## Google Cloud Identity Reviews
  ### 1. Stable, Reliable Experience with Google Cloud Identity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

I like that Google Cloud Identity runs smoothly once you get used to it. Some parts of the interface and navigation logic feel a bit unclear at first, but the overall experience is stable and reliable. And if you’re looking for a top‑tier global cloud provider, Google Cloud is definitely one of the strong candidates.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

Some parts of the UI and navigation feel a bit unintuitive, and it can take time to figure out where certain settings live. The structure isn’t always as clear as it could be. But once everything is set up, the system runs smoothly and reliably, which makes the initial friction easier to accept.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud Identity reduces operational overhead by centralizing identity and access management across our tools and services. It cuts down the time spent on onboarding, offboarding, and permission updates, which directly lowers administrative costs. The unified security policies also reduce risk exposure, helping avoid costly compliance issues. Overall, it streamlines user management, improves security consistency, and delivers clear ROI by saving both time and operational effort.

  ### 2. Fast, Trustworthy Google Experience with Two-Factor Authentication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Achirachaya T. | Python Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

The Google brand is very well known and trustworthy. It supports two-factor authentication, which adds an extra layer of security. The interface is fast and responsive, consistent with what I’ve come to expect from Google’s other interfaces.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

I don’t have any specific concerns, but given Google’s reputation for shutting down many of its services, I can’t help but worry that this one might disappear in the future and I’ll have to set up a new alternative.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to sign up for our in-house services securely using a very familiar Google interface, and of course, we don’t need to develop our own user management system.

  ### 3. Centralized Identity Management with Smooth SSO and MFA Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Satwik Bodhisatwa D. | Junior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

What I like best about Google Cloud Identity is its centralized user and identity management. It makes it easy to manage users, groups, and access policies across Google Cloud and other connected applications from a single place. The integration with Google Workspace, SSO, and multi-factor authentication improves both security and user experience. It simplifies onboarding and offboarding, reduces administrative overhead, and ensures consistent identity policies across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

What I dislike about Google Cloud Identity is that its setup and configuration can feel complex initially. Understanding how identities, groups, SSO, and access policies work together takes some time, especially for new administrators. Troubleshooting sign-in or sync issues isn’t always straightforward, and documentation can sometimes feel scattered. While it’s powerful, it does have a learning curve before everything is fully optimized.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud Identity solves the problem of managing user identities and access across cloud resources and applications in a centralized and secure way. It provides single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication, and unified user and group management, reducing the need for multiple credentials and manual access control. This benefits me by improving security, simplifying user onboarding and offboarding, reducing administrative effort, and giving users a smoother, more consistent sign-in experience across services.

  ### 4. Streamlined Identity and Access Management for Modern Cloud Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | AI Data Annotator, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

The user experience is straightforward and consistent across devices. Implementing multi-factor authentication and managing user permissions is effortless. I particularly value the deep integration with Google Workspace and popular third-party tools—it makes cross-platform access smoother and more secure. The flexibility to manage both internal and client accounts from one console is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

Although setup is generally simple, configuring some advanced policies and custom integrations may require technical expertise. The pricing model can also be a bit high for small teams, especially those just scaling up. Better proactive support or onboarding guidance for mid-sized businesses would make it even better.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s solving the critical problem of fragmented identity management across multiple platforms. With Cloud Identity, we can easily control user access, enforce strong authentication policies, and ensure compliance—all from one unified dashboard. This has improved our security posture, reduced administrative overhead, and streamlined collaboration across remote and in-house teams.

  ### 5. Seamless Zero Trust SSO, but clunky hybrid sync and limited native reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giuseppe A. | IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

What I like most is the balance between ironclad security (the so-called Zero Trust approach) and minimal user friction. It delivers a seamless SSO experience across a multi-cloud environment, while still giving admins strong, granular control through Context-Aware Access.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

The main drawbacks are the clunky sync tools for hybrid environments and the lack of granular reporting in the native console. On top of that, the pricing jump between the Free and Premium tiers feels steep for organizations that only need a handful of advanced security features.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud Identity addresses the issue of fragmented identity silos by giving us a single, secure source of truth. For me, this means less login friction across our entire tech stack and the ability to implement a Zero Trust security model that protects our data without getting in the way of user productivity.

  ### 6. Simple, Dependable Access Management with Robust SSO/MFA

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsh P. | Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

I appreciate how simple and dependable Google Cloud Identity is for user and access management. The integration with Google Workspace works smoothly, the security features, such as SSO and MFA, are robust, and it's easy to manage permissions from a single dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

Google Cloud Identity is some higher-level feature need more expensive plans. The interface can also seem limited when compared to other identity tools.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Google Cloud Identity helps manage user access and security across the organization. This improves security, reduces IT workload, and saves time by making the onboarding and offboarding of employees simpler.

  ### 7. Easy to set up and manage, with excellent integration and security

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

What I like the most is that it is very easy to set up and manage users. The integration with other Google services is excellent and allows you to manage everything from one place. Additionally, the security is very good and gives you peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

Sometimes the initial setup can be confusing. I would like it to have more documentation in Spanish. The price could be more accessible for small businesses.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us manage employee identities in a centralized way. Improve security with two-factor authentication. Facilitate access to all Google applications and greatly simplify team management. Sometimes the interface can be a bit complicated for new users. I would also like it to have more customization options. Technical support could improve in response times.

It's pretty hard to get used to at first. I personally found it difficult to adapt to it. The usability should be made way easier.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin A. | Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Google Cloud Identity?**

**What do you dislike about Google Cloud Identity?**

At times it was sometimes hard to understand why we would pay for this when there was other software that was equally is better from the same company. For example you can use the authenticator app from Google that will give you a very similar two-factor authentication experience compared to having this.

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a strong believer in security especially on the online presence form. But I find myself wondering if it was 100% necessary to have this program. I found Google authenticator app as being something that we switched to that gavr similar benefits.

the two-part security confirmation mechanism is not easy to activate, and unsure whether it could be unactivated (for when you're switching between phones, or in a foreign country with a different cell phone number, which makes users switch fully to use the two-part security system)

**What problems is Google Cloud Identity solving and how is that benefiting you?**
