**What do you like best about Gradnet?**

I think the thing I like best about Gradnet is the simplicity and student-centricity of the site. It makes the whole process less overwhelming, especially when you're a complete newbie like I am. It brings everything into one place, which is a huge time-saver and reduces confusion. I also like the site because it doesn't intimidate, and I think it knows exactly what a student needs.

**What do you dislike about Gradnet?**

I don’t like a few things about Gradnet, and one of them is that it may feel a little limited in its features or options, especially in comparison to larger platforms. At times, the information may not be as in-depth as I would hope, and this may be a little frustrating at times as well. It may also be improved in its ability to be personalized, as this may be a little more tailored as well.

**What problems is Gradnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What Gradnet is solving is the confusion that students face when trying to find the right opportunities, guidance, and resources in one place. Instead of having to jump from one site to another, it brings it all together, which is a much simpler and less stressful experience for the student. It saves me time and allows me to be more focused on my goals, rather than trying to figure out where to look, and it gives me a better direction, which is great for planning out what I’m going to do next.

**What do you like best about Gradnet?**

I appreciate how Gradnet goes beyond typical alumni platforms by offering features that make it feel like a living extension of the campus. The integrated donation portal and mentorship module reduce the 'friction of giving' and create a natural, non-transactional experience. The Online Voting system is a hidden gem, especially for managing board elections and institutional changes, saving me time and providing a single source of truth. The mentorship module fosters a 'warm' networking environment through its 'Safe Matchmaking,' allowing mentees to request mentors who can then accept or decline based on their availability, thus protecting mentors' time. Additionally, the verified identity and shared history features build instant trust within the community. Gradnet’s self-service profiles keep information updated without manual entry, and the branding and site configuration are relatively easy, providing a tailored and familiar user experience.

**What do you dislike about Gradnet?**

While the "front end" is very clean, the "back end" can be overwhelming for non-technical staff. Setting up complex filters or managing data migration can be a "heavy lift." If you aren't tech-savvy, you might find yourself relying heavily on their support team during the first few months. Gradnet aims to be an "all-in-one" solution, but sometimes it doesn't play as nicely with other tools as it should. If your university already uses a specific CRM like Salesforce, syncing the data between Gradnet and those systems can be challenging.

**What problems is Gradnet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradnet creates a natural giving environment, simplifies mentoring with secure opt-ins, saves time with online voting, and updates alumni data automatically. It enables secure donations and offers a user-friendly social interface. Setting up can be tough for non-tech staff, and third-party integrations are limited.
