What problems is Grain solving and how is that benefiting you?
We chose Grain instead of using Gemini or pushing for approval on Zoom transcriptions, because the main differentiators are:
- recall (search, cross-call AI, Glean integration)
- workflow integrations (Zapier, Slack, chatGPT)
- organizational structure (filterable library)
Zoom or Gemini transcriptions create "lost in space" artifacts. When you generate meeting transcripts or notes in those platforms, that content exists in isolation without connection to the broader organizational structure.
Grain provides meetings as structured data within an organized repository, which becomes incredibly valuable when you need to find things or for workflows - like integrating into Zapier and ChatGPT.
The recall functionality is much more robust as a searchable knowledge base. I can use it to find all conversations about a specific project, pull up discussions with certain clients, or surface insights made across multiple calls. There’s also the ability to string together clips into longer videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
