"Revolutionary Assistant for Multi-Faceted Problem Solving"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

I use Gemini as an all-in-one assistant for both my professional development and personal life. It's incredible how Gemini maintains a deep understanding of complex, multi-layered topics across a long session, which makes it feel like a true collaborative partner. I appreciate its incredible contextual memory and capacity for advanced reasoning, which helps me avoid the need to constantly re-explain things. Its massive context window and advanced reasoning save me mental energy by synthesizing vast amounts of diverse information and making interactions efficient by carrying over project constraints and specific details seamlessly. The initial setup was completely frictionless and it integrates so naturally with the broader Google ecosystem. Overall, Gemini’s core intelligence and reasoning capabilities remain incredibly high, making it an indispensable tool for my day-to-day tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

No tool is perfect, and for Gemini, the areas of improvement are mostly around minor output polish. It can occasionally over-explain simple concepts, and during intense, hours-long research threads, you might have to remind it of a specific rule you set at the very beginning. I'd also love to see more robust options for organizing past chats into folders or tags. However, these are minor formatting and quality-of-life preferences rather than dealbreakers, as the core intelligence and reasoning capabilities remain incredibly high. "Excellent at Analyzing Large Documents with Deep Research and Google Docs Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

The thing I like most about Gemini is its ability to analyze extremely large documents while maintaining context throughout. As a student, I find it especially helpful for reviewing research papers, summarizing lengthy PDFs, and extracting key insights without missing important details. I also appreciate features such as Deep Research, which gathers information from multiple sources and presents it in a structured format, as well as its integration with Google Docs and Drive, which makes managing academic and research projects much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

What I dislike about Gemmi is that it can make errors in mathematical calculations or in more complex reasoning tasks, so I sometimes need to verify the results independently. Also, getting highly accurate and detailed responses often requires multiple follow-up prompts, and features such as deep research can take longer to generate results. If these areas were improved, the overall user experience would be even more efficient and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An Excellent Companion for Troubleshooting Lab Setups and Code"
5/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

I’ve been using Gemini a lot to decompile large Bash scripts into clean, parsable formats, to do vulnerability analysis for Python scripts, and whenever I need a clearer understanding of how to configure the various utilities in my environment. What stands out most is how naturally it weaves in technical explanations. It isn’t just a dump of code—it walks through the logic behind what’s happening, from routing traffic through proxy layers on certain network equipment to explaining how different libraries work. The tone is conversational, which makes it genuinely enjoyable to read and learn from; it feels like I’m bouncing ideas off a more experienced peer or a tech lead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

It can be very useful for writing programs and for learning systems programming. However, sometimes it feels a bit reticent when I want it to explain how a network utility or security application works. I often have to choose my words carefully so it understands what I’m trying to do and doesn’t refuse to answer. Also, during longer troubleshooting sessions, it may forget a constraint and/or configuration detail that I set earlier in the chat, even though I need that context to get the correct output later on. "Seamless Google Ecosystem Integration That Boosts Productivity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

What I like most about Google Gemini is its integration with the Google ecosystem and strong multimodal capabilities. It can work with text, images, documents, and other types of content, making it useful for a wide range of tasks. Seamless integration with Google services such as Docs, Drive, Gmail, and Sheets. Ability to analyze and work with different types of content, including text and images. Helpful for research, content creation, and information summarization. Strong contextual understanding for follow-up questions. Useful for brainstorming, documentation, and productivity-related tasks. The most valuable feature is the integration with Google's productivity tools. Being able to access AI assistance within tools that I already use daily helps streamline workflows and reduces the need to switch between multiple applications.

The biggest benefit is improved productivity. Whether I'm researching a topic, summarizing information, or drafting content, Gemini helps complete tasks faster while keeping everything connected within the Google ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

The biggest limitation is consistency. While Gemini can provide excellent responses for research, content creation, and productivity tasks, there are times when the depth and accuracy of the answer are not as strong as I would like, requiring follow-up questions or manual verification.

Context retention in longer conversations is not always as strong as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great AI Assistant for Daily Use and Creative Writing"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

It’s honestly a great AI virtual assistant, and I have to admit I use it extensively almost every day. It gives me the real-time feedback I’m craving by showing me which areas are strong, which are weak, and what I can do to improve. I can’t fully express how useful it’s been for me as a creative writing tool.

On top of that, paying for the subscription opens up extra avenues that feel worthwhile, especially if you use it appropriately and efficiently. Overall, it’s helpful in a lot of ways. I even keep a notebook set up as a journal, and it often gives me insights that help me navigate the harder issues I run into. It’s also helped me learn a wide range of things, from science topics to game-related topics, plus parenting help and more. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

It’s honestly a great AI assistant overall, and I’ve been really enjoying the Gemini app. I only have one major gripe: the voice detection is terrible. It feels way too aggressive, and Gemini often cuts me off mid-sentence. I’m not even speaking slowly—just at a normal, natural conversational pace. This really needs to be addressed, because it’s incredibly annoying.

Also, this new update feels like a major step in the wrong direction visually. The text looks shockingly bold and heavy, which makes it really tough on your eyes, and I genuinely miss the classic UI’s cleaner look. A simple setting to toggle between the bold style and the original, more legible design would be a game changer for the overall UI/UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helpful AI Assistant for Daily Productivity and Research"
4/5
What do you like best about Gemini?

What I like best about Gemini is its ability to handle different types of tasks in a very smooth and conversational way. I have used it for content drafting, research support, summarizing information, brainstorming ideas, and basic coding assistance, and the responses are usually fast and well-structured.

I also like how Gemini integrates with Google services like Gmail, Docs, and Drive, which makes productivity workflows more convenient without constantly switching between applications. Features like Gemini Live, document summarization, and AI-assisted writing are especially useful for saving time during daily work and research tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

One thing I dislike about Gemini is that responses can occasionally become too generic or inconsistent when handling highly specific technical or detailed queries. In some cases, follow-up prompts are needed to get more precise or context-aware answers.

I have also noticed that certain advanced features and integrations work better within the Google ecosystem, so the experience may feel less seamless when using third-party tools or workflows outside Google services. While the platform improves regularly, response accuracy and depth can still vary depending on the type of request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Gemini is its deep integration with Google Workspace, which completely streamlines my daily workflow. It is incredibly fast at summarizing long documents, drafting emails, and answering complex queries with real-time information, which has significantly boosted my day-to-day productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gemini?

What I dislike most is that Gemini can still occasionally hallucinate or provide confidently incorrect answers to highly technical or niche questions. Because of this, I always have to double-check its facts and math formulas before using them in my final work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
