I use Google Authenticator mainly for 2-factor authentication to keep my accounts secure. It generates one-time verification codes for apps like Gmail, banking apps, and social media accounts. It's simple, fast, and works without an internet connection, making it both secure and convenient. I love the app's simplicity and reliability. It's lightweight, easy to set up, and generates verification codes instantly without needing an internet connection. The smoothness of the app and how it works smoothly across different services and platforms is a big plus. Adding accounts is quick and hassle-free by scanning a QR code, and the clean interface makes it easy for even non-technical users. The offline functionality is incredibly dependable, especially while traveling or during network issues. Instant OTPs and QR code setup enhance my experience, making it very reliable without relying on SMS. The initial setup was simple, straightforward, and quick. It was easy to deploy across teams in my small-to-medium-sized organization, required little training, and provided a reliable extra layer of security for personal and work-related accounts. Better organization features. 3. More modern interface. I'd like to see it improve its backup and recovery process with clearer onboarding and more secure cloud restore options. Features like encrypted backups, easier device transfer, and recovery reminders would make the app less stressful to use if a phone is lost or replaced. There’s also an option to transfer codes to another device, which is very practical when I want to use two mobiles. Being able to see at a glance the MFA codes, and you can sync them to your Google account so that if you loose your phone it's not an issue. Also, you can FaceID lock the app now on iOS.
