## Gradelink Reviews
  ### 1. Exceptional Support and Customization Make Gradelink a Standout Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JodyCGSA . | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is an intuitive platform designed with built-in safeguards to prevent accidental or premature changes. Its ease of use stems from a deep understanding of the needs of schools, teachers, and parents, tailoring the system to each user’s role and responsibilities. For our small, specialized school, Gradelink has been exceptionally valuable because it has been thoughtfully customized to meet our unique requirements. Assistance is only moments away with a live person (Kate Nevar helped me immensely using screenshots and arrows to guide me through step-by-step). The personalized support I receive whenever assistance is needed ensures that we can maximize the platform’s capabilities with confidence and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I haven’t found anything to be unhelpful. Gradelink has met all of our needs effectively.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink has been highly effective for our school, providing reliable tools to manage enrollment, grades, attendance, and family communication.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Platform with Outstanding Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Virginia D. | Academic Counselor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is very user friendly and easy to navigate for staff, parents, and students. Their customer service is top-notch...Kate is very responsive, helpful, and friendly. If a feature is missing, there is often an alternative way to work around it. We use the SmartSend service daily to communicate with students and parents via email or text. Having an app available for students and parents is very helpful!

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Some of the features are a bit "clunky", especially from the scheduling perspective. It would also be nice to see an option for students to have a barcode on their ID so we could scan and automatically charge their account for lunches and other expenses they may incur at school. An app for staff and administrators would be appreciated!

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since implementing Gradelink, all of our student registration is electronical, allowing our office staff to use their time more efficiently. Also, by having SmartSend included in Gradelink, we were able to eliminate multiple email lists that would have to be manually updated each year and as parents made changes.

  ### 3. Wonderful support system!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** School O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Our school began using Gradelink a year ago and our transition was smooth. Our rep, Josue, has been extremely helpful from the beginning with answers to questions, customizations for our school, and friendly suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The only thing I can think of would be a dedicated interface for tracking lunch orders.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink helped us solve communication between staff and families that was more difficult with our previous system.

  ### 4. Gradelink is Dynamic and Cost Effective

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darrin B. | Elementary School Principal, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I have evaluated several SIS systems, including PowerSchool, FACTS, and ALMA. While no SIS system is flawless, I found that Gradelink offers the most practical features for my needs. I appreciate its standards-based grading, the options for parent notifications, and the new parent interface. Additionally, their customer service and support are excellent.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The school website portal feels somewhat outdated, though I am aware that updates are in progress. I would appreciate the addition of more advanced scheduling features. It would also be helpful if users could select specific features tailored to the different divisions of the school, such as elementary or secondary.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers standards-based grading and robust report cards, which I find very effective.

  ### 5. Smooth Transition, Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sr Martina M.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I really like Gradelink's customer service. Josue was exceptional in assisting with my questions. They are very helpful, especially when setting things up. I'm also pleased with the communication option for parents, which is a useful feature.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I would like to see Gradelink add the texting option without added fees. I would really like to use the texting, but our school is small, and we can't afford to pay another fee for the texting option.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink helped solve an issue with non-level credits not adding correctly with other classes, as they don't use the GPA-calculating scale.

  ### 6. Kate Nevar is the BEST!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carole L. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Kate Nevar is the best customer service agent I've ever dealt with at Gradelsink. She is always so personable, cheerful, knowledgable and quick to respond to all of my emails. She also never gives up on an ask. Just recently, even though I told her that we would find an internal work around for adding an additional grade scale to our report cards, she continued to look for a way to fulfill my request. Kate is a real gem! Please do everything you can to keep her!!!

With regards to Gradelink itself, right from the first test run, I liked how intuitive and user friendly it is for both teachers and parents. It't not a fussy program and it has all the basics of what we need as an elementary school.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

To be honest, every teacher has the same complaint about Gradelink, which is the inability to manipulate the final grade - if a student has a 89.7% final grade, and wants to bump it up to a 90%, there is no opportunity to do so before finalizing the report card. The teacher must go back to change one of the assignment grades until the final grade reflects a 90%. This is both tedious and time consuming for teaches with over 180 students. Other programs we've used give the chance to make minor adjustments based on teacher judgement before finalizing. We are hoping your programers can incorporate something similar to help our teachers.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently needed to implement a second grade scale which Kate helped me to figure out a work around! Kate never gives up and thinks fast on her feet! : )

  ### 7. Fast Response to Questions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alfredo P. | Head Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Whenever I have questions, they answer immediately.
Easy access and easy to let parents know the screen name and password.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Honestly, it is easy to use, and they always help immediately whenever I email my questions. I do not have any dislikes.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped me with everything, from transcripts, school messages, modifying GPA scales, to students' input.
It has saved me time when I need something done quickly.
I know that I can just email my questions, and they will respond immediately.
In my experience, I would say on average, it takes less than 5 minutes to respond.
Especially when parents request a transcript without any advance notice.

  ### 8. Dedicated Personal Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The dedicated customer support that Gradelink has provided for our Indiana school has helped us solve many data issues that arise during data exchange with the IDOE. Kate Nevar has been top notch in problem solving and offering quick replies, even if she has had to hand the issue off to Gradelink's deveopment team for changes. This kind of dedicated support for our school will keep us coming back to Gradelink for our SIS. Thank you, Kate, and thank you Gradelink for providing thoughful support for your schools. It makes a difference!

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

We are pleased with all things Gradelink, at the moment.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink has provided dedicated customer support for our Indiana school to solve many data issues that arise during data exchange with the IDOE.

  ### 9. User-Friendly and Helpful, But Calendar Glitches Need Fixing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is straightforward to use, and I appreciate that there is a help option available whenever I need clarification on something.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I am not happy with the fact that the calendar occasionally glitches. After I enter an event, it sometimes shifts to a different day or time, which can be frustrating.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At our school, we rely on Gradelink for teachers to input grades and for the administrative team to manage their tasks.

  ### 10. Using Gradelink has been an amazingly, smooth experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The most helpful thing for us, is the "?" at the top of the page on gradelink.
If we can't figure out the issue from that, then we know Kate, will help us.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Having a designated support, is wonderful. We rely on Kate to help us out with the complicated questions.
The financial tab on a child's account is hard to read- for us at least.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been a great tool from administrative side all the way to the teachers, students, and parents side.

  ### 11. Kate Nevar is OUTSTANDING at helping me navigate Gradelink and so very helpful!

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

A lot of student information and reports can be ran in one area.

I would like tutorials on each page to suggest using the functions properly.

**Reviewed by:** Kelly B. | Admin Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Support is awesome. Never a delay in communication

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

At this point, there isn't anything I don't like

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had difficulty printing the family directory and needed to include all active families. When a comma was inserted, it threw off the document. I would not have know that without getting help from support

  ### 13. Customer support from Christina is excellent! She is prompt and professional.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany S. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I like the administrator report options and the attendance accounting. The customer support is great.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I would like it if it was easier to edit student information from the parent's end.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking attendance and demographics

  ### 14. A SIS that is easy to use and offers features and modules to meet your needs.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey P. | Technology Coordinator, Primary/Secondary Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink offers addition modules that you can add on late, such as billing and enrollment. Teachers love the ability to integrate Google Classroom with importing grades, making daily grade imputing easier.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Our school does have issues with syncing data with our state that is required by the state.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Gradelink for their enrollment module, EnrollMe, which greatly reduces time and paperwork collecting during enrolling new students. Teachers take advantage of linking Google Classroom to Gradelink to make grading quicker and easier.

  ### 15. Service from Gradelink is top notch.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zach S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The service that is provided whenever we have questions is rather helpful. Axel Maldini has been particularly helpful whenever I have had questions.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

It can take time to learn the system and how to complete certain tasks.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a platform for everything from grades, to communication, to holding important student information.

  ### 16. Excellent customer support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Axel was great to work with. His knowledge of the job made it easy for him to teach me not only how to navigate, but make adjustments to our platform. I learned a lot for him in a short period.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Navigating through the number of features.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed assistance with reconstructing the school's report card.

  ### 17. Best way to keep parents, schools and students connected!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Supreet S. | Co-Founder, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is a great software when it comes to making all the data that's relevant accessible to students, parents and schools. The customer support is very responsive, and the software updates regularly!

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The only downside for Gradelonk is the lack of user-friendliness, due to which it becomes increasingly difficult for someone who is new to access the software and the help tutorials also need to be updated and made easy to understand.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing all relevant files and data and making them accessible to parents, teachers, and students is something that Gradelink does better than the rest of the K-12 SIMSI have used to date.

  ### 18. Needed guidance on Teacher Pages.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The helpful service when I don't know something.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I don't have many complaints, it sometimes required extra thinking.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to add multiple periods so teachers could have a teacher page for each class.

  ### 19. Gradelink is a teacher's bestfriend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdelkadir B. | Online and In-home English Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I like how it helps me keep in touch with parents about their children's progress, behaviour, ect...
I like how it saves time automatically doing tasks that teachers like me normally take forever to complete manually.
I like how friendly and reliable the costumer service is.
It makes it easier for me to manage my online students informations and details.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I don't like the fact that i cannot send multiple files at once.
It can be a little pricey for low-fund teachers if they want the paid version.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before i discovered gradelink, i used to struggle with my tasks as a teacher and administrator at the same time, managing your students online is no easy task, but with gradelink, every task that used to take me days to finish, i can now get done with simple clicks. I can easily keep in touch with parents and report to them. Overall Gradelink makes my life easier as a teacher.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Thank you for sharing so many ways you are using Gradelink to make your job easier, Abdelkadir!

  ### 20. Easiest grading system around!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mandy F. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I love the ease of which I can enter grades, change weights on certain assignments in different glances, quickly get a report of what assignments my students are missing across all subjects, and an overview of their current grades!

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I've yet to find anything I really dislike, with perhaps my least favorite section being the lesson planning section. It's a little overwhelming to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

If you need a product that is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to share with your school parents, this is it. Gradelink has made grade entry and report card completion so much simpler and less time consuming!

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not sure about business problems, but the benefits are that our school parents can log in and see their students' missing assignments, grades, and upcoming school events.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> The development team works hard to make Gradelink easy to use, so it’s very rewarding to read your review, Mandy! Please get in touch with your support rep so we can help you get more comfortable working with lesson plans.

  ### 21. Functional If a Bit Clunky

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is good for maintaining basic information on your current roster. It's nice that you are able to find the info you need on your kids at the time you need it.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is, in my opinion, is expensive for what you get. Reporting is cumbersome and limited. For example, pulling attendance reports requires at least ten extra clicks that a good redesign could do away with. Additionally, the visual presentation of the site is rather displeasing.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

I would strongly encourage your to explore your options. The feel and performance of system are dated.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While Gradelink certainly beats that old paper process, it's not by a whole bunch. The main benefit of this SIS is the ability to have the information at your fingertips, even if it takes more effort to compile it than is ideal.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Please contact your support rep regarding your reports. We’re happy to help you work more efficiently and find the report options you need. And remember, there’s no charge for training and support.

  ### 22. Great customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Technology Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The user interface is very user friendly. As the admin user, I am able to manuever through the entire program and troubleshoot all users.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

There is really nothing I don’t like about this program. The program offers many options for all types of grading.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving several issues. The parents love the online app and the teachers enjoy the grade features and communication features. The parents are more connected to their child’s grades.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Many thanks for sharing your experience with Gradelink, Adam!

  ### 23. Easy to use program with multiple functions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The easy to which you can move from screen to is great. Allows for different functions to be performed without having to have multiple programs.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Concluding semesters before some are ready to move into the next semester can cause some problems, but it isn't a deal breaker and I am sure this will be addressed in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Gradelink is a great program and will just continue to get better as time allows for bugs to be worked out and other features added.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink allows us to do many different things and not have to learn multiple programs.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We’re glad you’re getting so much out of Gradelink, Dadrian!

  ### 24. Gradelink pros and cons

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I like how the customer satisfaction specialist, Axel Maldini, treated me with respect and got right on the issue to resolve it. I was new to the system and he made me feel like my issue was important to him as well. He went above and beyond with his solution and follow-up.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I wish there was in-person training for new users of the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Great for parents and teachers but need training for admin.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Starting a new year with our school system. Customer support is more than welcoming with any issue, large or small.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Axel likes the new title you gave him: “customer satisfaction specialist”! While we don’t have in-person training, help is always available by phone, email and at our help website. We also have webinars periodically that are open to all. To find out what’s coming up next, subscribe to our newsletter at gradelink.com/newsletter. The best part – it’s all free!

  ### 25. Gradelink Helps Schools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink helps the school administration to keep track of attendance so the teachers and the administration can have access to the same attendance information, thereby not interrupting class time. In addition, it allows for teachers to input grades throughout the trimesters and for parents to have access to those grades. When the parents have access to their children's test and homework scores, they are permitted more autonomy over their children's grades. Therefore, teachers and parents can work together to ensure students receive the best education and are meeting and/or exceeding their academic expectations.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

While some may find it helpful to have everything in one software, the website can be overwhelming due to the many different tabs and functions available. We use it mainly for attendance, grades, and scheduling. There are many additional features, and due to cost or the comfort of a current system we already use, we do not make the switch to Gradelink.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Consider all of the current systems that a school uses to keep track of enrollment, attendance, grade tracking, etc., and determine if it is cost-effective to switch to Gradelink. In addition, consider the time it takes to train administrative staff to use new software and to become comfortable with that product.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of grading and attendance. Since the teachers can fill out attendance each morning, the administration does not have to interrupt class each morning to ask for attendance. It also allows us to better keep track of each student, particularly during this year when tracking who was out due to illness was essential. Having an electronic system to keep track of attendance has been an enormous help, especially this year.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We’re glad you’re enjoying the benefits of using Gradelink! We want you to feel comfortable with everything available to you, so please talk with your support rep about free training. By using more of Gradelink’s features, you’ll work more efficiently and stop paying for redundant software.

  ### 26. A basic software for lesson plans and grading records.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is a very basic, easy to use software for lesson planning and keeping grading records. Gradelink also enables teachers to have easy access to student documents.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Gradelink did not offer all of the capabilities that other educational software programs offered. It would be great to have batch email capabilities and instant messaging between teacher and parents.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink still offers the benefit of completing lesson plans on an online database. It also allows for teachers to record grades. However, the portal for parents was not excellent.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Actually, Gradelink does have the ability to send emails to groups. It also has tools for texting and voice messaging, parent alerts, enrollment, billing, and more. Take a look at gradelink.com/features to see what it has to offer.

  ### 27. Gradelink was easy to use but did not provide as many features as desired.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is easy to navigate and conducive for writing lesson plans and logging grades.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I do not care for the formatting of the lesson plan category with this software.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink was helpful when the school I worked in was small. It was an affordable option for us.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We value our schools’ feedback, so please let us know what features you’d like to see. With over 150 features, reports, and integrations, there may be some you missed. Plus, we always welcome suggestions for new features in order to better serve our schools.

  ### 28. Easy to implement and use platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donald K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink can all be used and multiple users' access can be customized. Is user-friendly and offers all the information we need for students.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The teacher lesson plans feature is not so user-friendly. We can export / download reports EnrollMe & GPA & Scores. We 'd like these details to be updated. It is also perfect if we send an email to a school that automatically includes all of the teachers interested in this class.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Gradelink was a great tool for our school, enabling us to do things which require several programs and cost less money. This software allows all student information from all web pages to be encrypted.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A place for a lot of information. Enrollment is easier. Also, we can use Excel Export to create forms in Word, to import documents to mail merge using Excel table. Therefore, you can read all of our emergency materials for the classroom and field trips in a readable format.

  ### 29. user friendly platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corbin J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I appreciate the rating sheet settings very much. I used to do average by hand and it's amazing, because it is automatically measured for the student in-assignment as well as the average student in the quarter. The lessons on copying, pasting and hit are indeed fantastic instruments. It is easy to modify or change as needed, if things are not planned, far easier than removing plans from a programming book. For me, the use of online reports with full transcripts is one of the most useful things with Gradelink.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The problem with getting the previous grades and transcripts of a student is a little distressing. It was a challenge. The financial sector will also strive to improve its usefulness. I will appreciate in courses the opportunity to block non-school days. It will help to schedule a vacation in order to miss lesson plans on those days. The style of the paint. This is also beneficial for the classroom to distinguish between the students, as set in Excel, by alternating colors / colors.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

I suggest Gradelink to another school for an online evaluation and information program. The transformation is quick and fast. The new framework does not have to change any downtimes. It is an creative and easy to use platform which is continuously evolving. I also recommend that you guarantee that before implementing it this software meets all the requirements.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me answer the problem of excitement among students about future initiatives and activities. Already resolved is the online rating paper. Mass emails may be used to submit reminders to inspire students to think about future events. Gradelink was a big time saver and a guide to keeping the lesson plans coordinated. The contact between professors has improved. Have made it easy to generate report cards and transcripts.

  ### 30. Modern platform, easy to implement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink ease of use is what I like most. I will send the email, grades and lesson plans to my students and parents all in one place. It's great to centrally situate everything in an online database that we can access from anywhere. Clutter has been that by paper trail elimination in our classrooms. It made our registration and registration process quick, effective and professional.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I haven't wanted the CCSS to be put in Gradelink anymore. As most countries are using the CCSS, it seems like they already have to be in the Gradelink network. It will also make it even more commercially viable. I have made my job much more productive and structured by setting this aside.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

For the logistical needs of their school I would advise them to use Gradelink. We 're scratching the surface, but it's helped tremendously our school.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Gradelink the biggest challenge I've overcome is that I can give my students and parents details quickly and conveniently without keeping email addresses at the same time. The clutter and need for a cabinet wall has been that in our office. It was very quick and effective to follow our registration process. The sizes and policies have been streamlined for the students. This also provided them with the ability to observe and observe individual events with each student, instead of having to meet periodically in order to review and determine what to report.

  ### 31. Excellent platform, it is easy to adapt.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donna S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I really appreciate the configuration of the grade sheet. I used to have to do the average by hand, and it is great that everything is calculated automatically, both for the student in the quarter and for the average student in each task. The copying, pasting and bumping lessons are great tools too. It is also easy to adapt or adapt much better as needed than to delete plans from a schedule book if things are not quite as expected.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The ability to block non-school days is something I would appreciate in the course plans. This would help plan a holiday so that lesson plans can be missed over those days. The design of color. It is also helpful for the grading board to differentiate between students by alternating colors / colors, as you can set in excel.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

In order to obtain an online grading and information system, I recommend Gradelink to another school. It's a simple and easy transition. The new system has hardly any downtime to be adjusted.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink was a big saver of time and a key to organizing yourself with your lesson plans. The communication among faculty members has improved. Has made report cards and transcripts easy to produce.

  ### 32. Intuitive platform, easy to use.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven P. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The access I have to my class (rates, attendance, etc.), almost everywhere, for me is one of the most useful things about Gradelink. The usage and posting of report cards online with completed transcripts.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The trouble I have in obtaining the previous grades and transcripts of a student is a little distressing. Which was a challenge. To order to encourage its usefulness, the financial sector must also function.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

I recommend its implementation, it is an innovative and constantly improving platform, easy to use, I also recommend that you make sure that this product meets all your requirements before implementing it.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me address the issue that students are optimistic about potential activities and initiatives. The online rating file is also solved. You can leave notes via mass emails to encourage students to know about upcoming events.

  ### 33. Functional and very intuitive platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is easy to use and has all the knowledge we need for students at your disposal.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

There are reports we can export/download EnrollMe & GPA & Scores reports. We want to change those data. This will also be cool if we send an email to a school to include all teachers involved in this class automatically in the e-mail.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

This software works very well to encrypt all student information from every internet device.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enrollment is also simpler. Additionally we can use Excel Export to create forms in Word, to import document into mail merge using the Excel table. Therefore, you can read all our emergency material for classroom and field trips in a readable format.

  ### 34. Safe and easy to use platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon J. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is easy to use and has at your fingertips all the information that we need for students.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

We would like to modify certain reports that we can export / download the data (Report EnrollMe & GPA & Scores). It'd also be cool if all teachers attending this class are included automatically in the email if we send an email to a class.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

This program works very well to safeguard all student information from any computer with internet access.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Registration is a lot simpler. In addition we can build various forms with Excel Export in Word and then use the Excel table to import documents into mail merge. All our emergency information can therefore be read in a readable form for classroom and field trips.

  ### 35. Innovative platform easy to implement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The transcripts are used and the report cards are distributed online. Full school or just a class ability to send parents quickly. Love grades, participation and disciplines.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

In order to make it accessible, the financial sector still needs research. Our old program was reporting tardies differently. Nonetheless, the grade link always fits well. I liked her approach.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Pricing by number of pupils is available and small school issues can also be addressed.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transcripts, reach parents through mass emails, and leave notes for students , employees, and parents. The office and the teachers are quickly given to parents. Parents are immediately sent an email to grades and disciplines.

  ### 36. Gradelink Simplified Our Administration Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

We have been using Gradelink for several years now and it has simplified our administration and record keeping process tremendously. It's wonderful having everything centrally located in one database, online, that we can access from anywhere. It has reduced the clutter in our office as well as our classrooms by reducing the paper trail. It has made our re-enrollment and enrollment process smooth, efficient and professional. Gradelink has a wonderful support staff very willing to answer questions as well as show you where to find the answers yourself.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I'm not sure there's anything I dislike about it! It really has made my job much more efficient and organized.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

I would encourage anyone to use Gradelink for their school's administrative needs. We just scratch the surface of what Gradelink can do but it has helped our school tremendously!

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduced clutter and the need for a wall of filing cabinets in our office. It has made tracking our enrollment process very easy and efficient. It has streamlined our grading scales and policies for our teachers. It has also given them a way to record and log activities for each student individually instead of having to meet regularly to discuss and decide what should be logged.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> It’s wonderful to hear that you are getting so many benefits out of using Gradelink, Jessica! Thank you for sharing.

  ### 37. Awesome Educational Management Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine W. | Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I am impressed with two features that I find super helpful. The first is the smart send feature is extremely helpful. It allows me to quickly send mass emails to all of my parents to keep them in the know. I also appreciate that I can send individual messages securely with confidence to individual parents. The second is just as useful to me as an educator wishing to share instantly with families, the grade book feature. I find the grade book feature helps to keep both students and parents informed of the progress their child is making.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I don't dislike any part of Gradelink. I feel this platform offers many tools to benefit teachers and administration. How can you dislike a platform that has so many benefits from taking role quickly, emailing parents, posting important information privately to parents portals, and keeping track of grades and daily lesson planning? All this in one convenient place.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

If you are looking for a great platform with amazing tech support at the click of a mouse, look no further than Gradelink. This platform offers a wide variety of features that will meet the needs of your school.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am beginning to use the lesson plan feature, and I am hoping this will save me time planning my lessons. I like how you can use the features as it is or change it to meet the needs of your personal planning.

  ### 38. Great communication tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anita S. | Wellness/Fitness Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I like the ability to give both concise and detailed information in an electronic format. Without character limitations I am able to give a complete understanding as to why a student received a specific grade on an assignment in Wellness class that is based on my subjective reasoning.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

The inability to merge report card comments by typing them in a stand alone entry point. Right now we have to add them to a dialogue box that other teachers are contributing to. It would be much better to be able to type the comments and then enter them so that they will appear in a narrative text box as opposed to all teachers using the same narrative box to put in comments.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't use GL for business related issues. I use it solely for Wellness/Fitness class.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Thank you for feedback, Anita! It’s an important part of our ongoing product development. You actually can do what you're describing with comments, so please contact your support rep and we'll be glad to help you.

  ### 39. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aubrey M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

What I like most about Gradelink is it's ease of use. I am able to email my students and parents, complete my grades, and complete lesson plans all in one place!

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

What I have disliked is that the CCSS aren't already placed into Gradelink. As most states use the CCSS, it would seem that it would be necessary for these to be in the Gradelink system already. It would also make it even more marketable.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I have solved using Gradelink is that I can easily and quickly get information out to my students and parents at the same time without having to remember email addresses.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Our development team works hard to make Gradelink easy to use, so they appreciate your comments, Aubrey! Although there are thousands of CCSSs built into Gradelink, if you need additional standards, please contact your friendly support rep for assistance.

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

Gradelink is extremely user friendly and has streamlined student records, business operations and parent communication.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Not always able to accommodate things we'd like to track. However, we do submit suggestions and they do get reviewed.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

very easy to use, great support from Gradelink and saves a lot of valuable time

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink has saved a tremendous amount of time since we began doing online reenrollment. We also track prospects and are able to have an easier follow-up system.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We love hearing that you’re using Gradelink to save so much time, Teresa! And we really do appreciate your feedback because it helps us better understand our customers’ needs.

  ### 41. Flexibility Is the strongest point with this system.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I love the fact that if something doesn’t match up with what you need, all it takes is a phone call and they can make a change for you.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

There really isn’t a mobile version. I use my iPad almost 100% and the teacher planner has some issues with iPad OS.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Once you make the choice to switch, you will not regret it. It has been an amazing service and will never go back.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing our students info, grade, billing, and lunch system. Being able to have it all in one system and have it located off site where we don’t have to manage it, makes it completely worth it.

  ### 42. A integral part of our program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dale S. | Chaplain and Bible Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2020

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I dislike slightly the difficulty I have in importing grades or transcripts from a students' previous school. This has been a challenge for the past year.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gradelink aids me in solving the problem of students being proactive with regards to upcoming assignments and projects. It also solves the archiving of grades online for multiple years.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

The grade book is very simple to use. I’m really looking forward to the pending integration with google classroom. The lesson planning software is really flexible and easy to customize and use.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

I don’t like that I can’t import last year’s plans into this year’s grade book en masse. I wish the comments for report cards were more flexible.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

This software was really easy to adjust to, and is very user-friendly.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have any specific problems with gradelink! It’s easy to use and even has some features that I don’t use, but others may find valuable.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We’re glad you are enjoying Gradelink. With lesson plans, you may find Templates and Collections useful. To learn more, just click on the question mark icon at the top of the screen in Gradelink or get in touch with your support rep and they’ll be happy to help!

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

Resigning in everytime I come to my computer. The setup of class conclusion is difficult.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing my time and class schedule is helpful.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> We’re glad you’re making good use of Gradelink, Aaron! We understand that having to sign in each time can be annoying, however, we work to ensure the security of all accounts. For convenience, your administrator can adjust the time it takes for Gradelink to automatically log you out.

  ### 47. Useful for small private schools

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

The use of transcripts being completed and publishing the report cards on line for parents

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

It is difficult to use when you are an administrator and primary teacher of certain grades/classes. You have to set up several profiles to be able to do both jobs. The financial area still needs to be work on to further its usability.

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

It is great for small private school; because it allows for pricing per number of students; as well as addressing small school issues

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transcripts, reaching parents through mass emails and leaving notes for students, staff and parents to be able to know upcoming events

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

  ### 48. The right tool for the job!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen H. | Teacher, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Gradelink?**

I'm a furniture maker by trade! It was imperative for me to have the right tool for the job; they needed to be sharp, accurate and close by so that I could do my job effectively and efficiently.

I look at Gradelink as a continuation of that sentiment! My students' positive success is largely because I use the right tool for the job: Gradelink! It empowers them to better results, which equals success!

Gradelink gives students immediate feedback! I love the comments I can give on individual assignments.

**What do you dislike about Gradelink?**

That it's not connected to Google Classroom! This is going to have to be the next step for Gradelink's success! Empower teachers to do less work by having to input grades from Google Classroom into Gradelink!

**Recommendations to others considering Gradelink:**

Having been in education for almost 20 years, there's nothing better than being able to grade students work and automatically populating and collating these into student report cards. It takes HOURS off my workload. It's an absolute joy to use.... and very simple too!

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a split class of two different grades is painful when you only want to assign an assignment to one class and not have a separate course to split the class! Particularly when there are assignments that are the same for both classes, and there are some assignments that are basically the same but slightly different!

Catering for individual needs is also problematic in Gradelink!

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Thank you for sharing how you are using Gradelink to contribute to your students’ success, Stephen! Google Classroom integration is something we are working towards. We understand that working with split classrooms can be a challenge, so please contact your support rep to see how we can help you.

**What problems is Gradelink solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits of a grade link, they are I can communicate with parents easily, put in grades, print out reports, do so many things.

**Official Response from Phil Moffitt:**

> Thank you for writing a review, Joan! Please talk with your support rep about your emails and they’ll be glad to help you.
