It has good protection to workloads on-premises or in the cloud and help prevent load balancing workloads. It follows ML based approach to help prevent DDOS attacks. By using cloud Armor we can block any IP to access any service. I have blocked all the IP except the white listed VPN IP to access my service. Found best service from GCP. In my case the GCP cloud Armor helped me to protect my monitoring apps dashboard. Which can only accessed by whitelisted IP. This protect our infra from all other requests. It provides the high level protection against application and infrastructure which is focus on DDOS(Distributed denial of service attack) damage. It provide us with great language rules to customize defense strategy and reduce the probable risk of attacks. Through this product I can protect gmail,YouTube etc which is a great help. I can allow incoming traffic which is based on IP address and make them in deny list or allow list according to me.It also helps in creating customer defense with any combination of layer 3 to layer 7.It also helps me in building a security model for GCP service.
