What I like best about Google Workspace is that it gives our organization one shared and reliable environment to manage daily work. We use it to communicate, organize documents, collaborate on files, schedule meetings and keep track of different activities across the team. Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs and Sheets are all connected, so it is much easier for people to access the information they need and work together even when they are not in the same place. It also helps us reduce confusion around file versions, because documents can be shared and edited in real time instead of sending many attachments back and forth by email. When we need to collaborate with people or organizations that mainly use Microsoft Office or other tools, sometimes formatting, permissions or file compatibility can become less smooth. Some settings, especially admin and sharing permissions, can also be a bit complex at first. Google Workspace helps us solve the problem of having communication, documents and planning spread across too many separate tools. Before using it in a structured way, it was easier to lose track of files, updates, responsibilities and deadlines. Now we can keep most of our operational work in one place. The main benefit is better coordination inside the organization. Team members can find shared documents in Drive, work together on Docs and Sheets, use Calendar to organize meetings and deadlines, and communicate through Gmail. Although the partner company we work with is excellent and always responds in the best way possible, I still prefer having a direct subscription and official support from Google itself. Google Workspace solves the problem of tool fragmentation by consolidating our email, cloud storage, video conferencing, and document collaboration into a single, cohesive ecosystem. Crucially for us, as a company without a dedicated IT department, it also solves the challenge of complex software deployment; the platform is so intuitive that we were able to configure and manage everything ourselves without any technical issues or external help. Additionally, it eliminates collaboration roadblocks. The ability for our team to work simultaneously on the same documents in real time has completely removed version-control issues. I love how the tools are integrated with each other and you can utilize them together: for instance in email I can easily pull up my calendar in the side panel to schedule a meeting. Sometimes, when the internet is slow, Google Meet and Drive become difficult to use properly and managing storage can be a little confusing when there are many files and emails start taking up space. Google drive can be improved by making it easier to find what you are looking for. I use key words and still cannot pull up what I need. I have to try to remember how to look certain items up because you cannot just put in words that are in the heading.This causes me a lot of turmoil over how much extra time it takes to find what I need. I would miss appointments because I thought I would remember them, and I did not. But Google calendar allows me to set reminders as needed, wheither 1 hour ahead or 1 week ahead! I am able to make meets on my calendar and invite other colleagues to th same meeting at the same time of making the appointment in my calendar.
