What do you like best?

The 'crash-free user' stat. It is great to be able to easily monitor how well our app is doing out in the real world. The real-time email notifications for crashes, ability to see users affected, and drill-down by release and type of device are all super helpful in tracking down issues and understanding the impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There are a lot of features that Firebase offers and it can sometimes be difficult to keep up with it all. Merging with Google Analytics just adds to that. I hope that there is some simplification of the user interface in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Monitoring our apps in the field, monitoring crashes and regressions, understanding impact. This is a great tool that is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like the fact that I no longer need to recreate events that led to an application crashing. Crashlytics automatically logs the error details and sends them to the central portal. The user only needs to make sure that the application is connected to the internet. In addition, the dashboard makes it very easy to identify devices or app versions that have been facing issues over a specific time period. it also gives very simple but informative graphs of crash activity within the app based on app version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There might be a need to add a location tag to the crash report such that more insight is provided regarding demographics. This will help a lot in determining how to solve certain issues with the app. In addition, providing the user with a notification stating that their issue has automatically been logged might also enhance user satisfaction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It is a great tool to use. You will not regret it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Crashlytics has helped us cut down on support and issue resolution time.Normally when we received reports of an app crash we would try to recreate the problem in order to get the error logs and then start fixing the issue. With Crashlytics, we now get the error logs just as a crash happens and this has significantly cut down our support time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's free. Google bought out Fabric.io the main competitor and combined it with Firebase Crashlytics, so it's not like you have any other choice. The competition in this space isn't that intense. And if you are using Firebase already for your database, you might as well add in crashlytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The dashboard is not as clear or as powerful as Fabric.io so hopefully, after Google bought Fabric.io, they'll make it better. But it doesn't seem like Google is making that many improvements to Crashlytics thus far. I have high hopes for the product. The setup is also a lot more of a process than I expected to be. It's not as easy as it seems or as easy as Fabric.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Google switches their product strategy a lot. And they also shutter programs frequently. One day they'll you that Fabric is what you need to switch to, and the next day, they'll tell you Crashlytics is the official one and you should switch back to Crashlytics. It's a free SaaS, but Google doesn't seem to have that much sense of direction of where they want it to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being able to see crashes is a huge benefit. It allows you to see what bugs to fix and what lines of code the error is occurring at. Softwares like Crashlytics really make life a lot easier and is super underappreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It only helped us newbies build trust with our partners and a good understanding of what we want our app to look like, so, we wouldn't dare bash Google ; ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do try the machine learning kit when building apps for your users and you'll thank us late Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

To newer entrepreneurs like us who are looking to introduce their business model to their partners through tech-savvy apps, Google Firebase was and is an incredible help in saving us time, energy and processing power. It's been an incredible platform for us to host our data on, all the users' info and most of all, analyze that data to better the experience when the app is used on various devices with different operating systems Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Setting up crashlytics is easy as pie.It has sdk for both android and ios which is great to work with.Crashlytics is open source on github which gives control to developers to peek what's going on.

The documentation is helpful for beginners showing each and every step to setup and even has option to copy the code to put in to avoid any mistake.

The main power of crashlytics comes in with its seamless and informative dashboard. It is brilliantly designed and easy to navigate with.

Users can switch back apps at ease. There are filters for versions and dates so that latest builds can be checked for issues or modified too.

Looking at the crash traces are gives the developer a fulll idea of when went wrong. There is a crash insights section also which gives us links and forums to solve the crash. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Crashlytics does not have any cons which I have found out.The only thing I dislike is uploading dsyms in case of iOS applications which become tiresome. There is a script to do that but in my case it does not work anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Before making crashlytics live.Create a custom crash and check if it is crashing or not.Check the documentation before implementing anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Crashlytics gives the developers like me full confidence that quality code is written and if there are issue with the code taking an example of nullpointers in Java or memory leak in Objective C,there are traces which acts as a hint for debugging are resolve those issues at ease. All in all perfect toolkit for better code quality.
