What do you dislike about Google Cloud Translation API?

Mainly the pricing can go higher as you translate large amounts of data also there are some nuances I observed with the context which can be a little better and also if there is no limit for customization then it's a lot better and usually I sometimes need audio output then I might require to collab it with some other tools. What do you like best about Google Cloud Translation API?

One of the best aspects of the Google Cloud Translation API is its accuracy and support for a wide range of languages—over 100 languages with continuous improvements powered by Google’s deep learning models. It's particularly good at handling contextual translations thanks to the Neural Machine Translation (NMT) backend, which improves fluency and natural-sounding results compared to older phrase-based systems. It's one of the fast, reliable and accurate API's which is easier to integrate, and provide features like auto-detection of languages, neural machine translation and provide high-quality results with minimal effort. "Testing Perspective"

What do you like best about Google Cloud Translation API?

The API delivers accurate, natural translations across many languages and performs quickly in real-time. Its auto language detection and glossary support make it flexible for business use. I also appreciate the document translation feature, which keeps formatting intact. It’s easy to integrate, well-documented, and scales reliably with Google Cloud. What do you dislike about Google Cloud Translation API?

While the API is powerful, it can be expensive at scale, especially for high-volume or continuous translation needs. The customization options are limited unless you use the advanced (and more complex) AutoML Translation. Also, some translations lack context in less common languages, and error messages could be more descriptive for debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quite useful when it comes to professionalism and communication skills"
5/5
What do you like best about Google Cloud Translation API?

It helps me a lot when I need the most out of it. I used it when drafting an email and non-call conversations with my seniors. I am a networking person, I like to network with plenty of people on LinkedIn and in real life, it helps me in LinkedIn connection requests and pitching entrepreneurs/professionals. I am a frequent and daily user, It does my work with so much precision. When it comes to travel, it is so useful in communicating with the locals and learning their culture. Easy to integrate into my app and website. Easy to implement without training. It also supports customers when it comes to satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Translation API?

Although it is a very useful technology and helps throughout the work, it lags when it comes to the local dialects and slang. That is the main reason why I prefer an AI chatbot over this. It sometimes shows no or the same response when we ask it to translate to a particular language. It hangs irritatingly and we need to cut the whole sentence and start from the beginning. Also, I do not like the interface, it is too subtle and does not look appropriate to my eyes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Super tool for translating text"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Google Cloud Translation API?

For me particularly for languages like English and Hindi, it provides quick and precise translations. It is frequently used by the chatbot we use and it is very easy to implement. Its simple integration makes it simple to use with computer languages we use in our services. The API works well in real-time applications like chatbots and multilingual websites. I really like its scalability when needed. I did not use its customer support as there is plenty of support in the online community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Cloud Translation API?

Translations for some languages not always be accurate and high usage result in increase in cost. It is a great option for companies and developers in need of an translation solution in spite of the disadvantages of a pricy solution and less accuracy for some languages. What do you dislike about Google Cloud Translation API?

It's a bit high priced service, lowering the initial bar helps in gathering more users and understanding the true impact and value. I couldn't find any option to use it offline, which may be a downgrade for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
