Every one of the products I had printed via Gooten got either 5-star reviews or messages saying that the print is beautiful. I had tried a few different POD providers for my shop, and have narrowed it down from approx. 7 to 3, of which Gooten is one. I will continue using this service indefinitely. \*\*\* Gooten has some products that other POD services don't have, so it is valuable for that aspect alone. Quality is very important to my business, and the 1st Folio phone case that I added to my store via Gooten got 5 stars from my customer. That is confidence building. When new to Gooten, there is an automatic manual review process by Gooten staff to check for file resolution, quality etc. before items can be sent to fulfillment. That is totally understandable, however, the item my customer ordered sat there for days with no indication that it was being reviewed, or when it would be. I wrote to Gooten when I got worried about this, and instead of telling me an ETA- I got an off-point email response about how manual checking is a courtesy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Gooten: Don't shy away from using this service even if it's a bumpy start. Just prepare to have to jump through a few hoops to start, and hopefully Gooten will make the process more user-friendly & end-customer friendly for those new to the platform. The API integration documentation is well done, and we are liking the dashboard, the product selection, and the ease of using the system. The customer service - once we got past the gatekeeper - has been prompt, enthusiastic, and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Gooten? If anything, would recommend that they have three tiers - low level print on demand for someone opening a small store and wanting to sell a few items, enterprise level for functional clients, and at least a person dedicated to emerging companies who have the capability of going large but aren't there yet. Instead the initial outreach was a tiny bit dismissive as in "go read our FAQs" but after we made a relationship with them, it's been great. We understand that we were not a "tested" proven company, but we were also not a mom & pop store looking to sell some mugs. Recommendations to others considering Gooten: If you are looking for a robust, enterprise friendly print on demand service, be sure to compare Gooten. What problems is Gooten solving and how is that benefiting you? Looking to solve the print on demand issue for higher end custom artwork. We didn't want to buy printing supplies or be in the printing business, but our clients and customers want a printed product. Powered with Gooten we can not only get print and shipping on demand, but we can literally do it globally with a few checkboxes on the platform. Sometimes there may be a lag when dealing with vendor issues through Gooten since they are not the end manufacturer. But the benefits of having Gooten as an HQ 'portal' with outreach to a vast network of manufacturers outweigh the occasional delays in communication between all the parties involved. Gooten is very easy to use and instantly feels more high quality than most other POD sites. You can sense that the products are hand-picked to ensure a certain quality standard, Gooten does not offer everything under the sun (but still have a great range of products!). I also appreciate the white-label support and the possibility to customize packaging slips or neck labels. Great service! I love some of the unique products, like the BIO phone cases. Very good quality, selection of products, good customer service, and low shipping fees. One of the main reasons Gooten was my first PoD service used was because they had a product with various sizes that other PoDs didn't have. Their prices were also better than their competitors, along with their quality so it made it a no-brainer to go with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Gooten? The interface for a single product having variations is confusing. I don't mean adding multiple size versions of a single product, I mean one size but has multiple variations. Figuring out how to add those variations to a single product is painful. It took me a very long time to work it out, and I even made a guide for it but it still ends up being messy. I use two platforms for my business, one is Shopify and the other is Etsy - and this method is confusing for both. There should be a video walk-through for this, or the interface reworked. Originally I had to go to manufacturers in China to gets my mats made but since Gooten has so many size options, I've switched to them. The product selection, prices, and integration offerings set them apart from the others. But where Gooten shines the most is the customer service. I sent one email and had multiple follow ups and guidance - resolving my issue simply and quickly. Linking the products I was looking for to my Woocommerce store couldn't have been easier. I recently needed to make a transition with my store and customer service was very responsive and helpful. Gooten has one of the easier integration models and the platform is user-friendly.
