"Free, Insightful Website Performance Tracking with GSC"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

I like GSC because it gives me very useful insights into my website’s performance on Google. I can track queries, clicks, impressions, indexing status, and technical SEO issues, which makes it easier to understand what’s working and what needs attention. The best thing is that it’s completely free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

It has a limited URL indexing quota per day. Also, the data can be delayed by a few days. It would be better if it included a Google disavow tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple UI with Powerful Diagnostics Insights"
4/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

The performance and diagnostics features are the two things I use the most frequently. First, search results performance allows me to see what keywords we are ranking for, average position and volume. Diagnostics lets me know how our webpages are performing and being crawled. It also automatically flags any errors like 404s so I can alert my product team. The UI is very simple and easy to use. It is a free tool which makes up for some of the shortcomings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

The filtering and segmentation isn't the most comprehensive. For example, when looking at your search result queries, you can only add a maximum of 2 filters. So if I wanted to see how a certain query performs in a specific country on a specific device, I'll need to find a workaround. The Google Analytics integration doesn't provide as much additional functionality as I have hoped. Support is another issue that is hard to come by. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Free Website Performance Tracking That Delivers Fast SEO Results"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

I like that I can track the performance of specific websites. Most often, I use it to reindex URLs to support SEO after changes have been made. In my experience, this can help boost rankings and deliver tangible results fairly quickly. It's also really helpful for tracking Google Discover performance. And critically, it's free to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

I find that it doesn’t provide as much insight into performance as I’d like. For example, it’s hard to understand why we did better on one day than another when very little has changed. You can see the data, but it’s still up to you to dig into it and draw your own conclusions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SEO Manager"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

I am fixing all the SEO errors on my website through Google Search Console. It is displaying the exact errors of each page to improve the website's SEO ranking. And I liked the redex feature. It is helping to provide the website pages for Redex after the error is resolved and updated. So it avoids the auto-reindex wait period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

It is taking too much time for the auto crawl. Not indexing all the pages automatically. After resolving the error, it is taking 1 week to review it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps me understand how Google sees my website"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

Google Search Console fits naturally into my day-to-day workflow because it acts as a direct feedback channel between a website and Google’s search infrastructure. I typically start using it as soon as a site is live, not as a one-time setup step but as an ongoing reference point. The initial connection process is straightforward and once a property is verified, the interface consistently reflects the state of the site without requiring additional configuration. This makes it practical to return to regularly, especially when managing multiple sites or monitoring changes after content updates, migrations or technical adjustments.

In routine use, I rely on it to understand how Google is actually interpreting a site rather than how I assume it should be interpreted. Coverage reports, indexing status and page-level feedback give a clear picture of what is discoverable and what is being ignored. Over time, this becomes a predictable workflow: publish or update content, wait for crawl activity, then review how URLs are processed. That predictability matters because it reduces guesswork and prevents overreacting to short-term fluctuations that are common in search visibility.

The way performance data is presented encourages analysis rather than surface-level conclusions. Query impressions, clicks and average positions are tied directly to real URLs and search terms, which makes it easier to reason about why certain pages perform the way they do. I often use this data to validate whether structural changes or content refinements had the intended effect, rather than relying on third-party tools that infer rankings indirectly. The value here is not absolute precision, but consistency over time, which allows trends to be evaluated with confidence.

Another strong aspect is how the platform surfaces technical issues without requiring deep manual inspection. Crawl errors, mobile usability signals and structured data feedback are grouped in a way that highlights impact rather than raw volume. This helps prioritize work, especially when balancing SEO tasks against other responsibilities. Instead of scanning logs or running repeated audits, I can quickly identify which issues are worth addressing now and which can be deferred without meaningful risk.

Search Console also integrates cleanly into broader workflows because it does not try to replace other tools. It functions best as a diagnostic and verification layer, complementing analytics platforms, content planning tools and development work. When changes are made elsewhere -such as adjusting internal linking, updating templates, or deploying redirects - Search Console becomes the place where those decisions can be validated against real search behavior. That makes it easier to close the loop between intent and outcome.

Over longer periods, the platform proves useful as a historical reference. Being able to look back at indexing trends, visibility shifts, or recurring issues provides context that is often missing when relying only on short-term reports. This is particularly helpful when revisiting older sites or inheriting projects where past decisions are not fully documented. The data acts as a form of institutional memory, showing how the site evolved and where recurring constraints appear.

Overall, what I value most is that Google Search Console behaves like a stable, governable system rather than a constantly changing dashboard. It does not overwhelm with unnecessary controls, but it consistently exposes the signals that matter for understanding search presence. Used regularly and with patience, it reduces uncertainty, supports deliberate decision-making and makes search performance feel observable rather than opaque. Customer support is helpful and the resources/documentation are useful for solving issues quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

There isn’t anything I dislike about Google Search Console. For my workflow, it consistently provides the insights I need and I haven’t faced any issues significant enough to call out as a downside. The platform has also helped me learn more about SEO, indexing and site performance over time, which has improved how I approach website optimization. Overall, I’m satisfied with the value it delivers and how it supports my daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable Insights with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

I like that Google Search Console allows you to easily export and search insights and quickly filter details about your search traffic without much fuss. These features are valuable to me, especially when I need to provide clients or customers with relevant clicks, impressions, and click-through rates for each query or page on their website. This capability is helpful for understanding their traffic or visibility in search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

I feel that one thing that could be improved for Google Search Console is visibility in Google's AI mode. I believe they don't have it included in the search console metrics as yet. It'd be helpful to know how much traffic a website gets from AI mode versus the normal Google search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Insights: Track Clicks, Keywords, and Speed Up Indexing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

It helps me track clicks for my website’s listings in Google Search Results. It also supports faster indexing of my site’s pages by letting me submit a sitemap and send individual pages for indexing. On top of that, I can see all the keywords for which my website has appeared in Google Search Results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

The data isn’t 100% accurate, and there’s limited information available about a website’s internal and external links. Overall, I’d like to see more complete link-related details to make the results more reliable. There is no way to directly contact the customer support for certain complex issues. "Actionable Insights and Intuitive Dashboard for Website Success"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Search Console?

What I appreciate most about Google Search Console is the way it provides straightforward, actionable insights into my website's performance on Google Search. It allows me to identify which keywords are driving traffic, detect issues such as indexing problems, and gain a better understanding of how Google perceives my content. All of this is available for free within an intuitive dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Search Console?

One aspect I find frustrating about Google Search Console is that the data often feels restricted and can be delayed at times. Additionally, the platform doesn't always provide clear explanations for certain issues. Some of the reports are missing detailed context, which makes it more challenging to troubleshoot problems and make informed decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
