communication more efficiently. It is also helpful for catching small mistakes I may overlook when multitasking or working quickly throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some suggestions can feel overly formal or robotic, especially when trying to maintain a more natural and conversational writing style. There are also times when the platform over-corrects wording that was intentionally written a certain way, which can interrupt the flow of writing. Additionally, some of the more advanced features are locked behind the premium version.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps solve issues related to grammar mistakes, clarity, tone, and overall writing quality. It benefits me by improving the professionalism and readability of my emails, reports, onboarding communication, academic assignments, and day-to-day business correspondence. The platform also saves time by catching errors in real time and helping me communicate more clearly and confidently, especially in fast-paced work environments where accuracy and professionalism are important.

  ### 45. Essential Tool for Academic Writers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhiyodaya P. | Technical Content Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I find Grammarly to be extremely useful for academic writing, especially in detecting mistakes in grammar and suggesting ways to improve sentence structure. Its real-time corrections instantly enhance my writing, saving time on manual proofreading. The plagiarism detection tool is a unique and valuable feature for ensuring content is unique, and the tone analyzer helps maintain an academic tone in lengthy papers. I also appreciate how easily Grammarly integrates into browsers, making it convenient to use across different platforms. Installing the browser extension and the Microsoft Word add-in was simple, and it started working instantly, which was great for me as a student.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The free version of Grammarly does not provide many options for users, since most of its features are included in the paid package including the plagiarism checker. It often misunderstands technical terms in the academic domain. Apart from that, it tends to over edit certain writing styles. The cost of Grammarly's premium version seems to be high for students who have little money; an economical version would assist many people. Some number of times plagiarism testing must be added in the free version. Also, Grammarly can give more ideas regarding citation styles such as APA and MLA.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly for academic writing. It detects grammatical mistakes, suggests improvements, and checks for plagiarism. The real-time corrections save time, making my writing clear and formal, while the tone analyzer ensures I maintain an academic tone.

  ### 46. Quick support for spelling, grammar and tone

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel P. | QLD Asset and Maintenance Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is that it helps me improve my writing quickly, not just check spelling.

It uses AI features to suggest better wording, fix grammar, adjust tone, and create clearer sentence structure. This makes it easier for me to write emails, documents, assessment answers, and other work more professionally.

I also like that it offers suggestions as I’m writing, so I can correct mistakes, clarify the wording, and improve the overall flow without having to start over.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Too generic — answers often feel templated and surface‑level.
Too neutral — avoids taking a stance or challenging the user.
Weak context retention — doesn’t adapt deeply to your goals, style, or sector.
Soft writing style — passive voice, vague achievements, low executive polish.
Overly cautious — avoids strong synthesis, prioritisation, or strategic framing.
Inconsistent memory — doesn’t maintain your preferences or application strategy.
Occasional over‑promising — implies capabilities it can’t deliver reliably.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly is helping me solve problems with spelling, grammar, wording, tone and clarity.
It benefits me because it picks up mistakes while I am writing and helps me improve emails, documents, assessment answers and work-related writing. It saves time because I can fix issues quickly instead of re-reading everything multiple times.
It also helps make my writing sound more professional and easier to understand, while still letting me check that the final wording sounds like me.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bibhishan D. | QA Lead, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly has significantly improved the quality of my written communication at work. The real-time grammar and spelling suggestions are accurate and easy to apply with a single click
What I find most useful is the tone detection feature which helps me ensure my emails and messages come across as professional and clear.
The browser extension works seamlessly across platforms like Gmail, LinkedIn, Slack, and Google Docs without any additional setup.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The free version is quite limited and most of the advanced features like tone suggestions, clarity improvements, and plagiarism checker are only available in the premium plan.
Sometimes the suggestions can be overly aggressive and change the intended meaning of a sentence, so you need to review each suggestion carefully.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helped me improve the quality and professionalism of my day-to-day written communication including emails, documentation, reports, and Slack messages.
It reduced the time I spent proofreading my own writing and gave me more confidence when communicating with clients and senior stakeholders.

  ### 48. Grammarly Makes Professional Writing Easier and More Effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bakkesh A. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

The suggestions are clear and easy to follow, and they save me a lot of time when proofreading.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I dislike about Grammarly is that some of the more advanced suggestions are locked behind the premium version. From time to time, it also offers edits that can slightly shift the original tone or meaning of a sentence, so I still need to review the changes manually before accepting them.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps solve problems related to grammar mistakes, unclear communication, and writing confidence. It benefits me by improving the quality of my emails, messages, and documentation, making my communication more professional and easier to understand. It also saves time by providing instant corrections and writing suggestions while I work.

  ### 49. Developers write more than people think, this quietly fixes a lot of it

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anurag S. | Senior Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Most of my writing happens in places don't expect, pull request descriptiosns, Slack messages to client documentation email explaining by something broke. None of that is code but all of it matters, grammarly sitting in the background catching things before they go out has saved me from sending embarrassing messages more than once. Browser extension just works, Gmail, Notion, Linear, Wherever I'm typing it shows up without any setup.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The AI rewrite suggestions sometimes strip out personality entirely. the corrected version is grammatically cleaner but sounds like it was written by nobody in particular.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client communication mostly when you are a developer writing a non technical stakeholders the clarity of your writing matters as such as the accuracy of your code. having something catch unclear sentences or wrong tone before hitting sand has genuinely reduced back and forth with the clans asking for clarification.
