A VPC is a global resource and the subnets are regional resources, so whenever we integrate VPC with other resources in GCP, it is super easy to set up, it is flexible, scalable, and secure as well. The least favorable factor in VPC is if we select the default firewalls while setting up the VPC, it can give a lot of access to the internet i.e. at 0.0.0.0/0. The other downside is that when there is a complex use case or we need to work on shared vpc, we face a lot of limitations, which we are unaware of before performing it. The best part about Google VPC is it's high availability. It provides users almost zero to null down time and hence never impacts the business of users.
