What I like best about GoReminders is how much time it saves while helping me stay organized. The automated text reminders reduce no-shows and eliminate the need to manually contact every client before an appointment. As a business owner, I can schedule reminders in advance and know my clients are receiving timely notifications. It’s simple to use, reliable, and has made managing appointments much more efficient. One thing I dislike about GoReminders is that when you reach the maximum number of appointments allowed under your plan, the system stops adding new appointments. There isn’t enough warning or flexibility, which caused me to miss a few appointments before I realized I had reached the limit. I would like to see more prominent notifications, automatic alerts, or an option to continue adding appointments with an overage charge rather than having scheduling stop unexpectedly. Now we can just plug their appointment in and they get multiple reminders and we don't have to scour the calendar each day! It's also provided an easier avenue for clients to reschedule. Setting up client list is fast and straightforward. The calendar is straightforward as well although this is where the quirks come up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about GoReminders? Many times I have put a repeat client into the calendar, and despite selecting the appointment to repeat every 2 weeks, it would not. Or it would repeat once, then stop. After my first month I discovered many appointments had simply disappeared from the calendar, so now I keep and eye on it, not sure what that was about. I just need it to send appointment reminders to clients, so when the appointments are in the schedule it does a good job of that. The babysitting is a little annoying. It was super easy to set up. I wanted a booking app for my clients that was simple to use and did not collect much personal information. I also had no need for extra features (ie. separate email, storing client notes/invoicing etc), that I already had subscriptions and software for. Also in setting up my weekly calendar it forced me to think critically about my time availability and the flexibility I was able to offer without having to make these decisions after every client email/call. Now they can book, and if they ask for time outside the hours displayed, sometimes I can decide to flex but often I just send them to someone else who can more easily accommodate them. It’s saved a HUGE amount of time, and decision making. Also, I love that it will send reminders automatically so I don’t have text clients. This has decreased no-shows and late cancels. If I had one major complaint, it’s that you can’t change your colors. We had 3 people quit. When we tried to delete them, everyone’s schedule changed color. We fixed this by making three blank people but I would be nice not to have to scroll past the blanks to get to yours when booking.
