It can translate any language there is, it can also speak it so you can learn how to pronounce it, it can also give you sentence suggestions and synonyms for the words you're trying to translate and give you other meanings for the word you typed. The only thing i dislike is when translating from arabic to english the words are translated literally and doesn't mean the same thing when you see it, some sentences are translated literally, i hope the mahine learning gets developed more to include more sophisticated arabic sentences.p Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I'm work at a chinese company and we have a lot of chinese speaking employees as well as cantonese and arabs, it's diverse enviroment where a lot of different languages are shared verbally and on sheets and reports, so it helps me translate everything and get a better understandings of my tasks and my reports. Super fast – begins translating as soon as you start to input text. Reliable enough for most purposes and works with over 130 different languages. Can be used for individual words, text, files, pdf’s docs, speech and even websites. Google Translate gives you examples of the word translated used in a sentence which is extremely helpful, and the synonym list helps you to pick the nearest option. For website translations, all you have to do is type the URL of the site in the input box and press enter. Poorer at regional languages and dialects, also you never actually know the accuracy of the translations, fine for many European / US languages, but less effective with less popular languages, such as from the Philippines. Long-form texts can lose their meaning. Some of the translations don’t feel very fluent or human. Some of my friends who come from abroad have said that some translation results are good enough to understand, but are an unusual amalgamation of words, which put together just about make sense. Great abroad when you are really struggling to express yourself in an unknown country and need to purchase a specific item. Translations appear immediately in front of your eyes. If translated into English, you will also see a speaker next to the translation, so you know how pronounce the word. Also provides non-Roman text, (eg Hindi) with the option to see them transformed into the native script – Google Translate also provides the opportunity to hear how the translation should sound.
