Our company is currently implementing a new CRM from a company that told us they had established a GovWin API, which was a key reason we chose them, but it turns out they had not yet established said API and they've had serious issues properly setting up the API on their end. As a Business Development Manager, I use several tools to do things such as researching previous and current opportunities, gathering intelligence on competitors, pipeline development, and more; however, NONE of the tools are even remotely close to GovWin IQ. Over the past three years, GovWin IQ has supported our Business Development efforts to roughly $40 million in new wins. The system is amazingly robust and provides the insight I need to develop winning strategies for Business Development efforts. I would gladly give up every other available tool to keep GovWin IQ. Efficiencies gained from the automated email notifications of updated opportunities targeted to our lines of business ensures we don’t miss out on a chance to compete. The other tools have info sometimes, but it's not near as much as GovWin and it's often not as accurate. It does have a large pool of good information, but it has a learning curve to figure out how to find it. **What do you dislike about GovWin IQ?** I do not like the visual layout of info in GovWin. It's not intuitive how you go about finding information and data isn't laid out in an organized manner. The whole site is just gray and the search features are not very intuitive. I have had several trainings on how to use the software and still when I go to do it on my own I can't figure it out. It's not as easy to use as other platforms and often doesn't pull up what I am looking for. I also only have access to the federal half of GovWin.
