## Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Reviews
 ### 1. Google Kubernetes Engine Makes Managing Containers Much Easier.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tejaswini A. | Associate Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

I like that Google Kubernetes Engine is easy to use and doesn't require a lot of heavy setup. Deploying and managing clusters feels smooth, and most of the complex work is handled in the background. It integrates well with other Google Cloud services, which saves a lot of time during implementation. The features are solid and reliable, and I use it frequently without running into major issues.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

One thing I don't like about GKE is that the costs can add up quickly , especially when running larger clusters. Some of the advanced settings can also feel a bit complicated if you're not familiar with Kubernetes. At times, it takes a little digging through documentation to figure things out.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Kubernetes Engine helps me manage and run containers without worrying about all the manual setup and maintenance. It handles scaling, updates, and resource management automatically, which saves a lot of time and effort. It also make deployments more reliable and keeps services running smoothly.

 ### 2. Review on google kubernetes engine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharan P. | ETL Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

Once basic knowledge you get the installation is easy. Connecting other services like cloud sql,big query etc ... are easy. I use regularly as my apps are deployed in it. Easy in oragnizing multiple apps which helps me control and track at single go. Customer support is already available in form of documents regarding error and community supports generally resolve the issue.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

Needs training as its not biggner friendly completely. Sometimes cost can riseup and during upgrades i face little issues.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and oraginizing multiple apps and scaling and doen't have memory issue. No security threats as it's managed by google itself.

 ### 3. Detailed Review On "Google Cloud"

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** THANUSH T. | Artificial intelligence Engineer | AI & ML, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

There are many things that i like about Google cloud. It provides powerful AI tools and applications like vertex AI which is bit popular, and it provides a large network of data centers also. I find google cloud a bit cost effective compared to AWS and Azure. It is also good in security and privacy as in provides encryption. The user friendly interface makes the google cloud easy to use.Implementing is also not so difficult.I use this cloud platform regulary to track the usage and analyse it.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

The things I dont like about google cloud and feel it as a downside is, Trying to integrate any third part application or software to is very difficult and sometimes not possible and even though it is cost effective the pricing model is very complex ,so that it will be very difficult to estimate the price.I also feel it has less resources and not so good customer support compared to other cloud providers like AWS and Azure.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I am an AI engineer I deal with finetuning and training the LLM models which requires a higher GPUs which is not available in our systems. So Google cloud helps in providing a Virtual Machine with the required GPUs in a comparatively less cost compared to other cloud platforms, I also make use of the vertex AI provided by it which is very useful for me.

 ### 4. GKE Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

GKE makes life easier by handling a ton of the heavy lifting (like auto-scaling and rolling updates) so I can focus more on building cool stuff instead of babysitting infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

GKE can get pricey fast, especially when you start layering on features like Autopilot or using lots of regional clusters.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GKE takes the chaos out of managing containers by automating deployment, scaling and operations, which means less time firefighting and more time building what matters to me.

 ### 5. GKE: Robust Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Salvador A. | DEVOPS, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) offers a powerful, managed Kubernetes solution that makes deploying and scaling containerized applications a streamlined experience. GKE remains a strong option for teams seeking a managed Kubernetes experience.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

Costs can escalate with larger deployments, and troubleshooting deeper issues occasionally demands navigating complex cloud-specific documentation.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scalability

 ### 6. Google Cloud- Best place for your Cloud Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atishay J. | SDE1, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

I used Google compute engine, Google Kubernetes, big query, big table etc.
GCP is very easy to implement and integrate with other services.
I used to work on cloud requirements in my company so I use Google Cloud as my preferred choice.
GCP also provides 300 credits for new users.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

In comparison to its competitors in the same domain, the prices are relatively higher.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintaining on premises structure is very difficult, so we use Google Cloud for our high ending compute requirements.

 ### 7. Google Cloud Platform review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambuj P. | Associate Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

The variety of services provided with options to use provider managed and self managed features. The implementation of services are also quite easy and quite detailed out in the docs.

**What do you dislike about Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)?**

The UI can be made a bit cleaner and cost involved for services is quite high after the free trial.

**What problems is Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The infrasturcture capabilites like deploying servers, databases, networking within our environment. With the help of managed kubernetes services, a lot of overhead can be maintained by Google themselves which help a great deal.
