**What do you like best about Google Cloud SQL?**

What I like about Google Cloud SQL is it provides a cloud-based DBMS, doesn't require complicated setup, and allows me to connect and query data from various databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server. Also, Cloud SQL allows my team to use SQL Server Management Studio to access and manage our analytical projects that combine on-premise databases with data on Google Cloud.

The service integrates with Google Cloud storage, and the user interface is well-designed and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud SQL?**

The service cost management requires users to be familiar with Google Cloud platform pricing models when integrating other services, like storage or AI tools.

**What problems is Google Cloud SQL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud SQL allows us to develop data pipelines and analytical solutions that Integrate SQL Server on-premise workload with Google Cloud SQL. We don't need to learn additional data management or visualization tools as Google Cloud SQL integrates with the tools that my data analytics and business intelligence teams already use, like SQL Server Management Studio and PowerBI.

For me, it's one of the preferred DB services when comes to Migration, with a very little downtime window and incidents too for a wide range range of projects, be it small or for a very large Client. Apart from that, there is no need to do the regular maintenance (like backups, restarts etc) of DB servers as it's completely managed.
