What do you like best?

What do you like best?

GotoAssist is software that has as main function the handling or communication of remote form which allows to observe simultaneous screens like the transference of information between people through PC, MAC or mobile devices this remote system entails that the way of handling of information is of greater facility without no type of frustrations since the diverse tasks can be shared or work in the shared use up to a number of 8 clients interconnected simultaneously offering technical support between the parts that need it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

One of the main things that always play against remote use tools is that the privacy of each and every GotoAssist does not escape from that insecurity since it does not have encrypted security codes and allows strange devices to erroneously interconnect to any available device, also that GotoAssist commercial service has a high cost for each membership to pay which reduces the level of recruitment of the software after the free time offered by it. One of the main recommendations our industry can offer GotoAssist is to try to encrypt a privacy code where everyone needs a private link to interconnect in a totally secure way without compromising any important computer data in the remote connection or file transfer by the same but nevertheless GotoAssist is one of the best remote management tools. What do you like best?

GotoAssist is today one of the most popular remote supports in the administration and management of IT infrastructure-based call centers. With GotoAssist you can boost your operations at a low cost because it has very manageable rates. The program is very easy to use and the interface is quite fluid and also extremely versatile as it allows you to use it both in Windows and in Mac, you have the option of converting a simple phone conversation into an online support chat which allows you to have control over the computers at the other end and finally it has a very fast data transfer option and you can share the screen two ways. What do you dislike?

The reboot and reconnect option can sometimes fail, the platform sometimes gets heavy when multiple users access it to the point of freezing the screen and losing control of the computer, the drawing tools seem unnecessary and the program does not explain how to use them, the GotoAssist web interface can be slow and outdated is quite problematic when working and the installation of the program is a bit slow. The environment at GotoAssist would be quite useful in a business environment with multiple remote employees or working in remote employee mode is also perfect for situations where you want to help a customer without leaving your office and also save valuable time but it also depends on how satisfied the customer feels with a remote service and finally I would not recommend for companies that have a bad internet connection. My organization makes use of GotoAssist in the IT department to help users who are remotely located outside the United States for work. Thanks to GotoAssist we have been able to train multiple people in different areas and also when we need to solve a problem we do not need to send links but simply connect to the users' computers and solve it quickly without them being in front of their computer GotoAssist has been a great discovery by our organization. Hasnt changed much over the years, it was gotoassist and now this is the spinoff. Not much innovation and sometimes wont connect. Not as reliable as others I have used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The unattended support is a great feature, I am able to keep a list of all employees computers and when they are having an issue I cannot verbally walk them through, I can simply remote into their system and resolve the issue.

What do you dislike?

Slower than Teamviewer in a lot of ways. Having an employee set up the unattended support on their computer was a little more difficult that the similar setup down in Teamviewer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you use a 3rd party IT company for any business related issues be it from printer connection errors to networking and you have an IT savvy person on your payroll, giving them this tool to solve issues across the company can become profitable incredibly fast.
